Terrible service! Very unpleasant owner who had my watch for over a month to add a link that he was going to get. I went by to get it being that it had been so long and basically he just threw it down on the counter for me to get and not even an intent to see if he could help me!!! Do not go there there are many watch repair companies that have better service! read more

Great service and quality work. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to repair or polish their watch.

When it comes to things like this, I'm a very loyal customer once I find someone who does a good job and treats me right. I had been a long term patron of London Watch in Kendall before the owner decided to close up shop during Covid times, and I had been finding myself in desperate need of a place to replace and service many of my quartz watches. I have a fairly sizable collection and many had died out and needed batteries replaced, as well as a couple solar models needed new capacitors. Found this business via Yelp, and Fidel did not disappoint. He's already gotten 18 of my timepieces ticking again, and for a very fair price, as well as minimal wait on the spot (no need to drop off and pick up another day, which I dislike). Highly recommend this business and plan on continuing to give them my business as needed. read more

Watch Repair - One of my favorite Seiko Solar chronographs, which had a dead capacitor for 2-3 years before this business took care of it in five minutes. - Watch Repair Near Me - Miami, Florida

I was quoted $250.00 to fix my Seiko watch in a Palmetto Bay jewelry store who wanted to replace the entire movement. I found this company on yelp and the gentleman took the watch from me and fixed it in about 15-20 minutes and charged $210.00 less and the watch has not lost time but is now working perfectly. read more

Don't go here if you care for your watch. I took my watch to be put a new dial and bracelet. He just grabbed the watch and threw it on his counter without no soft padding. Took a week to finish something that could be done in 1 hour. Charged me a crazy amount for it and when I inspected the dial it was scratched on multiple locations. This place is trash. Stay far away from here read more

My husband took three watches in for battery replacements and had a terrible experience. The very well cared for watches were in their original cases, and my husband took them out and handed them one by one to the owner. The owner grabbed them all hurriedly and carelessly in one hand and plopped them down on the bare glass counter (no felt pad or anything). He held several watches in his hand at the same time, ours and another one brought in by another customer, and they rubbed and bumped into one another. He then handed the watches off to a woman to change the batteries. When he gave the watches back to my husband, my husband noticed that one of them was completely scratched in the back! The woman must have used something to pry it open and scratched it. My husband showed the scratches to the owner and the owner grabbed it back and unapologetically proceeded to polish the watch to try to take away the scratches. He had a terrible attitude and seemed bothered that my husband pointed out the damage. The watch is now compromised and is no longer in the pristine condition it was in when we took it in. We regret having taken it there as we take excellent care of our watches only to have someone scratch one of them up in a matter of minutes. We recommend going somewhere else for your watch repairs if you value and take care of your watches. read more

First of all, the place is located in a small shopping with very poor parking. Someone recommended this place to me knowing that I was looking for an Authorized Seiko Dealer. So I took my Seiko perpetual to this location. The watch was still ticking and keeping time. These watches when the battery is low the minute hand starts moving every 2 seconds. I told him that I need to change the battery of my watch and get it reprogramed. I hand the watch to him and I told him that it is a Seiko perpetual watch and he quickly said, I have to change the capacitor. So he quickly goes to the back with my watch and comes out and said Oh, this is a perpetual watch and I have to change the battery, really. After I told him. So he explains that he will change the battery and reprogram it, to give him a couple of days. I said ok. He sends me a text message with the repair number and to text him for the repair updates. This was on Dec 12. On the 14th, I sent a text just to know if my watch was ready for pick up. He did not text me back. On the Dec 15 I called and left a message and he texted me: "I am in the other line I'll get back to you soon." Then an hour and 15 minutes later he text me in Spanish and said that he is still "programming" my watch that he will let me know when it is ready. So I called him the next day and asked him why it is taking so long. I also said to him that the place that I used to go they would take two days max depending if they have the battery in stock. Also I told him that the other places that I've used in the 18 years that I've owned my watch that they would take no more than 2 Days. So he got all shook up and I told him that I was going to pick up my watch. When I got to the place we went back and forth on why it takes too long to change the battery and he got a little agitated, he is not good with customers. So he hands me the watch and it is not even ticking, after he had texted me saying that he was still programming my watch. Really? You can't program it if it doesn't have a battery in it. I told him to remember that my watch was still ticking when I brought it in and he tells me to go outside in the sun and see if it starts again. Wow! I really do pity this individual. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

Needed to replace the battery on 3 of my husband's Shinola watches. Neiman Marcus takes over a month to send out to repair. The Shinola store in Wynwood closed. You could send it over to corporate to have it changed, but it will take 3 weeks. I wanted to go and have it changed immediately. What a pleasant experience. Drove all the way from Miami Beach since all the reviews were positive. I gave the watches and explained what I needed. All I have to say is that by the time he was done I was still talking. Took less than 10 minutes to change all the watches. I honestly thought this would be a long process. It was not. I highly recommend this place to change the batteries on your high end watches. Owner was very pleasant explaining how this is a lost art of servicing watches. I hope they stay open forever cause they are great. read more

