Stopped by Roly Poly a week ago to grab lunch with one of my vegetarian best friends and have to say thank you Yelp for leading me to this wonderful kind of hole in the wall establishment! I got the chicken pesto warm pressed roll and my friend got something with like avocado, can't really remember the name, but we both were really satisfied with the meal! The chicken pesto was so good and I know for a fact my friend went back a couple days later to eat there again. This place is convenient for SMU students because it's right by campus and the service is speedy. It's also relatively affordable, and they have good flavor combinations. The only part I'm not a fan of is the wraps they use for their sandwiches, because I find them to be dry and bland. They make the sandwich taste more like a quesadilla than a sandwich IMO. If they would switch to a different wrap or even bread, I think it would make a significant difference in the overall taste. read more

They have so many options, it's overwhelming. I've never had a bad experience here; they always make the perfectly filling rolled sandwich for me. I can't even begin to list off my favorites, you just have to go and check it out for yourself. There is something for everyone. I stopped by here on the way to pick up a few items at Luke's Locker next door. They are fairly busy during the lunch hour, but not too crazy. They have a variety of wraps here, salads and even gluten free options. You can choose a half or full order...a half of a wrap comes with chips and a drink for under 8 bucks. Not too shabby. There are also calorie counts of every item on the menu. I put my order in and came back 5 minutes later and it was ready. Love the smoked turkey wrap with the spicy honey mustard. Roly Poly is one of my favorite guilt-free lunch spots. It's certainly a hell-of-a wrap joint. The Philly Steak wrap and the Monster Fajita wrap are two of my favorites. I also get the Slim Buffalo Chicken wrap every once in a while. All are very good, and trust me...the menu doesn't stop there. From Hot wraps to Cold wraps to customized wraps, Roly Poly can craft something that personally appeals to your unique palate. A few more noteworthy elements of this restaurant: Roly Poly delivers! You can also order online and request your food to be ready by a specific time (great for workdays). Staff is VERY generous with the punch cards, it's not too difficult to earn a free wrap. Vicki had a Living Social coupon for Roly Poly that was expiring this week so we decided to make the long haul down there from Plano for lunch yesterday. We walked in and it was crowded but the guy behind the counter was quick to notice that we were obviously new and probably had a look of shock in our eyes looking at the expansive menu. He first helped Vicki decide on the Pesto Chicken and after narrowing it down to three items I chose the daily special which was the Black & Blue but I ordered it "hot". We found a table outside on an absolutely beautiful day in January... and they brought our order out to our table. One bite and I was hooked. YUM! Roast Beef, Bacon, Tomato, Blue Cheese, Spicy Basil Mayo. A soft drink and salt & vinegar chips and I was set for a great lunch that only cost me the gas money to get there .. {have I mentioned I love Living Social? Groupon? etc.} I brought back a few of the catering menus and they said they would deliver all the way up in Plano for a minimum order. I don't think we have enough people in our office to spend that much, but the next time we have a meeting with a bunch of people out of town, I might just have to order from here. read more

I love wraps but am never really sure where to go to get one, so the concept of this place was enough to get me excited . It was difficult to choose what to order because they have so many different options for wraps as well as an option to customize one. Not gonna lie , just about everything sounded good . I was just introduced to this place a month ago and I have been for lunch at least twice a week. There are several varieties to choose from and I have not met one I did not like. There used to be a pretty extensive chain of locations for Roly Poly in the DFW area but over the years, I've watched as each of my favorite locations close their doors and reopen as Subways or Quiznos :( Then one day, we happened to be driving down Mockingbird and I saw a sign that said "Roly Poly". My boyfriend looked at me as though I was delusional as I jumped up and down in the passenger seat of his car and squealed "roly poly roly poly!!" excitedly. Considering we just finished a huge lunch, he promised we would go the next time we were in the area to satisfy my demands and find out for himself what was great enough to get his little chinita bouncing in her seat. Nice guy that he is, he kept his promise. I ordered my favorite "Turkey Applejack" (sliced turkey, mushrooms, onions, applebutter and comes with a horseradish dipping sauce) and he had the buffalo chicken. His was OK. Mine was as delicious as I remember :) Their hot wraps aka "sandwiches" are delicious and the service is speedy. Roly Poly's menu has a few items with the word Sandwich on it, but their formula for a Sandwich = Boring != Wrap = Fun = Sandwich, so remember that :) A whole store dedicated for wraps, what a concept! So if you are in the mood to eat a boring sandwich, look elsewhere. But if you like Wraps, you are at the right place! We have been to this location twice already. The service is great and the staff actually remembers you given that it is next to SMU where thousands of students probably frequent the place. How often do you get that kind of a treatment these days? Or maybe we are just so special.. We ordered a Chicken Pesto wrap which comes heated and pressed. And we also tried the Delhi Chicken with Avocado which is a cold Wrap. Both were great choices and feel fairly healthy compared to other fast food places. Both of these Wraps are quite large so they can easily be shared by two people. I look forward to trying more of the items on their menu whenever we are strapped for time and feel like eating a fun Sandwich :) read more

