Recently dropped my 2025 truck off for a service transmission warning. The drop off was for a known…read moreissue that we investigated a week prior. It ended up being a sensor. I dropped it off on Tuesday and didn't get much communication. Called to get a status and I had to talk to a machine because this dealership won't even spring for a receptionist. I'm giving four stars because after the conversation, the communication dramatically improved and I picked my vehicle up the next day. I'm not sure I can pin the delays on the service writer because I know vehicles can get stuck in never never land in the shop. Jesse finished the race properly and I commend him for that. He doesn't have an easy job. I definitely recommend getting rid of the AI receptionist. I definitely recommend having a small loaner fleet for the customers that drive your 60+ thousand dollar vehicles. It's not like GMC is not compensating the dealership for loaners. Nobody wants to drive to a rental car company in an Uber and fill out a bunch of paperwork for an overnight loaner. It might be convenient for the dealership, but it's not convenient for the customer. I definitely recommend getting some type of auto update texting app that other dealerships have, that makes you aware of the repair process at each stage. I do not recommend making customers bringing brand new vehicles in for warranty work sign an estimated cost of repairs. It made me uncomfortable, and I can't be the only one. I recommend that you don't offer people discounts on the GMC app when they schedule their appointments, and then make them fill out a bunch of paperwork to receive these discounts via a prepaid debit card... you don't do that when you're selling new trucks with rebates. your team is only as good as their leader. People hate gimmicks, and people hate being nickel and dimed. I think a few of these problems are coming from the top not from your service writers. I have a supreme respect for people that shoot me straight with no nonsense. I would encourage your dealership to reevaluate the way you process the service department experience. We declined, only the oil change this time. When it came time to pay we were notified there would be an additional fee if credit card was used. This is not posted anywhere and we were not informed prior to the service performed. It felt a bit deceptive. We covered our service in cash but if you had an extensive service, this could be a huge surprise. Please do your customers and your service associates a favor and post there are additional fees for making purchases with a credit card.

I had sought out a particular Ferrari and finally found one of interest; the problem was, it was over 500 miles away in Southern California (I live in Northern California). However, even if the vehicle was in the area, I would still need to perform some type of due diligence in order to assure I was purchasing a sound/functional vehicle. That said, I found Ferrari of Rancho Mirage only 20 minutes away from where the vehicle resided and made an appointment for a Pre-Purchase Inspection (cost $740). Days later, I was contacted by the Service Manager/Jenna Cascio and told the vehicle was in good condition, although it still needed some suspension work and to replace a few leaking seals. With this endorsement in hand, I purchased the Ferrari and had it shipped to Northern California. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed the following: * No AC * No headlights * Windshield wipers inoperable * Antenna won't retract * Parking brake won't hold * Tachometer won't go above 2,000 * Windows require manual intervention to operate * Each door lock is keyed differently and neither works with the keys * Erratic Idle/RPM * Rear shocks leaking * Fuel leaks * Oil leaking from bell housing/main seal For those of you not familiar with cars, most of these items (some safety-related) would have been easy to identify by either pushing some buttons in the driver's compartment or readily visible with the vehicle up on a car lift). THE TOTAL COST OF RECTIFYING THESE ISSUES HAS RESULTED IN A REPAIR BILL EXCEEDING $30,000! Of course, I was less than pleased and contacted the Ferrari of Rancho Mirage. While they were willing to refund my $740, they were totally unwilling to accept any responsibility for their obvious mechanical oversights...essentially just patting me on the head and hoping I would just go away! Well, $30,000 is a huge chunk of change and I wasn't willing to go away quietly. I contacted the Customer Care Manager and Customer Service Department for Ferrari and both told me the COO of Ferrari of Rancho Mirage/LAPIS - Mark Venti would be my main contact for resolving this issue. However, after numerous attempts to contact Mr Venti to resolve this issue, my communiques (email, as well as certified mail) has fallen on deaf ears - NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER. While it took every fiber of my being while writing this, I have refrained from utilizing 4-letter expletives to portray my displeasure, although a $30,000+ bill to cover their mistakes is pretty close to a living hell. In short, BEWARE of Ferrari of Rancho Mirage and the LAPIS Dealership Group, as they do not have your back! I would highly recommend you seek out alternatives to a LAPIS Dealership including Ferrari of Rancho Mirage!

