Totally overpriced at $85 ( $127 holidays & weekend). Greens are nice, but sand traps are terrible. They have rocks and pebbles all over. Playing out of green side bunkers leaves pebbles on the green. Tee boxes are not in good shape also. Will not play there again any time soon. . read more

Played Sunday at noon with 2 foursomes. The club had scheduled a Daddy's Daycare tournament (seems like a worthwhile cause) with mostly novice golfers, including some small kids. Mostly nice people but had no etiquette. We followed them over a 6-hour round, sometimes waiting 20 minutes on the tee or to hit our approaches. Course management chose a horrible time to host this tournament - - a prime midday weekend slot, had no marshalls to move play along, and when we called the clubhouse seeing a 2-group backup on the 2nd (!) tee, we were told to "tough it out." We were offered no refund, raincheck or discount. At the end of the round we were told the clubhouse was no longer serving food and drink service was so slow we left. The course was in decent condition but the greens were quite slow and the traps were full of large rocks - - it appeared the maintenance staff had given up on them. This has historically been a favorite of ours, but with Oki Golf's neglect of upkeep, poor management and a negafive attitude, we wont be coming back. Find yourself a new option on the Peninsula, the Trophy is sadly a booby prize these days. read more

Had a great time but with a military discount of $4. just didn't seem very good. Normal $99. but I only paid $94. oh boy what a deal!!! Still a nice course but with all the sand traps you would think they could afford more sand and less rocks. I will still probably try and get there once per year just for variety but I will check for a better discount. read more

I have a "like-dislike" view on Trophy Lake. (not quite love-hate) This course has great bones and it's quiet and the visuals of playing there are good. The people that work there are really nice. There are no "don't really want to be here" people that I've met and that's a good thing. So that said, here are my issues. They charge more than the two other courses nearby and and there are part of the course they should do much better in upkeep. If a course has cheap rates, you can expect less than nice course conditions but when it's almost $100 (off season) to play, it's reasonable to expect no grass growing in the bunkers (many) and clean out the big rocks IN those bunkers. (also many) Right now, Trophy Lake is a $60 course so if they have those rates available, it's worth it. If they are at $100+, go to Gold Mountain or McCormack Woods. read more

Oh no! SOMETHING VERY BAD HAPPENED TO THIS PLACE! I have been coming to Trophy Lake for golf for at least a decade. On my most recent visit, the condition of the course was appalling. The greens were absolutely terrible. Bumpy, overgrown, slow - basically not rolling. A lot of the rest of the course was uneven as well. I am completely fine if a course gets burned out, but this was more of a lack of maintenance. I always thought Scott Oki was cheap, but the new owners must be making him very very very proud. It doesn't seem to matter, as the course was still crowded. I guess people really will eat sand. I will go play golf elsewhere, but feel badly for the people out on the Peninsula, as they down to only Gold Mountain for golf now. read more

Recently played this course with some friends. I had last played it about 10 years ago and I had high hopes. The first impression as I drove up was that the clubhouse looked a bit run down. It still is fairly expensive considering it is October. When I grabbed a cart I was surprised to find that most carts had ripped seats and bald tires. To me this is indicative of a course that is underwater if them can't take care of the little things. Maybe it is just me but I seem to remember the carts also having gps in them. If they did have them, why the downgrade? On to the course. The fairways were in pretty good shape and it was just as challenging as I remember. The sand was horrible and hadn't been tended to in some time. But, golfing in the covid days this is appearing to be more of the norm. The greens were a bit rough but fair. At this price and being over an hour away I won't look to make TL a regular stop now that I am playing 1-2 times a week. read more

I brought my 94 year old dad to Trophy Lake for fly fishing. The pro at the pro shop couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating, bringing us a golf cart to get to the water and patiently telling us how to access the ponds. As we were out in the middle of the day, we didn't get a nibble, but the ponds are pretty, the course is beautiful with a lovely waterfall to enjoy while having a dog and a beer. I will definitely return again. read more

She was attentive, informative and cooperative during our entire event. Her staff was capable and hard working, the chef coordinated the food and serving perfectly and the facility and grounds were ideal for our gathering. read more

My husband and I were looking for a wedding venue for a really long time, until his brother mentioned trophy lake. As soon as Brian showed us around the first time we fell in love. our wedding planning was very last minute but Andrea and Brian are simply amazing and worked with us through the motions. The staff working our wedding was truly great. All our guests loved the food, we were lucky enough to get great weather too!! Another season starts and Trophy Lake is still not spending money on the course. This is one of my favorite courses but in the last two years it has really gone downhill. Old carts with ripped seats. Bunkers that have so many rocks I would swear they got the sand from a redi mix bag. The tee boxes are pathetic. Fairways are in decent shape and the greens appeared to be growing back after plugging them but need work. Restrooms are dirty and not stocked. The conditions have been deteriorating over the last two years and it doesn't seem management wants to spend money to make it better. When there last week I saw ONE maintenance worker on the entire course. It could us a lot more. Sad read more

This is my home course. I love playing here. The course is challenging but not overly so. There is a good variety of doglegs left and right so no single ball flight type is overly penalized. The course is beautiful and the staff are professional and friendly. The cost is hard to beat as well. Especially if you have the Okicard. The only problem is little marshaling is done here so a couple of slow groups can kill your round. More than once we have either played the front 9 over again or just skipped holes entirely to move on. We weren't interested in playing 5+ hour rounds. Normally we are done in 3-3.5 hours. Anyways... Go here and play this course. You'll love it. But if you are slow please let the group behind you pass through. It's good manners and golfers can use all the good karma they can get. read more