About once a month, I get a hankering for Roly Poly. I order the same thing every time- Texas Tuna Melt, no bacon. Only once did they deliver it to me with bacon on it. Annoyed, I trashed the sandwich, but that didn't stop me from getting my usual hankering the following month and ordering again. It's a solid wrap. The ingredients are fresh and they get you in and out pretty quickly. I had these guys come and cater an event and they did a great job coming in and setting up. The delivery driver was thorough in answering any questions about the food. Tips: You don't want to eat here, too small. Eat outside or take it home. Staff was very friendly. Got a Philly cheese wrap 12 inch meal (chips and drink ) Just over $10 bucks with tax Sandwich was good but the ends barely had any stuff in them. If it was filled all the way it would have filled me up. The ends were not folded so not sure why they were virtually empty. When I spend $10 on lunch I expect to be somewhat full but I left hungry. Roly Poly is my original food addiction. I try to eat relatively healthy, and even the wraps that aren't notably low-calorie are still better for you (and more tasty, in my opinion) than a plateful of grease that will ultimately create nothing but a mountain of guilt and solid grease rock in your stomach. I actually happened upon Roly Poly when they opened a store in Lubbock when I was at Texas Tech. It was during my "I'm obsessed with eating no carbs" phase (which lasted about two weeks) but I soon learned that carbs or not, this place rocks. When I moved to Dallas I first lived near Arlington, and they had one relatively close to my apartment, but it closed down since. I thought my days of Roly Poly was over...until I realized there's one almost within walking distance of my new place. Cue the choir of angels. By far, my favorite sandwich is the Basil Cashew Chicken. I think I may have eaten one every day for about three weeks, give or take a day here and there. Other awesome choices are the Chicken Cordon Bleu, Chicken Popper, Thanksgiving (sounds weird, but sooooo good! Especially in the fall), Tuscan Turkey, Ranch Roast, Porky's Nightmare and for those vegetarians out there, try the California Hummer. Yummmmmm. I actually think the wraps are pretty big...I normally get a full one and put half in the fridge. In all honestly, the only reason I knocked off a star is because I checked their site and a few of the other franchise locations have Pinkberry-style frozen yogurt called RolyYo. WTF ROLY POLY?!?! Why you holding out on me?! Probably cause they know if they installed a frozen yogurt machine I'd set up residence and never leave. Check it out, it's a great little spot. If you're super low on cash, just grab a half wrap and a water, most of the half wraps are $4.25 or less. read more

This place is somewhat hidden. Whew! We were overwhelmed by the menu.There are so many options!!! We've tried both the hot pressed wraps as well as the salads. Both the wraps and the salads haven't failed us yet. This is definitely and pick-up and go place as seating is very limited- 4 small tables (2 outside and 2 inside). I also love the fact that they have calories listed next to the sandwiches. Most of the items on the menu are around 400-600 calories. It's great for those who are health conscious! Other staff were equally polite. However, the quality of ingredients was subpar. The price point matched up to the food, so I guess if cost supersedes everything else it may not be a bad choice. A wonderful option to the fast lunch standard burger and fries. These wraps are wonderful. I bought 3 full size #10s and took them to my students (12). We sliced them up for a class snack, and everyone loved it. Too bad there aren't more locations! Every neighborhood should have a Roly Poly. I will caution against buying a bag of the baked chips. I was shocked to open the bag and find maybe 5 crushed chips at the bottom of the bag. That was it. Fluke? Maybe. Stick to the wraps. You can't go wrong. read more

I ordered Roly Poly through Grub Hub for delivery to my hotel. I was looking for something healthy, delicious and Gluten Free due to intolerance. I ordered 2 to meet the delivery requirements. The first one, hot gluten Free fajita vegtables was exactly what I wanted! It light, tasty and not heavy on my waistline. It came with a side of salsa for dipping and it was easy to eat. The Gluten free tortilla after being heated up, was pliable and tasty. The second one, was a custom cold veggie with provolone, hummus and balsamic vinegarette. The veggies were fresh and delicious and it was a large salad wrap. The GF tortilla, however, kind of fell apart and and wasn't my favorite, but at home, you need to warm up GF tortillas to taste good. I would only order a hot wrap next time if you are going with this tortilla choice. Overall, delicious, healthy, and GF(guilt free and gluten free). read more

Have frequented this establishment several times and I keep coming back for more. Today I discovered the breakfast menu and since it was my first meal of the day I indulged in the "Farmers Omelette" (minus mushrooms). There are 8 breakfast choices in addition to the regular menu.
