However, upon entering Cherry Creek Watch Company, I was immediately greeted. The horologists, Gyles and Nick, immediately got to work on evaluating my watch. They found the model name and value of my watch. They also took apart the watch and showed me the internals, as well as testing the timing of the watch. Moreover, they re-sized the watch for me. All this was done free of charge. I'm personally not a fan or collector of watches. Took it to another jeweler to have it tested, and parts of it stuck to a magnet -- a clear sign it's not real gold, since genuine gold isn't magnetic. Getting misrepresented metal purity twice from the same store is one thing, but being told not to return after catching it is what really says it all. Be careful buying "18k" or "14k" pieces here -- get everything independently tested before you leave the store.
