The only other location was in Oklahoma but they closed it down practically a decade ago, so Denton is the only location now. It's located near/on UNT's campus so parking is extremely limited and there's construction going on around the restaurant. I love that Crooked Crust offers unlimited toppings for no additional price and that there's so many different sauces and toppings to choose from. I will say that the pizza is thinner than it used to be (it was always fairly thin, but still had some weight to it. Now it's practically thin crust or at least it was when I went recently.) I also noticed that the 50% military discount has been changed, but that's to be expected, especially post-Covid. Either way, Crooked Crust is still a family favorite and I'll pretty much always stop by when I'm passing through Denton. Customer service is great at this location also and every time I've stopped by during the day, it's practically impossible empty so service is quick.

When it's fresh, it does have a decent flavor, with a light amount of sauce and a good layer of cheese. That said, it doesn't really have much crust or crunch. We made reservations. They probably were not needed for the night we were there, but I could see this place filling up quickly on some nights. The restaurant has a cozy retro vibe with MTV videos playing behind the bar and splashes of color throughout. Our server was super friendly and attentive, and the speed of the service was fantastic! Graffiti Pasta specializes in unique, delicious cocktails. There are no beers on tap (just cans), and my husband would have liked to have Peroni on tap even if that were the only choice. I enjoyed two of their cocktail which were both excellent. Our food was delicious and just the right amount of food. We left the restaurant satisfied without feeling like gluttons. Their stuffed mushrooms with filled with a creamy ricotta, the Banksy's Baked Ziti was delicious, and the homemade spaghetti was a special treat. I loved the build your own pasta options, And OMG at their rolls! SO good! Everything was wonderful and truly made for a great dining experience. It might have taken a while for us to find Graffiti Pasta...but we will definitely be back soon!

Carbs have never been this much fun…read more Graffiti Pasta is one of my favorite comfort food spots in Denton. The atmosphere is colorful, upbeat, and full of personality, making it just as fun as the food itself. The house-made pasta is absolutely worth the hype. You can taste the difference, and every bowl is fresh, flavorful, and the kind of meal that has you planning your next visit before you've finished this one. Great food, great vibes, and all the carbs your heart could ever want. What's not to love?

This was the next closest non chain pizza place we could find so we decided to give it a try and we were SO glad we did. We sat at the bar. The bartender (I think his name was Brad) was friendly and personable and made some fabulous menu suggestions. We started with the potato chip chicken strips. They were fantastic. The seasoning in the batter was spot on, and they were piping hot and perfectly crispy. I ordered the Maurice salad, something I had never heard of. It was a very busy salad, lots of different flavors going on, but I am here to tell you it was one of the best salads I have ever had in my life. I am already trying to figure out when I can go back and order it again. Hubs got pizza, half Texas sweet heat and half mobster. Definitely one of the best pizzas we've ever had, you could tell they use top notch ingredients. It's rare we have such a great experience entirely "by accident". We can't wait to go back! Maybe next time I'll remember to get pictures :)

These guys did a phenomenal job serving my Girlfriend and I. Our server Kendrick (I believe that was his name) performed nothing short of a service-worker miracle by taking one look at my Girlfriend's ID and addressing her by name for the remainder of our stay. After I'd given him my card to pay, he returned with a "Have a good night Patrick." Kendrick's talents are wasted as a server, he needs to become the charismatic Mayor of a medium sized town as soon as possible. The pizza came out rather slowly but that's to be expected from all Mellows, perfection takes time. I'd place the décor at a solid 5/10 relative to other Mellows, with nothing to make them stand out except for the boot chandelier-- never seen that before at the other 5 I've been to.
