After 6 weeks, I called and was told it had not arrived. Late December, I again called and was told the faucet was in but the covers to cover the previous holes had not arrived. I was told I could pick up the faucet from the warehouse in Somers if I called at an hour ahead. I decided to wait. Two weeks later I called again and was told the covers were not in, but should be on a delivery in late January. At this point I asked if when the order was complete, would I pick it up in the Yorktown showroom, and was told all orders had to be picked up in their Somers warehouse (12 miles from showroom and an additional 8 mi from me). No showroom pick up option but "I could pay to have it delivered by UPS". I asked to speak with a manager and voiced my concern that their customer service needs to be addressed. At the time of sale, I paid in full, was never told that the items would need to be picked up in Somers, was never contacted in the many weeks that followed my order to update me re: the status, and felt it inappropriate for me to be charged a UPS delivery fee. The manager said "it's not our policy to followup on orders". Re: the issue of no notification of pickup in Somers, her reply, "she's a new salesperson". Complete and total disregard for my concerns. She had no customer service or satisfaction skills whatsoever. No attempt to remediate the situation. When she could not give an order completion date, I told her I would consider cancelling the order, and she said "go ahead, I can do that for you". Consumers have many options. Kohler faucets are not cheap. Choose your store carefully and buy where you will get the service you are paying for!

We love our old house and wanted to preserve its charm as much as we could. Bruce was knowledgeable, respectful of our house, offered us multiple options so we are comfortable with the work. Bruce was the only one who found the tile that works. Raul took the plan to perfection. The tile work and grout repair work were seamless. He made sure that everything was leak-free and looked great. Even his demolition was quiet -- I had a remote meeting in the room across the hall and the demo noise did not interfere. He also cleaned up after their work very well. Pluses: * Lot of carpet choices in terms of grade and type of material * Knowledgeable sales * Install team showed up on time, as promised * Very little excess carpet after install * Seams were logically and inconspicuously placed * Price was all-in: delivery and freight, 6 lb padding, rip up, $200 stairs surcharge, moving large pieces of furniture and putting it back, labor, and sales taxes. * The crew worked non-stop for 12.5 hours to complete the job in one work day. Much appreciated. It's hard work. For an exact quote: Leave a $100 deposit and Danny comes out to your house. He measures and works up a plan how material will be used with the least waste. Old carpet is cut up, taped and bundled. Here in Cortlandt, bulk pick up is once monthly. Perhaps years ago, installer would haul away old carpet.
