I'm a meatatarian. I can't help it; I've come to terms with my carnivorous persuasion. To get my fix, sometimes nothing will do but GOOD BBQ, and Rolling Smoke is the best BBQ in Colorado. I first discovered these guys when they were operating out of their food truck, but apparently the wheels are now a thing of the past as they focus on their brick and mortar locations in Aurora and Centennial. The owner also told me they're catering events. They provide the BBQ staples we all love-sausage, ribs, pork, brisket, and my personal favorite, burnt ends. Those flavorful, tender, smokey chunks of meat are better than bacon in my opinion, and that's really saying something! I might mention that if you're a fan of feathered fare, the offer smoked turkey rather then chicken. The sides are good, too. My go-tos are the mac and cheese and the potato salad. I do wish that cornbread was a thing here, but let's be real- it's not like I have room in my tummy for it anyway after a plate like this! read more

THIS BBQ IS INSANE. And for a place inside Stanley Marketplace it's basically magical. Where are they pulling this food from? We got a meal deal at tried everything plus two sides for around $30. The smoked macaroni and cheese is unlike anything I've ever had and is everything I will dream about for weeks to come. The hot links were flavorful but not overly spicy and the chicken melted in your mouth. I've been in Denver 5 months and have frequented this place many a times since. This place is nestled inside of Stanley Market and they always sell out of their brisket so that should tell you something. Yeah, it's good, but this place goes beyond the food. I ordered their burnet ends one day and was lucky enough for them to not be sold out. The guy took one look at the brisket and flat out told me to order something else because he didn't want to sell me a dried out brisket. Don't think a lot of places would do that and it was much appreciated. Side note, the hot links and chicken are actually good too, but always play second fiddle to ribs and brisket. read more

I stop by here every once in awhile when I am in the area of The Stanley. They have very good bbq but I am not a fsn of the sides. The mac & cheese is very oily. This doesn't really bother me tho since I prefer to stick to an all meat order when im at a bbq place with great meat. This is a great spot if you are in a hurry too. It's a 4 star for Colorado! Food is probably one of the better spots in CO for BBQ. I am so so so happy they don't NOT chop their brisket just to hide a screwed up brisket! I would rather have one a tad dry then chopped and soaked in water to make it not look dry! Now with that being said, I got a piece of the flat when I ordered my brisket which is very hard not to have dry and they did an overall bang up job sides were standard and by that I mean a good standard. Now please be aware if your from central Texas this would be a 3 star. It's a matter of perspective and where you have eaten but for Colorado this is 4 stars all day long and I would go back. Food ok, service poor. I ordered online and half an hour after placing the order, I received an email that my order had been canceled. I called them to find out why and they said that my order couldn't be completed because they had run out of several things I had ordered. They told me they still had some things available and that I should just come and order in person. I sent my husband over and it turned out they still had everything I had ordered except for one thing. They could have just called me to let me know and arranged a substitute. Then they stiffed my husband and gave him half pints instead of the full pints that were supposed to be included with the rib order. The food itself was pretty good. Not a huge fan of horseradish in barbecue sauce, and the potato salad and cole slaw were mediocre. But overall, a decent meal. If the meal had been stellar, I might go back, but I'd be hard pressed to give them a second chance based on the service we received. read more

On my last trip to Denver, we were looking to try something new. My friend and I decided to go to a food hall, and we ended up choosing Stanley Marketplace. While we were walking around trying to decide what to eat, the smells of BBQ kept calling out to us. So, we ended up here...and lemme tell you, we have no regrets. We got the beef brisket with smoked mac 'n' cheese and potato salad for the sides and the pulled pork sandwich with beans on the side. All of it was really good! The brisket was so tender, and the pulled pork was so tasty...my mouth is watering just thinking about the meal I had there! There are two sauces, but both of us preferred the hot BBQ sauce. My only qualm with this place would be the prices, but the prices are understandable considering the location! Was disappointed in the brisket it was way to much fat . the portions were very small. And because of this you got all this fat and hardly any meat and for the price you would expect way more i wish i took pictures unfortunately half the cost went into the trash... . Unfortunately we mostlikey will not return sad because the food was not bad just not for the price. to not  give you enough to actually eat and way to much fat on the 3 small portions of brisket that three of us had. Our plates cost an average of $2 more and we cook our meats for 10+ hours. I feel that's worth a couple bucks more but that just me. I'm sorry your church group had a bad experience. I was pretty disappointed. The shredded pork had no flavor and was dry. They didn't have any ribs or half of the sides they offer on the menu. The brisket was also very dry!!! The smoked chicken was also dry and just a funky taste to it. Like it was cooked in an oven. The potato salad wasn't half bad. The chili was pretty good. read more

