The toilet was overflowing and there was no contact information for maintenance anywhere. There were several honey buckets outside, so I guess this happens frequently(?). It was quite packed with a group hosting a private event and the courts were all full. We walked around the park with our toddler, and there were tons of random kinks on the ground. I even found a piece of broken glass that wasn't super far from where my daughter was... The lake was pretty though, and there were people fishing. I think it's less maintained than Bellevue parks...

Some spot are shallow enough that you can laid back for a tan on your lawn chair. You can float down the river right between the Renton airport and Boeing factory into the lake. Awesome! One of the coolest thing would have to be the calisthenic gym for me!! So dang cool to have that!

The second time my kid wanted to come so we purposely drove out to it. This time we left early because it didn't feel safe. We went to the bathroom and there was a homeless person in there occupying the handicap restroom, most likely doing something illegal. Her arm was sticking out under the stall and it felt kind of scary. I had to usher my kids out as quickly as possible. When we got back to the playground, tons of trash. A toddler pulled down her pants to pee on the ground. A bunch of teenagers were at the toddler playground without shoes on, occupying the "inside" of the playground. Worried my kids had to go to the bathroom again, we left early. It didn't seem sanitary nor safe anymore. We will not be back.

The only reason I found it was because of handy dandy Yelp! There's a parking lot that has plenty of parking, and a building with bathrooms in it. Can't speak much to them because we didn't use them, but they didn't look bad on the exterior. The park itself is pretty big. There's plenty of space to walk, even with a little mini trail in a cluster of trees near the playground. There's also a baseball field here, and sheltered seating perfect for eating lunch. The playground is awesome too. They've got equipment that's perfect for all ages - and they have baby swings! There's also a well-maintained basketball court here as well. Fabulous park. Super quiet, safe, and a perfect spot to bring the kiddos. We'll be back.

They have reserved picnic spaces but also lots of spaces where you can simply claim to use the day of your gathering. The bathrooms were not the cleanest nor was the lake water as my son left with a stomach bug the next day. The parking lot is a bit of a hike to get to the lake and picnic areas. I highly recommend using a wagon to transport food and drinks. Or you can have somebody pull up in the handicapped parking loop to drop off party supplies.
