I was having electrical issues with my 2001 Mercedes 320SLK. I didn't want to take it to the dealer, so I tried Frank's Auto Care. He was Albee to correctly diagnose the problem, but candidly told me his expertise was in Audis. He recommended another shop nearby. He worked on the diagnosis for a day but refused to charge me. My experience with Frank's Auto was great. He is honest and forthright in dealing with customers. Over his objections, I gave him a generous contribution as a payment for his time, effort, and honesty. If I owned an Audi, I'd have him take care of it. read more

I called in this morning after canvassing the top-rated auto mechanics on Yelp to re-charge by AC system. Frank was to the point on what he would do and offered a very competitive price - then proceeded to schedule me that same day! Franks work was above and beyond the repair, looking at a suspect loose front end issue for me, unrelated to the AC refresh. He snugged up a few things and got the job done in record time - two hours from the time I called in to completion! I can't say enough good things about this honest, hard working professional. I had recently, lost confidence in the mechanic/tire shop which I have used to service my Lexus ES 350. Frank Banuelos was recommended to me by my neighbor and I took the car to Frank for a second opinion after the previous shop had recommended multiple services and items following an oil change. Frank worked for an auto dealership for years and decided to open his own shop. Frank replaced my front CV axel with complete and new parts and did a free inspection after which he said that I did not need the front and rear struts replaced (as was recommended by the previous mechanic) That saved me more than $1400.00 of unnecessary work and I will always be grateful to this honest man, Frank Banuelos.