I tried Rolling Smoke while at Station 26 one afternoon. It was a very cold day, and the employees didn't seem overly enthused to be there. The barbecue itself was alright. I ordered the brisket and added some of the spicy BBQ sauce that they had. The sides that came with it though had much to be desired. The Mac N Cheese was very thick, but didn't have enough of a cheese flavor. The worst though was the baked beans. They tasted exactly like (and probably were) beans from a can. They were thick and didn't have very good flavor. The food was also kind of luke warm and not very hot. I definitely won't get the beans again, that's for sure. read more

My wife and I love this place for good BBQ and sweet tea. We usually split a two-meat plate and there is plenty for both of us. However, I do have an issue with the plastic utensils - they are very poor quality and they bend too easily. In a town with many great restaurant options, this is another one. Walk up counter and cafeteria seating in a cool littlethe mall, so no waiter service. First off, I apologize for not taking a picture but I just had to eat it so quickly because it looked so amazing, I just didn't have time! They pulled up to Great Divide while I was there. I got the brisket sandwich with slaw on the side. Absolutely delicious. Their mustard sauce is spot on with the southern style. The brisket was perfectly charred and tender and just fantastic. The slaw was also great; it looks like they use their peppercorn seasoning they use for the meat, in the slaw. Gives it a nice flavor. Two very nice guys operate the truck; very welcoming. Came here on a very busy Friday night and left disappointed. Everything smelled amazing, and the line was long, so we had high hopes for the food. We opted for the 3 meat platter and got chicken, brisket, and pulled pork, with beans and potato salad on the side. Besides the pulled pork, the chicken and brisket were on the dry side - the flavor was spot on, but the dry texture left a bit to be desired. We saw big cans of Bush's barbecue beans, which was disappointing as well, as we were hoping for something cooked up there. The potatoes in the potato salad were undercooked and tough. For the cost of this meal, I hope the execution of it improves for future patrons. read more

This place rocks! It's a little tricky to find as it's inside Stanley Marketplace, which is a fabulous collaboration of many unique shops and restaurants housed in an old converted aviation hanger. Back to the BBQ...we ordered a lot of different menu items so we could try them all. It was all outstanding. The ribs are dry rub and although they do hand BBQ sauce it's totally unnecessary as they are delicious! We also tried the brisket, the pulled pork, Mac-n-cheese, beans and collard greens. I had been wanting to try this place at Stanley Marketplace. So I ordered the brisket, coleslaw and mac and cheese. Bravo on the mac and cheese. It was great! A little spicy and smoky tasting. Loved it. The coleslaw wasn't flavorful at. I was disappointed, something out of a bag from the grocery store would have likely been better. The brisket was tender and flavorful, but not the most impressive and the serving was modest. Overall for the price I think it was too expensive. It was $16 and I'm a small girl and are the whole meal easily. The staff was not really friendly either. Might go back for mac and cheese, but not likely to recommend it sadly. For our first visit it was descent, not completely what I expected, truthfully I was disappointed in the one thing I wanted to try of theirs the most.... the ribs!!!! They were definitely not fall off the bone tender, mine were actually a little dry and chewy! Huge let down for sure!!! I did on the other hand really really enjoy the brisket and burnt ends!!!! Amazing!!!! They featured 2 kinds of sauce, mild and spicy but I honestly would only recommend the spicy, it wasn't giving off more for heat than a slight tickle In the throat and it had a nice tang to it... the mild was just sweet... no good! Will I be back??? Not so sure maybe one more time to see if I get a better rib out of these guys but they weren't really friendly at all so do I think I could get the same if not better que somewhere else with better service... probably! By far the best BBQ in the Denver area. I got the pulled pork and put their coleslaw on top. With a side of their smoked mac and cheese and 'bacon candy' as a dessert, it was amazing.
