I was asking myself, am I crazy for shipping my father's Rolex from Seattle to Florida to get it fixed by a person I never met. Well now that my 50 year old Rolex got "fixed and polished" I am delighted!!! I got movement serviced, bracelet stretch serviced and new crystal. It took about 2 months to complete but worth the wait. Mike is the man!!

Absolutely fantastic work. Had sent in a recent auction purchase (a mid 80s Tudor Submariner 76100) that needed some work. The case had lost its chamfers (though wasn't badly worn down). There were some gouges. I'm a big fan of maintaining a watch's history, but with modern laser welding? I think that's going by the wayside on anything that isn't a 5 figure watch. So, when I got the Sub back, I was just astounded at how well it came out. I'll share some photos, here, but you can see that the watch's case essentially looks brand new. Look at the chamfers! Look at the work on the side of the case! Now the final step will be getting that hour hand lume matched to the rest. And, not shown, the caseback looks equally amazing. If you are looking for incredible OEM Rolex/Tudor level work? Look no further. I'd happily send in a piece in the future (and I am sure I will). Also attaching some photos of the watch in its "before" state.

ABYSMAL EXPERIENCE! At the risk of breaking the trend, I have to say that I was really DISAPPOINTED at the work these guys did on my bark president bracelet: it was terrible. The band had discoloured pink in many areas, the links had been put back in the wrong sequence; tapered links had been put in the straight links section, some links were crooked, gaps were everywhere...just awful...Mike tried to blindside me with a load of waffle but I am in the business and know my stuff...such a shame...not even an apology or offer to rectify, after this the $2000 paid AND a 12 week wait after quoting me 5-7 weeks...back to Michael Young at Classicwatchrepair..sorry I ever left you!

After the bracelet rebuild. Forgot to take a pic of the very limp before look.

I own a Datejust with a Jubilee bracelet which was experiencing a bad case of the droops. This is when the watch and bracelet are off of the wrist and the watch is held the bracelet is very limp and droopy instead of being horizontal as it should be. This problem is common with the Jubilee design and is an engineering flaw that causes the bracelet to expand over time and fit more loosely on the wrist. It's caused by dirt, perspiration and other natural contaminants entering inside the bracelet. Over time the internal parts will wear down and eventually break the innards of the bracelet causing the timepiece to fall off of the wrist and being damaged or even worse lost. The only "fix" to this situation is to buy a new Jubilee bracelet which for mine would be somewhere in the $1200-$1500 range. I was getting ready to do this when I discovered another alternative. Reworking an existing bracelet seems to be a very rare service and after doing research I came across RolliWorks near San Jose, CA. There is a guy in Hong Kong that does this work too but I quickly ruled that option out. RolliWorks had very favorable reviews online including Yelp and I also checked them out with their local BBB and Chamber of Commerce. Finally, I emailed and called them for more info and became comfortable shipping my watch to them. Their quote of the bracelet repair was about $500. Also my watch was due for a movement service that includes oiling, replacing of springs, cleaning, etc. that needs to be done every 7-10 years and RolliWorks said they do that too. This service costs about $1500 through Rolex but RolliWorks quote was about 1/3 of that amount. Their quote also included a timeframe for the watch to be returned which in my case was about 7 weeks. The bracelet repair doesn't take very long as in like a couple of weeks or so. It's the movement service that takes most of the time due to the intricacies of working on a mechanical watch and the time needed to verify the accuracy of the newly reconditioned timepiece. I sent my watch to them for those two services. They promptly acknowledged receipt two days later and followed up with a phone call to verify that their quote would be honored after having an in person look at the watch. 7 weeks later they notified me of the shipping info of my watch and it was returned to me as promised. When I opened the package, I was very pleased with the complementary level 7 buff job their did on the exterior. It looked brand new and sparkly. They returned to me the parts inside of the watch that they replaced (springs, etc) and pins of the bracelet, copies of timing and pressure tests on the watch, diagrams of the bracelet repair and an itemized bill. Two months later my watch keeps perfect time. The bracelet is tight and like new. They saved me anywhere between $1-2K, performed the work as promised and provided excellent customer service and answered the phone when I called them (twice). I dealt with Michael Hui and couldn't be more pleased. How can I not give them 5 stars? I would give 6 if I could! P.S. take advantage of shipping your watch through their arrangement with FedEx. It is superior to what you can purchase yourself through FedEx. RolliWorks arrangement with FedEx offers much more insurance coverage for your expensive timepiece and at a lower cost.

