Planning a wedding from another state is stressful enough, but working with Fleur de Lis (Ryan- the manager) made everything so easy and effortless! I found Fleur de Lis on Yelp and was wowed by all the 5 star ratings! I am so thankful for Ryan and his team! Ryan and I had a meeting over the phone to discuss what I was envisioning for the big day, and my budget. I sent over a few Pinterest photos, and the rest was history! It was truly that easy! Ryan communicated every step of the way and was very responsive! The bouquets were delivered directly to the hotel in glass vases (complimentary), which we were able to use as table centerpieces for the wedding reception. I received a TON of compliments on the bridal bouquets and boutonnières! The flowers lasted all day in the heat, and according to my bridesmaids their bouquets are still nice and green 4 days later! Overpriced but beautiful quality and design. That said, I did not get what felt fair for the cost. The below was a $235 order that totalled $310+ after all the fees. Certainly expected more for that amount of $. These were ordered for Valentine's Day which does run up the cost of the florals for anyone. New Additional information: This shop called and was very concerned about this problem. They take pride in their offerings and their quality. They called and sent a note to follow up to the above as well. They offered a few suggestions on rectifying the situation. They were under no obligation to do so. The flowers are beautiful and beautifully arranged. The issue was the value, but no issue with the beauty of it. Long story short, we resolved this graciously, and I will most certainly try them again. How nice to feel a personal touch from a business these days. read more

Ordered some flowers online for my cousin to celebrate Mother's Day. The flowers came when they were supposed to and they were really very gorgeous, fresh flowers! Well put together. However the prices are def on the higher side. I ordered the petite low lush bouquet in a vase which was $95. The total including delivery cost, tip and tax was $135. Def on the higher end for price compared to other floral shops I've frequented, but I appreciate how professional they were and their attention to detail. read more

I have tried to avoid the online national flower order companies and use only local florists but when I tried to place an order here this AM for a funeral that was happening at a church around the corner from the shop the woman was (a) unfriendly and seemed annoyed that I was ordering the day before the funeral (sorry that deaths aren't planned) (b) didn't care that the order was going close by ("yeah, the driver will find it") and (c) gave me an $85 minimum - significantly more than the online chains. Soooo I'll be ordering from 1800 Flowers or somewhere similar. read more

I have ordered from many shops and had never been offered this. If I need chicago delivery again, FDL will be my first call! NOTE/constructive feedback...
