Don't waist your time, Save yourself money and with another company! Romex Lies, is Not Reliable, has horrible customer service and they do not care about keeping a customer. I had a sales men for Romex knock on my door. I advised I was already working with another pest company and he sold me on using their services as they not only inspect for bugs but also mice. He said lots of people in the new builds get mice in the attic and there service covers full inspection and a bait box would just be an additional 10.00. This was all a lie, the service they offered does not allow them to put a bait box in the attic. The person that comes out to spray is only inspecting bugs they do not look for mice and can not go into your attic. You will be instructed to call in for them to send a person trained for mice and charged additionally. I called 24 hours after I found out this was a lie and told customer service that I wanted to cancel she advised that she could not take cancellation over the phone that someone would call me back. No one ever called me back. I sent in an email for cancellation and no one responded to my initial email. I sent a follow up email 72 hours after initial email was sent asking for them to confirm my cancellation and I also cancelled my card at this point. Only then did I get a response in the form of a bill for 240.00 advising that I owed money. I had someone come spray for initial service was on site for maybe 5 mins. I paid for the initial service however per Romex since I was cancelling a year contract regardless of me cancelling within 24-48 hours I owed them 240.00 for a service they never fully provided! read more

Be aware of companies that reel you in just to treat you like another number. Once they have you... you're stuck until the end of your contract. It's all for sales! There were soo many unresolved issues. The effort to make it right wasn't there. Your first services seem nice until you're mid contract and realize you can never get the same person they moved them or they've been relocated to help service their "expanded area". Services are not standard. Everyone seems to just do their own types of treatment and nothing is ever consistent. They love to say everyone's service is the same. It's not. Go somewhere where scheduling is consistent, your tech's are consistent, and you're continuously treated with respect. read more

STAY AWAY! Complete and total scam. The 1 Star reviews here are legit! Every neighbor of mine has expressed the same feedback with Rolex and how much they lie, unreliable, gimmick treatment when they show up- they made me pay $500 to seal around our home and it hasn't helped one bit! They change schedules on you, walk in your house with shoes on when they know you don't allow shoes in your home and when you call to address your concerns, they remind you that you're locked into a contract and you're pretty much stuck!! All I have to say is SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!! I get better results treating my house, myself!!! Once they have you sign a contract, they literally give you crap service and treatment in and around your home!!! read more

Travis made our Romex Pest Control experience a great one!! He made sure we understood everything he was going to do before he started and even made the extra effort to walk around the house with us to address any specific concerns we might have had. He circled the house about 3 to 4 times, applying the individual treatment needed and I'm pretty sure he either dusted or sprayed every corner of our home making us feel extra protected from the unwanted pests. We were extremely satisfied with his professionalism and his explanations of what he was going to do and what areas he covered for the current treatment. The worst service of all. I had the service since 2018 and the first two years it was very good and effective, then it seemed that they only applied water because I had many problems with ants and spiders inside and outside the house, I called and reported it, they came and continued with the problem at the level I went to Lowes to buy a repellent for ants and spiders and it was much more effective than what they were applying. On several occasions I contacted the company because they sent me the bill as if they had gone to the house to do the service and when I checked the cameras around the house they had never gone and it happened to me on several occasions. I disliked the service because it was not effective and the customer service was terrible and hostile, then they told me that if I canceled it I would have to pay a $250 dollar fine for canceling it before the contract date. Despite their promises of free additional services if you're unhappy and the option to cancel anytime, it's all misleading. People BE AWARE of these hidden terms and don't fall for this company's deceitful practices. It's not just a waste of money; it's a complete and utter SCAM, especially the Termite installation! read more

I have been using Romex for almost 2 years. I was very close to canceling my service because I have had a silverfish problem that did not seem to be going away after regular treatments. But then they finally sent Phillip, a knowledgeable technician. He listened to my concerns, spent an extensive amount of time in my home to address the issues, and was very thorough in his attempt to find root cause. He even let me know it was time to change my AC filter. He has gone above and beyond the call of duty! I am no longer thinking of canceling my service because of him! read more

We have had the best experience with Romex for the last two quarters. They come when scheduled, communicate and even come in between quarterlies for free if I see a spider (eek!) . I switched from All-Safe to Romex because of All-safe raising their prices. After seeing the good reviews I thought I'd give Romex a try. So far, not off to a great start. I will say they were quick in scheduling the initial treatment which is nice. However after reading the techs notes after their initial visit, I noticed they didn't mention anything about replacing or reloading the bait boxes (which is one of the reasons we were signing up with a pest company-I saw a mouse on our front porch and I specifically told this to the guy when I signed up). I called the Romex office to find out why that service wasn't done and the first person I spoke to told me rodents weren't included in my contract (mind you I had just signed a year commitment) so hearing this of course made me pretty angry. After her telling me it would be $300-$1500 extra for rodent treatment, I got off the phone with her before I got really mad. I reviewed my contract and sure enough mice/rats WERE included in my contract. I called them back and spoke to a different person this time. After explaining that mice/rats are included, he said he'd contact my tech to find out about the bait boxes and send someone out if the service wasn't completed. THIS was supposed to be the response to get the first time I called. When I asked why the other girl told me something different and was telling me I needed to have someone else out for an additional quote for service and essentially pay more money, he said just said, "she misunderstood" (that's it...no apology, nothing). I specifically asked about bait boxes and treatment outside when I called the first time and that mice/rats were listed on my contract, but she just kept saying that they were not covered and that what's on my contract is additional (even though I told her it never said additional cost on the contract)...never did I mention seeing any rodents INSIDE my house, but one on my front porch. As a customer service representative, she should have asked exactly what service I was talking about not just assume I'm talking about inside rodent treatment, especially since I was adamant about it being included on my contract.