Submariner 14060 E Serial
Rayu 2.

Had my Submariner 14060 E serial serviced. They did exactly what was requested and accommodated my every whim. I am so happy with my soon to be vintage, 30 year old watch and would only go to Rolliworks for its service in the future. These guys are the best! To Mike, Sal and the rest of the staff, thank you so much!

When I brought my brand new Rolex Datejust in for a simple sizing adjustment -- just to have a few links removed -- I was met by the store manager, a woman who, shockingly, reeked of alcohol and couldn't keep her eyes focused. Not exactly the kind of presence you expect in a Rolex boutique. She took the watch to the back, and when she returned, she told me with a straight face that I'd need to pay $1,500 to have the watch soldered to fit my wrist. Yes, soldered. Not resized -- soldered. As if permanently damaging the watch and ruining the value of a luxury timepiece was a reasonable solution. When I pushed back, she looked at me and said, "If you just worked out and got a little fatter, it would fit you better." I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Not only was the entire proposal outrageous, but the level of disrespect and unprofessionalism was on another level. This wasn't luxury service -- this was a total scam, and frankly, insulting. Still in disbelief, I went to the Rolex store at Aventura Mall a few days later. There, they resized the watch on the spot, cleaned it, and treated me with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care -- everything Brickell completely lacked. And guess what? It was free. So whatever game the Brickell Rolex thinks it's playing -- it's a bad one. They tried to hustle me like I was clueless, and their customer service was as shady as their ethics. I'll be telling everyone I know to steer clear of that store. If you're looking for a high-pressure, borderline insulting experience where the staff smells like booze and acts like you're an inconvenience, Brickell's your spot. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

My patience has now run out, so I am writing this review. I purchased this beautiful time piece last year. I was sold on it by my agent Roldofo Gil. I really like the piece. I spent right around $6k on the watch. I really like the band, it's crocodile. Anyone that knows me or has followed me on my Chef Journey knows that I've cooked allot of alligator and this reptile is a favorite of mine. I had the watch for about a month and I noticed that the part of the band that has the metal clasp was becoming a bit flimsy. Literally the next day I put the watch on and clasp fell off. As you can see in the pictures. I went back to the store and I showed Roldofo the watch. He told me he would speak to ownership and would get back with me. He never did. So I called him back again. He said they said there was nothing they could do. I was shocked. I didn't say, give me another new watch. The time piece was fine. The band was defective. We went back and forth cordially. I then said, can you at least find me bands that match the watch in another material like a high quality black rubber, etc.. He said he would. Again, crickets. I text him asking what was going on with the band. He then said, "Oh, you didn't get another band yet"? I'm like, no. I want a band that matches the watch. I didn't spend $6k to have a cheap band that doesn't match the quality of the piece. Crickets...... I text again a week or so later. He told me he doesn't work there anymore and he gave me Elaina's phone number and stated she was not a point of reference. I spoke with Elaina and she seemed to be mortified of my experience and she assured me that she would do something. Again, nothing. I have been working in the luxury segment my entire career. When you spend this kind of money, there is an expectation of service. Westime obviously doesn't embody the same ethics and standards of service. Giving me a glass of Prosecco at cost of $7/$9 per bottle is not elegance. Service is addressing the issue at hand. I personally have address this with the personal that sold me the product. I exhausted all of my options before writing this review. I am in hospitality and I deal with my fair share of Yelp reviews, etc....I usually always ask, if you spoke to someone prior to writing the review or having the dialogue. I know I did. In closure, all I want is a phone call. A replacement band, which I'm sure is a minor cost on their behalf or at least a discounted price on a replacement band. Any of these options would better than absolutely nothing. 3058499350 or email me at chefkennyg38@gmail.com.