The perfect little neighborhood watch shop. I've gotten two different batteries repaired while I waited (five minutes). I also had a stem and a crystal replaced, though I did have to leave it for that. Pricing is great. The strip shopping center is small, and parking is limited, yet I've always been able to get a parking spot. Be sure to take a glance at the cute giant rolex watch clock on the wall. read more

When my father's Citizen Eco Drive watch stopped working I thought it was beyond repair. I was about risk sending the watch out of state to get evaluated when I decided to find someone locally who could attempt to fix it, that is when I found Mr. Galindo at Watch Repair. I searched high and low on the internet for a reputable place since the watch holds sentimental value to me. I can assure you that Watch Repair exceeded my expectations. Mr. Galindo knew exactly what was wrong with the watch within seconds of holding it and had it ready for me within a few days. When I went to pick the watch up I also had three watches that needed batteries and two of them needed to be sized. He did it on the spot. Mr. Galindo is very efficient and kind. The pricing was fair and his craftsman and knowledge is unsurpassed. read more

Let me start by saying that I collect watches, so I know my way around them. All my watches are mechanical, either hand wind or automatic. Fidel (the owner) was recommended to me by a Rolex collector, told me he was the only one who he would trust with his watches. I went one day to have a Longines serviced & Fidel really took care of me. He's been my go to guy ever since. Everyone at work knows I'm the "watch guy" & bring me their watches for simple things like sizing bracelets or battery changes....but for anything that needs a real watch professional I immediately tell them to take it to Fidel & now I'm telling you guys too. They've all come back to tell me how great the service was & how happy they are. When your fine timepieces need a service take them to Fidel. I assure you you won't be disappointed. read more

I had my Watch overhauled when all said and done it came out to over $800.00 and he gave me 1 year warrantee and the watch stopped working after 4 months. I took the watch back and now he tells me it's going to 160.00 just for the parts to repair it again. I took it to a Rolex expert and got it fixed for $30.00 Dollars. My opinion this place and the guy is a total rip-off. read more

Went to this shop, because of the excellent reviews. Bought in an antique chronograph for some work. Been collecting watches for a long time and I had some specific things that I wanted done to the watch. I know what parts it needed, etc. I usually do all of my own watch work but this one might need a little more work than I am used to, so I figured I would go see a professional. I was looking forward to developing a relationship with a local watch smith that I could use long term. Walked in the store, handed the watch to the owner, he opened the back, poked inside, closed the back and handed it to me and told me it's $400 to overhaul it. Didn't even ask me what I wanted done, which wasn't even an overhaul. The watch is running fine and the mechanism is very clean for it's age. He advised me that the watch was so old that he couldn't get the parts for it anymore. Seriously, you ever heard of Ebay? They sell them on there day and night. Not to mention all the other watch supply shops on the planet that have these items in stock. Ended up ordering the parts from Ebay. Watched a few YouTube videos and ended up doing the work myself. Overall very disappointed with this shop. Looks like they just want to make money and they assume that everyone that walks in has no clue about watches. Oh well, my search continues. read more

If you want professional, prompt, and excellent service for watches, come to this shop. I have gotten three of my watches sized with Fidel, and all three took less than five minutes and the cost for the sizings was beyond reasonable. I am somewhat of a (wannabe) watch aficionado, and the watches that I had sized were all (what I consider) somewhat high end. I was initially a bit hesitant, but as soon as I walked in and met Fidel, who was sporting a GMT Master II if I recall correctly, I knew I was in good hands. My first experience was sizing my Breitling SuperOcean II--Fidel took one look at the watch on my wrist, asked the fit that I preferred, and went to work. He was thorough and quick and my watch fit perfectly--I also have a flatter wrist and it's tricky to get the exact fit I want, but Fidel took care of it without a problem. My next watch that he sized was an Omega Aqua Terra--again, Fidel sized it perfectly and quickly. My last watch was a Tudor Black Bay, and Fidel took care of the sizing without any problem. I would trust him, when the time comes, with servicing any of my watches--he is a certified watchmaker and he knows his stuff--many of these reviews are for simple battery replacements or sizings, but I have no doubt that Fidel can work on the finest from Switzerland. I drive over 30 miles to see him, and I will continue to do so. read more

Had an awesome experience at this shop. Fidel is great. I bought a watch online that I really liked but I did not like the band it came with, so I went to this shop after reading some positive reviews here on yelp. I told Fidel what I was looking for, and I was in and out of there in literally 10 minutes. He charged me a very fair price for my new band and he threw in the installation for free. Couldn't be happier. Highly recommend. Will be going back to this shop for all my future watch repair needs. read more
