Overall Shea's really reminds me of a small shop we used to frequent when I was much younger. Small operation, self-owned, fair pricing, no-nonsense. The price quoted was very fair, and didn't change when he ran into a related, unexpected, yet ultimately additional minor repair. Then he even went out of his way to come back after hours after having to take care of a personal matter that was NOT in the area, just out of concern that I might need my car back ASAP. (I did not, and perhaps there could have been better communication there on either side, but it was still a great sentiment).

I stopped at State Line just before getting on the interstate to head back to NJ. I asked if they had an air pump on-site that I could use. The gentleman at State Line (he was a gentleman) got a portable air pump, filled the tire with air, checked the pressure on all the other tires to make sure that all had the same pressure, and advised me to bring the car in for tire service at home if the tire lost pressure. He would not accept any payment from me for his work. I could not pay him in cash, so I offer this review in lieu of payment. A very rewarding experience.

Upon questioning him today he said it was a 5% charge for using a credit card and he's been doing that for a while and it's listed in the fine print which I didn't see paying over the phone and then he pointed to a tiny sign on the wall and seem to dance around with excuses about he wishes he didn't have to do that and he's been doing this for a while. This was very dishonest and I'm wondering what else they're being sneaky about . They just lost a family of customers.

Less than a week later, I received an email that someone had traded in a car in my price range with the exact specifications I was looking for. There were a few very minor problems with the car (missing antenna, remote starter not working), which they fixed at no cost before selling me the car. They performed a very thorough inspection of the car, and did a full tuneup, including oil change, tire replacement, etc. Even though I bought a 10 year old car, they were able to offer me a lifetime engine warranty, which most dealerships won't do. Mike has always been available by email around the clock, including weekends and holidays, and always responds within a few hours. He took care of all of the paperwork, and worked with my credit union to secure the loan. I highly recommend ACI for their impressive service and genuine care for their customers!
