From the initial quote to the final sweep, he and his team were professional, communicative, and incredibly efficient. They handled the entire process, including the difficult excavation of the old driveway, with expertise; we were particularly impressed with how quickly they finished the job despite unforseen complications arising with there being a huge, thick layer of cement underneath the multiple layers of black tar. The new paved driveway is flawless--the edges are clean, the surface is perfectly smooth, and it looks better than we could have imagined. It's a massive upgrade to our home's curb appeal. If you are looking for a reliable, high-quality contractor for excavation and paving, look no further than Kenny and Dun Rite Paving. We recommend them without any hesitation!

Besides quality and professionalism, the price was reasonable too. Colony Fence is definitely one of the best fence companies you can work with in the Westchester county and adjacent regions. I'd highly recommend them, and would happily serve as a reference if someone wants to look at the work they do. EDIT: He also voluntarily reminded me that he guarantees labor for 2 years and provided me the name of the supply company that provided the materials saying they provide a 20Y warranty.

He put up a top quality fence which was great for our two dogs. Recently, we added a big female husky who is an escape artist. Reuben was right there almost immediately this past fall to put up extra height on the fence where needed. And, just today he was there again within 30 minutes of my calling, when we were frightened when our wonderful Husky dug a huge hole to get out into our frozen pond again. Reuben and his men put two huge rocks to fill up the hole and hopefully block her escape in the future. And then he adjusted the gate lock on the fence before he left. Anyone who uses this gentleman for fencing will never be sorry!

Terrible work, no interest in customer satisfaction. I'm just noticing that recent reviews are all…read moreterrible - I wish I had looked sooner. Also - there is very little transparency in the organization. One phone number, have never been able to speak to a supervisor, etc. I had a reclaimed and sentimental piece of marble that was local to the business and I paid top dollar for Marbleworks to pick it up and cut it into two pieces, finish the surfaces and edges and deliver the pieces to me in NYC. They warned me that there were oil stains and I understood. The price included "installation" and mine weren't being installed, but when I questioned it (neither was a countertop) they said that delivery counted as "installation" ... I agreed to the price. BUT they delivered the pieces rubbing up against each other with nothing in between the raw pieces and the largest piece was delivered with a huge -- though not super deep -- scratch -- and the smaller piece was significantly less "shiny" than the larger and with smaller scratched and like it hadn't been cleaned or as polished as the larger. I withheld the balance (about 39% of the total) until the scratches were removed -- it seemed if they WERE installing a countertop they would've done a better job of leaving me with better surfaces. They insisted on a certified check for the balance. I spend $$$ on cancelling a check, getting the certified check and to buy tarps since they'd now be doing the work in my apartment. The first appointment they gave me to fix the scratch they called the day before to reschedule. Okay. The second appointment I waited all day for them to come and at the end of the day they told me they got held up and could not come. I was upset and I told them I needed a first appointment and waited weeks until that appointment could happen. Unfortunately, when they showed up the workmen were told by my building that I needed a COI - Marbleworks did not inform me of this possibility (it seems they should if they know their business) and I was unaware myself. I sent them the sample COI within minutes but was told it would take time for the COI (which, if they had a relationship with their insurance company, should be fast, no?) that the workmen wouldn't wait AND that if I wanted them to come back I would have to pay them an additional $750 on top of what I owe them. I was sorry about the COI issue an will own my ignorance BUT it seemed to me we were even, since I was stood up once and accommodated weeks of rescheduling, and delays - not to mention bad work in the first place. I told them I'd be willing to wait until it was convenient for Marbleworks to get back to the city (vs. insisting on first appointment, etc.) but they said they have no plans to deliver back into the city unless I pay them $750. So they will not accommodate me in any way to fix their shoddy work no matter what my concessions are - without charging me more $$$. They have no interest whatsoever in making this very polite, very patient customer happy - by fixing their shoddy work to begin with. Since I have had no customer satisfaction, I am not going to pay the balance but am instead looking into local marble repair companies. While my sales contact was unfailingly polite, he is so great at stonewalling that I'm guessing he is being incentivized on making me go away and/or pay more $$$ than actually creating a happy customer. I'm looking at beginning a renovation in the next year and I would not deal with them again.

I regret using them…read more I ordered a quartz kitchen countertop and installation with sink. Plus removal and disposal of old countertop ($275). After the worker, George, took old countertop with sink out, I noticed wall damages. I wanted to fix it but he said "I can cover it. I did it many times" the result? See pictures. He couldn't place brackets on one corner of under mount sink due to holes on countertop for brackets were in wrong places. 3 days later, chalk between countertop and under mount sink started to melt. See the picture. I had to apply waterproof chalk by myself in order to prevent further damages. The company offered me to finish waterproof caulking. But looking at their finished low quality work, I declined her offer. The company wrote a long defensive email saying they delivered a high quality work. Their high quality work and my standard have a huge gap. I had to spend more money and labor to fix their work and placing brackets to secure under mount sink. I regret not researching about this company's reviews.
