We had to deal with a lot of salesmen-y type of people that didn't feel honest. Quoting huge numbers and telling us our AC was definitely going to die any moment. Telling us we had to buy these huge expensive replacements. We knew it was going bad, but the experience we had with the greasy salesmen techs made us decide to wait for it to fail before trying again to find someone good. It finally failed May 2026. I did my research again and found this company. The reviews were great but I was still really nervous because of our last experience. Called them out, fully expecting to go through the process of calling multiple people before finding someone. However, Alfredo was immediately different from the others. He is such a kind and personable person. What a great first impression. If you are able to ask by name, I suggest ask for Alfredo. He arrived exactly on time, too. He didn't feel like a salesperson at all. He felt honest and genuine. He gave us all of our options. From repair to full and complete replacement and everything in between. He discussed with us the pros and cons of each option. It never felt like he was pushing us one way or the other. It felt like he just wanted us to have a working AC that worked for us, period. He also spoke equally to both my husband and I. Many technicians tend to only speak to my husband which is annoying since I take care of most of the home management. Previously we were told we had to do this super expensive option to keep our upstairs cool but Alfredo told us we likely didn't need it, and if we did, we could have it added later. I knew right away we didn't need to have anyone else come out. We chose them and they were able to install our new system same day. We left the house, and they were very respectful of our house while they were here alone. They cleaned up after themselves and locked the doors behind them. He said they would likely be done around 2am and they finished at exactly 1:59am! We had a Lego display on the wall that I'm guessing got bumped (I forgot to remove it before they arrived so that was my bad). Some pieces fell off and broke apart and they put them all on the table. I've knocked that thing off myself and finding those scattered pieces is annoying. No missing pieces at all. I was impressed by this small thing. Just another example of the care and thoughtfulness of the crew. The AC is incredible. I'm very happy so far with our choice in system and in who we picked to install it. I don't feel bamboozled or taken advantage of in any way. Highly recommend! Very glad I found them.

Absolutely one of the most absent-minded, boneheaded, obvious mistakes you could make. I only noticed due to the smell of burning metal and smoke. This installation could of burned my house down, god forbid with my kids inside. Used this contractor to come and diagnose my issue. They had to return multiple times over the course of a few days to finally replace the condenser in my outdoor AC unit. The condenser they installed was done improperly, causing the connections/fittings to not fit properly. This caused my AC unit to turn into a block of ice in the middle of hot Texas weather. The fittings/connections from the condenser to the air handler was the wrong type, so they had to come back again. -- An analogy would be, if this was a mechanic shop and they were working on a Ford Truck, yet the manufacturer sent in a Volkswagen engine, rather than talking to the manufacturer to get the correct part sent, they just forcefully installed the Volkswagen engine into a different make/model of a car just to get the job done. This approached ended up causing more problems, money, and time wasted for all parties involved. A little due diligence can go a long way. When they returned, they told me the service visit was free of charge as it was their fault. Upon completing their visit, they had me pay $300 for the visit, even though they EXPLICITLY told me that it was a free service/diagnostic visit since the problem was never originally fixed, AND it was their fault. Normally, before any work gets done, the business tells you about the costs involved and has you sign off on it before they begin the work. This was not the case. They shocked me with a $300 bill that i had to retroactively get removed. More effort and time wasted on my end. This still did not fix the issue. After paying $1500 to Precision Comfort Home Services, my issue was still not resolved. After calling them back and explaining the situation, they then discovered the "real" problem about it being a leak within some piping. That would of been great to know prior to spending hours of my time and not to mention a great deal of money ($1500). When i asked what it would cost to actually fix my REAL PROBLEM, they quoted me again. I responded that I would shop around for a cheaper price, and found many other businesses willing to do the work for 15-25% less of what they quoted me. I asked if they could match the quote and was told "good luck". i am of the personal opinion that this is not how customer service should be handled. Mistakes happen, of course. But when it comes to my HOME and THOUSDANDS of dollars, I want to make sure i am giving my money to people who actually give a shit. Then, the audacity of the owner to text a customer passive aggressive threats at 11:00pm at night because he doesn't agree with a google review. Bad reviews happen from bad jobs. This is one of them. Get used to it and stop harassing customers late at night. Ryan Mudd the technician was wonderful and polite. I can't say the same for the rest of the team. I do not recommend this company at all. SUMMARY: Our former homeowner used Work Environmental and now we do too after a terrible experience w/ a company named Best 1 Air (B1A). BACKGROUND: Our 2nd A/C unit was cycling on and off. It was effectively non-op. We got a recommendation from a friend to go with B1A because we were a bit desperate to get it fixed asap and what a mistake. SHORT STORY: B1A was recommended to us and the tech came. He pulled at our condenser wire and the condenser stopped working. He turned to me and said "What happened???" and I said "YOU TELL ME". So literally this tech spent 3.5 hours sweating in our attics trying to figure out the problem. It became apparent that he was spending too much time trying to do things and he said he thought it was related to the circuit board and would need to come back a second time. To make matters worse, he left a mess. Gate was left open (cat almost got out), both attics were left open with the lights on, hose was not reeled in, and then he sat on our brand new dining room chair sweating through his pants. Like who does that? I also asked him to bill me for the work and he said he didn't even have invoices to fill out and give me. Seriously. After short discussion the next day w/ the wife, we elected to text him to not come back. We called Work Environmental and they sent TJ over. THE FIX WAS IN HIS HANDS TJ was extremely professional and courteous. I gave him the low down of what happened and after some short diagnosis he figured out within about 30 minutes that it was shorting. He went back to the condenser, looked at the wiring, and he ended up replacing the wiring. Pic attached. The wiring was so old that the wire sheathing and the protective sheath was rotted away. The wires were touching against each other and thus shorting itself. TJ replaced the wiring and was done in a little over an hour's time. Cost was the cost of the service call ($119). The other guy spent 3.5 hours and the cost was nearly $400. He did fill up our main condenser with 2lbs of freon, he said so deduct whatever the cost of that was. But the difference in expertise and professionalism is starkly night and day. The thing that makes us upset is that we believe the first tech from B1A might have not been honest with us. I mean literally I watched him pull at the wiring and the unit shut down in front of the both of us. Why he didn't spend more testing/diagnosis at that failure point is beyond me. Literally, it was in his hands. RETURN SERVICE? Yes. We appreciate the expertise, the professionalism, and the timeliness.

