Wow wow and wow! The look of this place is incredible. Roll ice cream is deliciously prepared with topping and uniquely arranged for visual appeal. Super delicious. I think it's a family run operation and they're very friendly. And just two blocks from where I live, a fun stop. I wish I could give it more stars!

Excellent, artistic and creative ice cream with fixings like roasted marshmallows, brownies and pretzel sticks. Super nice owners, Barbie and David.

Although we didn't go to their place in Williamsburg, we stumbled upon their booth at a local smorgasburg in Prospect Park. There were a handful of people in line and the ice cream being prepared looked really good so we definitely wanted to give it a try. I forgot the name of what we had but it was absolutely delicious -- something with coconut and passion fruit. The flame torched marshmallow was also a great add. I really look forward to having more of their flavors. I love how they mix up the ingredients and then roll up the ice cream. You taste the flavors and layers with each bite.

So happy they opened up on my corner! Such a fun concept and the ice cream is really good to boot. I had the triple chocolate and it was delicious, such a cute presentation. My husband had the salty sweet, he finished it before I could have a bite so I guess his was good too. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Stopped by today during their soft opening and am really excited to see what they roll out for their grand opening. Had two flavors ( sweet and salty and pumpkin chai) and both were great. Very friendly staff and a lot of fun to watch!

If you're craving something sweet, creamy and rich you need to stop by! Had the Triple Chocolate and Salty Caramel on the buy 1 get 1 Free promotion. They both did not disappoint. Would love to see some simple kid friendly options in the future.

Super cool vibes. Came here with my family for rolled ice cream. A new cool way to prepare the ice cream. I ordered their new flavor, balsamic strawberry ice cream topped with ganola. Btw, everything here is homemade in small batches, all natural ingredients.

    Yums!

Yum!!! This is a dangerous place to have across the street from where I work haha. It's so fun to watch them roll up the ice cream & it sure is delicious!

There really is nothing like a fresh Taiyaki fish shaped waffle cone…read more Taiyaki NYC is the original shop/location that made this type of waffle ice cream cone popular over 10 years ago. The soft serve ice cream here is far above average making the experience all around amazing. A favorite menu item of mine is their small custard or red bean filled fish waffles. They are made to order & soooo good! Do not try & order these before closing because they will say no! This is a grab & go type of business. There are no tables for dining in. Street parking is free & on typical NYC/Little Italy/Chinatown parking. I have had good luck when arriving as late as possible. One of my favorite spots. I hope it never closes. Especially since Williamsburg location no longer exists!!

The ice cream is thick and creamy but not as rich as American brands. The hojicha flavor is strong and really good and was definitely the dominant flavor, so the matcha got a little lost. The red bean was buried at the bottom of the cone but was good too. The taiyaki cone wasn't that great. I could taste salt, it wasn't sweet, and the batter had a bit too much flour. The texture was very crispy though which I did love. The rainbow mochi was tasty, soft, and you could taste the different flavors. The wafer stick was unnecessary. We both prefer Somi Somi, which is also dairy free, but I will say their hojicha is worth trying.

We tried the melon shaved ice $22 for the large which was a bit pricy but it was quite delicious. We were worried that the large might be too much for two people but honestly we were able to finish it without a problem. The melon pieces were sweet, the ice is milk based so it was creamy and flavorful on its own. We barely used the condensed milk that it came with (and we loved how they put it on the side for us instead). At the bottom of the shaved ice was cereal pieces and mochi which gave a nice different texture. We also tried their drinks specifically their blue lemonade and mango-ade which I thought was just ok. The highlight is definitely their shaved ice. Definitely go for the large as the small seemed much smaller and for double the price, you can get almost 2-3x more. Overall: it's a great place to grab a shaved ice and relax . The atmosphere is chill and you can stay without feeling rushed.

This was definitely anything but a Sweet Moment…read more I came here fully influenced by Instagram and TikTok. The shaved ice looked dreamy, fluffy, and full of flavor. What I got instead was a cup of sadness with commitment issues. The shaved ice somehow had no flavor. None. I have had ice cubes straight from my freezer with more personality. Easily the most disappointing dessert I have had in NYC, and I have been living here my whole life, so please take that as you will. I kept waiting for the "sweet moment" to arrive and it never did. Just me, flavorless ice, and regret. If you are craving dessert, keep walking. This was a moment, yes, but sweet it was not.

I tried coming here on a Sunday afternoon and the line was much too long - so I went to Go Greek instead (review for that coming up). I tried again the following day (Monday) at about 4pm in the afternoon. There's still a line, but not quite as long- I usually hate waiting (which New Yorker doesn't) but I figured let's just see. The line moved pretty quickly, and you're given samples once inside. The ambience is very trendy, with some benches to sit, and the tiniest little tables at some of the benches. It's not a place to bring your work to. Don't expect to be able to hang around for very long. The yogurt is self serve, and with a selection of toppings. I got the original tart flavor and raspberry. Tried the passionfruit which was alright. Its tart is more creamy than at Culture or Go Greek. Overall it was good, nothing extraordinary. Forty Carrots and Culture are still my favorites. I would come back if I'm in the area, but wouldn't wait in line for it again.
