I removed a previous review to update my experience with Mike and his team at Rolliworks...
I recently sent my Explorer II for servicing, cleaning, polishing, etc. this was the 2nd or 3rd time sending my watch to Mike to service. Previously, I was blown away by how amazing my watch looked and performed when I got it back. This time, however, I personally felt like it just didn't live up to my previous experience with his service. I reached out to Mike and took the time to call me and discuss this over the phone instead of going back and forth via email.
Though we disagreed on certain details of my specific experience, Mike offered to redo my servicing (free of charge to me) if I sent the watch back to him. I was hesitant, but I wanted to give him a chance to make good on his word since was always pleased with their work before. First thing you need to understand is that for this kind of work to be done it takes time. I knew that going in so I left him to work on my watch at his pace to make sure it was done right.
I received my watch today...by the way, he goes through extreme measures to ensure safety when shipping watches back and forth... and it is INCREDIBLE. Just like my experience in the past, my 15+ year old watch came back looking brand new! I wanted to immediately change my review to reflect the true quality of his work, communication, and especially customer service. Rolliworks isn't a big corporation/business. It's independently owned and Mike is the behind it all. BUT, like most businesses post-covid, he's dealing with staffing issues that make it a challenge to live up to the service his customers expect. Mike is there to pick up the slack and busts his behind to make sure no corners are cut. I appreciate that in a business owner/operator. I have ZERO hesitation to send my watch to him in the future if/when I need servicing again. Thank you Mike and RolliWorks!! read more