I came home Friday Afternoon (10APR26) to find a puddle forming in my garage. My water heater of…read moreover 16 years had finally given out. To Rescue Air's credit, they had been warning us each time they came out for HVAC Filter rotations. Thankfully, Rescue Air's ace plumbing expert Mr. Phillip Blystone was dispatched to my home to assess the situation. Within minutes he identified the issue and immediately started to work out a plan and arrangement my family could manage to cover the expense of the Water Heater replacement: the source of the leaking problem. Rescue Air has a very long history of working with my family since we've been in this home (2016), so that level of service is a given these days. But that's not the complete reason for the 5-Star rating. The next day, now with a working heater, my wife and I discovered that a leak was still present in the Garage. Upon calling Rescue Air to let them know what was going on, Mr. Blystone responded swiftly to our location to triage the leak. Using both his advanced equipment and intuition, he found that in spite of the solid repair and replace he and his team performed of the water heater, a leak was sadly missed during the initial assessment. Most other business would likely have tacked on a "not-our-problem" sort of response to this. However, Mr. Blystone and by extension Rescue Air are not your normal type of company. With careful consideration of the economic circumstance of the recent repair & purchase, balancing years of customer loyalty and being a genuinely saint, Mr. Blystone proceeded to isolate and resolve the leak (a small puncture hole in the T-pipe hot-water line leading from the heater) pro-gratis. Completely unexpected, but definitely much appreciated! It goes without saying it would be extremely foolish for my family to consider doing business with anyone else in the Dallas Metro given Rescue Air's track record with our family. The value lost would be far too great. While I hope to not need their services as often as recently, I definitely look forward to working with them and Mr. Blystone should the need arise again.

They claimed safety issues, pushed contracts in front of me, and scheduled installation for the next day. I tried to cancel but was told I was locked in. I ended up spending around $30,000. After the installation, every maintenance visit came with aggressive attempts to sell me more services I did not need. Then the new system failed in 106 degree heat. The compressor failed at only 16 months old. Communication was poor, and I was left without AC for about seven days. I had to repeatedly chase them for updates. They did not have the part, did not follow up, and someone finally arrived at 10:30 PM after days of waiting. They gave me a two year complimentary membership as compensation. I assumed the membership would end after the two free years. My card on file had expired, yet in May and June 2026 the company suddenly began charging me again. This suggests someone manually updated my card information without my permission. I never authorized a renewal, never received a renewal notice, and never received invoices for any charges. They refunded the charges I caught, but then claimed I owed $95.80 for four months of fees that were never billed and never agreed to. I asked for written confirmation of a zero balance and never received a direct response. They only responded to the BBB and stated the account was at zero. Based on my experience with both service and billing, I strongly recommend being cautious before using this company.

Force Home Services were at our house for 3 weeks because they kept half-assing everything. Below are examples: 1.) They were supposed to replace and level the pad for external unit. They only replaced the external unit. I had to call them back out to replace the pad and then back out again to level it after they propped it with a 2x4 (see pic) 2.) They cut the suspended duct work in the attic and left it with several kinks which was restricting air flow. I had to call them back to re-hang all of it and make sure it was flowing properly. 3.) We had just installed all new blow insulation throughout the house the year before... they threw their metal scraps, empty coffee cups, tape rolls, and rags in the insulation. I had to go through with an extension grabber and get as much as I could. There's still a QT coffee cup up there that I simply can't reach (see pic) 4.) They agreed to clean the duct work throughout the house. They only cleaned the upstairs. I had to call them back out to do the downstairs and they still didn't get all of them. 5.) They twisted the valve on our external hose bib so far to the right that they broke it and caused it to leak... which made a swamp on our side yard for about 2 weeks. Not really sure why they even had to use the water. They sent a plumber to replace it but then water began leaking into our master bath and master closet. 6.) The leak inside the house, caused by fixing the leak outside, required a second company (Dry Force... unaffiliated) to come in and dry out what was behind the walls and on the floor. This required ripping out some of the padding in our master closet and plugging in 4 industrial sized drying machines for a about a week. Our power bill was easily $100 higher from power used and heat generated that month AND when the equipment was removed, Force was only willing to pay to replace the bare minimum from the damaged caused. After the water incident, I just had them cut me a check for what they were willing to pay ($250) and opted to do the work myself in order for it to be done right (the first time). We will never use or recommend them again.
