Don't know about the other. Information about the city off leash Bark Park at Pendergast is included on the sign (there is a off leash dog park in Silverdale too). Both are about 7 miles way from the park. Nice view of the Narrows, Mt Rainier & the Olympics to enjoy while there.

Beautiful colored skies, nice lighting, and no distractions whatsoever. Mother Nature was good to us that day. We definitely took our time with our shots and made the most of the evening. Other than that, the park is great for walk/jogs and just a nice peaceful area to be at with the waters right next to it. There is also a baseball field, tennis courts and a basketball court, but it was closed during the pandemic. They even unscrewed the basketball hoops off the courts. Just a great stress reliever at this park. :)

Token operated batting cages for baseball, fast pitch and slow pitch are located between fields. Bathrooms are limited to one for men and one for women. The line for the women's room looked brutally long. No honey buckets noted. A small playground is nearby. No concession stand seen but a taco truck was on site. The main parking lot is medium sized. There is an overflow lot just outside the main entrance. It offers more parking than the main lot but you'll have to hoof it a bit further. Overall the place is spacious. Lots of shade to be found away from the fields in tall timber for those few hot and sunny days. Bring folding chairs and a pop up canopy. Bleacher seating fills up fast.

Robins were out foraging in the grass of the soccer fields and a thin haze of wildfire smoke helped block out some of the sun's rays. A couple of the areas of the park were taped off for work to be done without interruption. Parking along the soccer fields was abundant. A few other vehicles/groups came and went while I was here including dog walkers/owners and a police car. Around the perimeter of the soccer fields was a paved walking path with faded painted arrows denoting which direction to travel. Signs along the path communicated the distance of two laps was approximately one mile.

I haven't seen a dog fight or aggressive dog in the time I've been going. The restroom is clean and open year-round. The do turn off the water inside the dog park so we usually bring some.
