I cannot wait to add my five star review to Perry's collection. He's probably not even back home yet as I'm writing it. Our only downstairs closet is a deep, narrow under-the-stairs closet. I have been wanting roll out shelves in the kitchen for YEARS and being at home, cooking every day pushed me over the edge. I found Perry on Yelp and had him install roll out shelves in the pantry and kitchen cabinet shelves. I cannot emphasize what a total game changer this has been for me in the kitchen. I no longer end up buying duplicate condiments or anything else because I can actually SEE what I have on the roll out shelf. I completely reorganized the kitchen cabinets and am using kitchen gadgets I had for years but could never find OR didn't want to dig them out from the back of a shelf using a flashlight. When we first moved in, the cabinets that came with our condo were large, deep, and just a single shelf each. There didn't seem to be any good way to organize our large collection of pots, pans, bowls, baking pans, appliances, tupperware, bulk goods (because well, Berkeley Bowl), and oh man, do we have a bunch of kitchen stuff. My husband emailed Perry after finding him here on a Saturday morning. He called us back almost immediately, and was here, taking measurements and explaining our options not two hours later! He constructively suggested several options, and now we love what we have! The parts themselves took a little while to arrive after ordered, but it was all worth it. Perry was very respectful of our flooring, putting down blankets as he worked, and the installation went very quickly and smoothly! The roll-out shelves we got with vertical separators along our bottom cabinets are a perfect way to store our pots, pans, and lids, while the shallow, upper shelves are perfect for our bowls, the rice cooker, Cuisinart, the salad spinner, etc. No more digging/clanking around while trying to find what we need! read more

Perry was great! We made an appointment for him to come measure our kitchen cabinets. He showed up on the dot, was friendly, professional and made a couple of great suggestions. After he left, we decided to add another cabinet to the job. I called him apologetically to ask him to include one more cabinet in his estimate, and he came right back to measure. Nice! I agree with these other reviews, Perry is the greatest. I shop around, I make a decision based on quality then price. I went to a home show where there were 4 shelf companies, I interviewed all of them and invited two to my home to give a formal quote. Perry was by far the best quality, and to my surprise was also the best price. He is a very clean, and fast installer, and easy to get along with. Very Nice Guy, He gave good advice even if it meant less of a sale for himself, he takes pride in his work and it shows. He just finished my kitchen lower cabinets and I am having him back to do my pantry, and he solved my problem of too many spices I will post a pick of a once non openable door front, to a new spice shelf, he did not even charge me for the insert. I can not recommend him highly enough.. the other places have lower quality materials and higher prices. I have worked in quality all my life so it is the main thing I look for in everything I buy. I am writing this 5 years after he installed my roll out shelves for me, and I am still loving each and everything he did for us. I had about 20 different shelves installed and he was very direct and helpful with deciding what sizes to choose, informing me of the pros and cons of each decision. His craftsmanship is top notch and I only wish he did cabinet doors and cabinetry in general. I would hire him on the spot. The materials he uses are extremely high quality (birch veneer if I'm not mistaken) and I even had him stain some shelves for a cherry buffet that is beautiful as well. 5 years later only one of the small brackets he uses to connect the modified "stile" to the cabinet door has snapped and I have just emailed him to ask for a replacement. He offers a life time warranty on all parts and labour so I will be able to comment on this part once he gets back to my request. He is professional, on time , cleans up without any trace, efficient and does what he's supposed to do and is off on his way. His pricing in 2010 was $2400, 85$ for installation and $228 in tax. Perry did a terrific job building our kitchen slide-out shelves. He was quite innovative in designing and building sliding shelves which are hidden behind other slide-out shelves. We are now able to more easily access the hidden spaces in the corners of our cabinets. The quality of his products are great and the drawers are so easy to use. He was also quite creative when we wanted to change the design on some shelves to better match our kitchen cabinet doors and provided a facing that finished the drawers perfectly. Perry Hardison is the licensed contractor owner of this operation. He does all the measuring and installing, and one of his subcontractor factories makes the shelves or drawers for him, which is why he can do it fairly inexpensively, takes about 30 days from contract sign to install. we only had new drawers done, but intend to have shelves made too, since the drawers turned out very well. (12/07 - ordered the rollout shelves, after a few weeks with new drawers) good construction, dovetail joints, different woods avail, guides are very near top of the line, altho simple, he brings samples with him at the measurement meeting. Install takes about 1/2 hour per shelf or drawer, uses existing doors / drawer front which he attaches to new box. Simple, way cheaper than new kitchen, and a huge improvement from the junk drawers of the 1960's cabinets we had before. October, 2010 - did all the remaining shelves in the entire kitchen, kicking ourselves for not doing the whole thing the first time, as good as always) read more

Two and a half years ago we had Roll Out Shelves come in to our kitchen. Perry Hardisom came in, measured, and told us how long it would take to make the custom-fitted shelves. As it turned out, they were completed earlier. He made an appointment to install. He arrived on time and completed the work in less time than he had estimated. The shelves are magnificent and have worked perfectly since day one. We couldn't be happier with them. Recently we had a problem with a cabinet door that came loose. It had nothing to do with the shelves -- but we couldn't repair the hinge because of the roll-out mechanism. We called Perry. He came the next business day, on time, took out part of his mechanism -- and repaired our hinge, even though it was not his problem. And of course he put everything back together.
