We are absolutely obsessed with the flowers Jori and her team did for our June 2025 wedding at 167 Green Street. I'm attaching some photos but they don't even do it justice - my jaw dropped when I walked into the room and saw the magic they worked. I had a very specific vision in terms of colors and theme, but I left flower selection, shape, etc. all completely up to Jori and she designed and executed it all flawlessly. My husband just kept repeating how incredible the flowers looked as if he was in shock, but after interviewing over 15 other florists before choosing Jori, I was not one bit surprised at how perfect the florals were. Our venue is a lot of dark gray and glass, and can feel a little corporate and cold if the design doesn't intentionally warm it up. I had asked for monochrome blush-mauve-berry, but the actual shades Jori chose made the room feel bright and welcoming and cozy all at the same time. Everything Jori planned worked for both our ceremony during daylight and during the reception when it got dark, which I didn't realize would be so important when I was thinking about wedding planning. We also asked for a hanging installation that I imagine was difficult to create, and it was the perfect scale and design for the space. I can't end my review without also noting how lovely Jori was to work with. She was incredibly responsive throughout the planning process and is just an absolute joy and treasure of a person. We got married on 9/8/18 and used Fab Flora for our flowers and table decor. We were recommended to Fab Flora through our venue, and reached out last year to start the process. After our first meeting with Jori we stopped looking for another florist. Not only was she super friendly and totally willing to work within our budget, but she had great ideas for the best seasonal flowers and rentals that she could provide for our tabletops, including vases and candles. We started out having no idea what we wanted, but as our vision came together, Jori was so flexible with updating the overview to accommodate all of the details. I initially met Jori of Fab Flora at the Indie Wed wedding expo, and I was impressed right away. There were many florists set up there, but Jori seemed down-to-earth, friendly and approachable. And she gave out a little something to remember her by (besides the usual business card or flyer): a single rose, complete with its own little water tube. It was a small touch that showed me right off the bat how thoughtful and detail-oriented she is. I proceeded to get a few different quotes, as I did for all facets of my wedding. Fab Flora was certainly not the most inexpensive quote, nor was it the most expensive. Prices were a tad on the high side, in my opinion, but I felt that the service I would get and the trust I had in Jori was worth it. We had a couple consultations, one over the phone and one in-person. I told her my vision and shared some of my Pinterest photos with her. What resulted was exactly what I asked for, and tears filled my eyes when I saw my bouquet the day of. It was perfect. The boutonnieres were also lovely, as were the corsages for the moms and grandmothers, and the aisle flowers. It was important to my husband and me to not have a lot of flower waste, and Jori had some great suggestions. All the bouquets were repurposed into centerpieces for the reception. She also was able to provide a beautiful arch for our ceremony with asymmetrical floral details. She chose flowers that were in season and local, which was another selling point for us.
