Wowza! I'm in town for a conference and when I checked in this stunning bouquet was waiting for me. The blossoms were still closed a bit at the beginning and continue to open during the week. Unfortunately what I received was, at best, a $10 bouquet I could have picked up from Mariano's. To say I'm disappointed is an under statement. I wanted to send flowers to a friend staying at a local Chicago hotel. There was a misunderstanding about my order. When I called back to straighten it out Maria was unbelievably wonderful. She insisted on redoing the order and delivering it herself to the hotel without charging a delivery fee. Simply the best! This afternoon I had the pleasure of receiving a floral arrangement from Jolie Fleur for my birthday-eve (yes, that is a thing). The presentation is impeccable and I know from my past experiences with arrangements from Jolie Fluer that these blooms will last. My boyfriend wanted me to pick out some flowers for my birthday and brought me to Jolie Fleur so that I could have some input on the arrangement, bouquet or type of flowers I'd like. Initially, we were expecting a storefront but realised later that they have recently moved to a studio to specialise in customised orders. The studio by North Wabash was one of those creative spaces with plenty of sunlight peering in and it seemed like a great place for a true artist to practise / refine her craft. When we first met Maria, we could immediately tell she was someone that cared deeply about her customers. She had her hands full from carrying a potted plant and fresh white orchids, mentioning that she was helping a long-time customer replace the flowers on the plant. She apologised profusely for the wait as she looked for a parking space and tried to transport these (which we of course didn't mind!). Once in her studio, we told her that we had a look at the website and narrowed it down to a few floral arrangements (though at that point in time we didn't really have anything specific in mind and was looking to her for suggestions). Maria, in full swing, completely understood our preferences and began putting together ideas and the type of flowers that she would use to create the beautiful arrangement we envisioned. She was also kind enough to offer free delivery because of the wait, so that I didn't have to go all the way down to collect and carry the plant home on my own. Given that we were so last-minute on our order, we did not expect to receive the flowers until the next day. To our surprise, we received the flowers later the same afternoon. We were already in complete awe when we saw how exquisite the flowers were, but to add to that, Maria was so sweet that she even included a complimentary cute little pot of pink roses with a heartfelt card sending her birthday wishes! It was an absolutely wonderful service. We will definitely be using her again and recommending her to others. read more

We planned a 75th birthday dinner at Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone Crab where Jolie Fleur was recommended to us. I really can't say enough good things about the three fabulous table arrangements! They were absolutely perfect!! Over the top service!! I placed an order online to deliver an arrangement to my girlfriend to cheer her up. As soon as I placed it I realized that there was a typo in the message. I called the number on the website, expecting to be put through to a machine so I could leave a message. Instead, Maria picked up the phone to my surprise because it was 5 in the morning! She was very gracious and was more than happy to help. She even asked for extra information to make sure everything went smoothly. Our concierge suggested this place to us when Ashland Addison florist delivered the wrong flowers claiming they were out of season and unavailable. These flowers were exactly what my boyfriend wanted for me and included my favorites that were out of season south of the the Chicago river. Beautiful flowers. About 1/2 were opened the other half on their way. They filled the hotel room with great smell !!!!! So it was real hard saying goodbye to my man for his third tour to Afghanistan, but having our weekend together and these wonderful flowers delivered by people who care was just awesome. Worse, I don't think they were a good match to the picture on the website--more sparse with less roses and no green filer. Ordered flowers for my moms birthday while she was visiting Chicago. Picked Jolie Fleur due to location in proximity to hotel they were staying at and great yelp reviews! Asked for purple and some tropical and was given a price quote of $75 for the smaller size. Called Saturday morning (day of delivery) to check on delivery time (just so I could know when to make sure I could make sure my dad knew) and was told they'd be leaving shop in 20 minutes. Less then an hour later the same employee (owner?) called me back and let me know that the flowers had been delivered at the concierge at the hotel and would be put in her room. I immediately heard from my mom who said she was the talk of the staff and LOVED the flowers. I couldn't be happier with Jolie Fleur's service. They are exceptionally satifactory and contrary to what other reviewers seem to be reading, only 2 to 3 reviews are 2 years old and I can attest that the staff are all the same its ever been.
