This review is long overdue. Perry replaced our roof last year so in short the roof passed the devastating the winter and hurricane season we had. No leaks and damages. Roof was installed in 2 days. Area to cover is around 3400 sq ft. If there's more than 5 , I will give that to Perry and that is all for price, etiquette, professionalism and quality of his products. Someone in the office takes the call then Perry , the owner gets back to you and not any agent. This is a family owned business and I called several companies before I decided to choose Perry. Perry gave me a great price compared to other quotes I received. I wanted to work with a company that offers warranty for their work. Great job. Dependable. Our new roof was installed on a four-bedroom house in a single day. The workers never stopped but for some lunch. The roof on the house and an adjoining shed look terrific. No leaks anywhere in the attic or shed. The price was within the reasonable range. While Perry's is from Westchester, they do work in Dutchess County where our house is located. The outside of the house was entirely cleaned of debris by the end of the day, and the dumpster for the older shingles that had been removed was gone by early the next morning. Responsive in many ways. They were quick to get a quote out and also quick to set up an appointment. I did use them and although there were a few issues, the owner did address them immediately and resolved them. Of course, with a roof the only way to know how good the job was is over time to see if it leaks. However, all looks great and was a reasonable price in line with other quotes. My only negative was that there was no foreman on site to address my questions as they worked. I had to reach out to the owner who was offsite. Also, not sure if this is preventable, but their leaving large pieces of equipment on the ground on top of pieces of wood did burn out several large sections of my newly seeded and formerly perfect lawn. Hopefully that grows back on its own in a few weeks, but I'm not what else they could have done to prevent that while still being efficient and able to get the primary job done in 1 day. read more

A year after I bought my house, a pretty big leak developed. I called Perry's and Kevin came out to evaluate. He showed me several pictures and a video of what was wrong with my roof, which made it very easy to understand what the problem was. They did the majority of the work (and fixed the leak) soon after I accepted the quote. Sure, there were a few odds and ends after (normal construction stuff) but Kevin was very responsive and helpful throughout. As he kept saying, we have a very complicated roof (thanks, previous owners) but Perry/Kevin's crew managed to fix it within their quoted price. Was not happy with the lack of oversight and cleanup. Many people arrived for a one day install, but that doesn't mean quality. Nails and paper left all over my property. Not one person spoke to me in English, even though I was told there would be someone on the job watching the work and explaining extra work to me.