A Lemon I purchased a new Land Rover Evoque (a sales floor…read moremodel) from Land Rover Rancho Mirage in 2022. Within one year, it experience multiple overheating warnings, each time (4) returning it to the dealer. Each time, they returned the vehicle saying nothing was wrong or couldn't find an issue. On the 5th time, they kept the vehicle for several weeks, saying they needed to order and replace multiple engine parts from Europe because the engine coolant was leaking into the exhaust. The vehicle was under 30k miles. All of this with no regard for my personal safety. Since then, the vehicle has continued to show overheating warnings, multiple paint and interior issues. When I contacted Land Rover/Jaguar about my concern and issues, they offered $2500 toward a new purchase. I have contacted a Lemon Law attorney now and Land Rover/Jaguar is telling the court it was never their responsibility. BUYER BEWARE, DO NOT PURCHASE A LAND ROVER.

I told the salesperson that I was there to look at this particular car. Immediately he said it was sold. Then I asked how long ago it sold...because it was still posted. He said a couple of days ago. Then he said hold on let me check. He went to the back hallway and asked this other guy if he sold the car. Things got a little quieter and I couldn't hear what they were talking about...but the conversation was a little long for a simple yes or no question....is the car sold ? He came back out and told me he thinks it's still there. He said he had to find the keys and would bring it around to the front. He did. I took a look ...I was interested . I noticed that there had been a sticker that was removed from the window ..still had the glue mark on the glass. Important clue for me. I asked if I could drive the car and he said he would have to ask his manager. Weird..but ok. Got in to drive and I was told I couldn't leave the parking lot area. Even stranger. Said it had to be saftey checked. It had already been posted online and on the floor. But if I was interested it still needed to be finished being checked. And wouldn't be available yet but I could start the process. This was BS for sure. So I said I'm interested...but only if we could do a little better deal. He said sure let's go in and talk about it. He asked me did I have the online price and could I pull it up on my phone...I said yes . This is their site ....he knows the price. This is where everything starts to crumble for me. He's talking too much. Side tracking. And I'm trying to put all of these things together....it just started to feel off. He kept telling me all of these things that you get when you buy a used car from them. A year warranty / first service ...blah blah blah. And this is why..... I asked before we run my credit....by the way excellent....wasn't worried about that. I wanted to know what the cost would be for the car. He talks about writing down a price going to his manager coming back to me....that same crap. I don't do the back and forth. What's the price that you want for the car. And then....out of his pocket he pulls out a crumpled sticker....the one he obviously pulled off the window before he brought it around to the front. It had an additional couple thousand added to the online price ....it was all their add ons . No Way. It's a used car. Total bait . Car dealerships need to stop this crap. I was asked how much I would give. I said I would give 1000 less than the online price...plus tax and license. They said no. The problem for them was I would have given the full online price except for the fact that they tried to play me...and I felt slighted by that. I agree with Tony L's review. Spot on. And I definitely agree with S.W. review about this particular sales person. People are in business to make money . I get that. Just before we left for our weekend getaway a slightly used 2026 840i Convertible showed up at BMW of Palm Springs. Made an appointment and spoke with Valentino and Angel who were more than accommodating and while they worked hard to close the deal (not overly pushy AT ALL) we were clear we were in the area for Family and weren't going to take away from those plans by a lengthy purchase process but we'd be happy to come back the following weekend to purchase the car for the agreed upon price. I contacted them several times during the week to make sure the car was still available which it was, and on Friday we completed all necessary paperwork remotely. We drove out on Saturday morning as agreed and finished the purchase in a very pleasant and enjoyable (at a dealer no less!) experience with Valentino and a very pleasant David, the finance representative. We had one minor issue with the connection of our phone when we got home and I could not figure it out. I was about to go to my local dealer begging for some help and low and behold a representative called asking if we had any questions/issues. I explained the problem whereupon he suggested a head unit reset and it worked perfectly and we were able to reconnect and all is very very well now! I'm truly a bit disappointed we don't live in the area to continue our relationship, but I guarantee when we're back in the area we'll be stopping in to say hello and thank them for such a great experience!