Trophy lake is plush. Seriously plush. We're talking, the greens roll like velvet plush. I bought an oki card recently and used one of my free rounds at trophy lake. I was blown away. Easily one of the nicest, well maintained golf courses I've played in a long time. Slope is high. Not a new players course. Not an easy walk. And bring your balls. The rough is long. We're talking toddler height. Up to your knees and you can't help but kick it when you walk and look for your ball. At that one of our group members paid 91 for prime time golf and a cart. That's a c-note. A benjamin. Is this course worth 100 dollars to play? I guess so, yeah. read more

My brother and I played yesterday-( Sunday-July 22nd )-. My brother has played to low as a 2 Handicap. Myself a 12. We played from the Blue tee's. This was my brothers first time playing this course. My brother said this might be has favorite course in the state ?. The course was in outstanding conditions, however the greens a bit lumpy. The BIG problem was the horrific SLOW PLAY. The course should have a marshal or two.. Almost a 6 hour round.................... This said, we will be back, perhaps, mid-week. read more

I just love coming out to Trophy lake. The course is always in great shape, despite a few wet spots last week, and the views are spectacular. Greens were putting really well, even after a week from being aerated. Just played with my buddy last Wed to use up a few OKI rounds before 3/31. Incidentally, we both forgot our jackets in the cart. We contacted Nathan in the pro shop to see if anyone had turned them in. He was super busy and when he got a break, sure enough was able to locate them and ship them back to my house. Hats off to Nathan for going the extra mile for us, really appreciate it. Can't wait to come back again soon. read more

One of the oki golf courses. Anyone familiar with the oki golf courses will know that they are great courses. Trophy lake does not disappoint. Some way of the beaten path, this course probably doesn't get the accolades that it deserves. Having played all the oki courses this is probably my favorite track. I play a lot if golf (about 50 - 60 rounds a year), this course is a must play. If you are looking for a challenging course with great views this is a must play. read more

I have golfed at all the Oki courses, and this one ranks near the top for the golf experience, and at the top for the atmosphere and service. Lance Fong, General Manager, and his staff do a great job. I hold an annual charity golf tournament and have used Trophy Lake several times. The post round banquet in the pavilion, next to the waterfall, is spectacular! The quality of service from hosting weddings, exceeds our golf tournament expectations. I cannot wait to get my boys 12 & 15 boys out for a round of golf and fly fishing! Great guys day out. read more

This is a fantastic course that requires some thinking and use of all your clubs. The fairways were lush today and the greens fast and consistent. It is a beautiful walk through forest land and nary a home in sight, a nice golf getaway. As for walking, there are rolling hills but overall a very easy walk. Today was my first time playing the course and it has vaulted to the top of my list of favorite Seattle-area courses to play, and I've played most of them. read more

More than just a golf course, it's a great place for breakfast and lunch. The BBQ French Dip is a fantastic example. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is not at all the small, dark clubhouse you might expect from a golf course eatery. It's more like a lodge dining room. read more

We had our wedding here just this past June and WOW!! Could not have picked a better place! People are still talking about how awesome our wedding was and we couldn't have done it without the help of the people that worked there. Cheryl who is their wedding coordinator did above and beyond for us to make sure everything flowed perfectly. The chef Jim is so kind and makes incredible food, and Bill the bartender really made the night fun with his service! Also Lance who is the General Manager there was so pleasant and helpful to work with. I would recommend Trophy Lake to anyone planning a wedding, event or a day of golf. Trophy Lake is the perfect combination of course layout/condition/management/pricing (IMO). I live over an hour away and make the trek 5-6 times a year because of this. Great value for the money, especially with the Oki Trophy Lake Club Card. I'm not in love with the first 5 holes, as they are in close proximity to one another and don't go with the vibe of the rest of the course (secluded/peaceful). Other than that....its pretty good. Practice/Warmup areas are great, food and service are excellent, clubhouse is top notch....just an overall great facility at a reasonable rate. I love to walk every golf course and did the first few times out to Trophy Lake, but for the sake of others and speeding up your round I would suggest a cart, blasphemy to me usually, but the distance between some of the holes makes walking borderline unreasonable, unless the course is empty. I envy those that live in/around Kitsap....great course! read more

One of the best public courses in the Puget sound region. Excellent layout, well maintained and no houses on the course. Plus you can fish. Nice clubhouse, good food and friendly cart girls. What more could you want? Waterfalls? Check. Not the cheapest, and not easy to score. But you will have a good day. Get your Oki card and get out here. read more

Extremely well maintained course that is very quiet and secluded. Extremely friendly staff and a great facility: one of the best driving ranges in the area. I dropped one star only because I felt (for the price) the design of the holes were somewhat monotonous (a lot of straight and very long holes with a bunker every 50 yards). There were a handful of interesting holes, but I would have liked more interesting features, some dog legs, water carries, elevated tees, etc. Also, unless you're a long/straight hitter, most holes are impossible to reach in regulation. read more

Set my fiancée his father and a friend a tee time and had the a terrible experience! Set it for Sunday, called to reschedule for Saturday and my tee time was not in the computer..Was told I couldn't golf at 4:00 to get a discounted rate because there was a tournament behind me. I had to recheck to be sure my boys could be there and when I called back I was told the tournament was ahead of me! I just set their tee time for 3:05 even thought there was a big difference in price. When they showed up they were told they would not be able to golf till after 4 because they didn't have carts. . There were people waiting ahead of them for carts too. When they asked if they got a discounted rate for starting after 4 and the guy in their shop was very rude and still told them no! Eventually they went to Lake land golf course and were very happy with them. They had driven up from Tri-Cities which is 5 hours away. Very unhappy read more