Absolutely the worst sales experience I've ever had, especially when spending more than $150,000 on…read morea new vehicle. I purchased a new 2026 Porsche from Flora Lopez, whose manager was Alex Reath. The vehicle was delivered to my home with an airbag warning light already illuminated. Flora told me not to worry and described it as a simple sensor issue. The dealership now insists that they disclosed the warning-light issue to me before delivery. What they leave out is that I was only told about it on the SAME DAY the vehicle was being delivered, when I was already committed to the transaction. I also have records of the communications describing it as a simple issue. Had I been told that my brand-new Porsche could potentially spend three weeks or more in a service center immediately after delivery, I certainly would have handled the situation differently. Instead of taking the vehicle back and correcting the problem themselves before completing delivery, I was left to arrange the repair through my local Porsche dealership. A replacement part had to be ordered from Germany. After waiting for the part, my local dealership determined that it did not fix the problem and that the issue was more significant than I had originally been told. What was presented as a simple sensor issue has now resulted in my brand-new Porsche being in the shop for more than four (4) weeks, with the final repair timeline still uncertain. During a phone conversation with Flora and her manager, I specifically questioned how a brand-new Porsche could require weeks of service immediately after delivery. Alex told me that this was "not uncommon." I actually asked him again to make sure I understood what he was saying: Is it really not uncommon for a brand-new Porsche to be delivered and then have to go into a service center for repairs? His answer was yes. That response was astonishing to me. Meanwhile, I'm making loan payments and paying insurance on a $150,000+ vehicle that I cannot drive, while the loaner provided to me is nowhere near comparable to the vehicle I purchased. The dealership initially offered me $1,000 for the inconvenience. On September 16, after learning from Porsche Downtown Los Angeles that the vehicle would require substantially more time to repair, I texted Flora and explained that I no longer believed $1,000 was reasonable compensation given the length of time I had been without my new vehicle. Her response was extremely cold, and she declined to discuss it further. Since then, I have texted again and called, but I have not received a return call. Unfortunately, this is consistent with my experience throughout this transaction. On multiple occasions I was told someone would call me back or check in with me, only for that call never to happen. Note, I never called them often. My experience with the financing process was equally concerning. Finance manager Adam Avalo added an additional $5,000 to the amount being financed without my authorization. When I questioned it, I was told the $5,000 would simply be returned to me separately. That would have left the additional $5,000 included in my loan, potentially resulting in my paying interest on money I never agreed to finance. I found this completely unacceptable. I have since shared what happened with people at other dealerships, and the reaction has consistently been surprise that this was my experience purchasing a new Porsche. That is particularly disappointing because I expected Porsche's reputation and brand to represent a much higher standard of professionalism, transparency, quality control, and customer care. This experience has felt nothing like the "white glove" treatment one would expect when purchasing a Porsche--particularly a vehicle costing more than $150,000. From delivering a new vehicle with an active airbag warning, to minimizing the problem, to the financing issue, to the lack of follow-up once the situation became more serious, virtually every stage of this transaction has been disappointing. There are many Porsche dealerships in Southern CA. Do not consider this. I have escalated the matter to Porsche and hope they will provide an appropriate resolution. I will update this review based on how the situation is ultimately handled.
