Fast service, competent and friendly. I needed a battery for my good watch and they stocked the battery I needed. The proprietor was friendly and respectful. I walked out of the shop with my watch working and the advice to change it every year, even when I don't wear it. I generally use my smart watch and the battery watch when dressing up for an occasion I will go back next year, as advised read more

10/10 I highly recommend this place. Absolutely Amazing!! I was recommended this shop by 2 friends after telling them I thrifted a watch that had a dead battery and a wristband too wide. For one, parking is right outside the shop. Extremely easy to find location. The owner immediately took my watch to the back and worked on it. I expected a few day turn around but was impressed it was done in minutes (saves me a trip of driving back to the shop). $15 for the battery and link removal! read more

They are always so helpful. Every time I go in they are friendly, reasonable and accommodating.

Wonderfully helpful! Had my watch battery replaced and a screw replaced in my glasses. Easy parking right in front.

Easy, fast, and fantastic service! Had my watch battery changed for very cheap-- maybe $4 more than the cost of the battery itself. Noticed on my way out that he'd reset it to the correct date (this watch has a date marker) and everything-- a nice touch. Love supporting a local business! read more

This place was recommended to me by some Denver locals and they did not disappoint! I needed to have a watch fitted and I'm no watch expert so I thought the bracelet structure seemed pretty specific but they perfectly adjusted my watch within 5-10minutes and even changed the battery for me. They gave me the spare part in a nice baggy as well. It was $2 to get my watch fitted and $8 for the battery. I love how this place is family owned too! Great service! Cheap, fast, and friendly. Thank you for all of your hard work! read more

An old-school Denver gem on Colfax! Family-owned business that I didn't realize did watches and jewelry repair. When the lobster clasp on my favorite necklace broke, I was at a loss as to where I could find a trustworthy jewelry repair place here in Denver. Luckily, I saw all the positive reviews on AA Jewelers and decided to take a chance. After examining the damage, the nice woman explained that they could either replace the spring in the clasp for $25, or replace the entire clasp for $40. Either way, it would be ready for pick-up the next day. AA Jewelers did a great job on the repair, and they honored their promise on a quick turnaround time. They've earned my trust as my go-to jewelry repair place! read more

This place is amazing. . I brought pieces from my moms jewelry box, she passed a year ago, and they exceeded my expectations. My dad just passed as well so I will be working on a piece with AA Jewelers again. Amazing. Love them. read more

I needed to get my engagement ring downsized a whole size. After calling multiple places near Cherry Creek I was quoted minimum of $75. I looked at AA Jewelers off Colfax and they quoted me $35 and two days (would have been faster but it was over Christmas and New Years week). I trusted my gut and the other reviews posted and was promptly given a firm price. My ring fit and looked great but I decided I wanted it a little more snug so I brought it back in the next day. He went down a quarter size to ensure it wasn't too snug or loose and did it within 30 mins, no charge! Can't recommend this wonderful family business enough! read more

I've used this business to replace my watch batteries for over a decade. The owners are wonderful and polite. It's a cute little family run business. I highly recommend them. read more

this is by far the best place to have watches, rings and jewelry serviced and repair. the service is done promptly and very affordable. they also offer a big selection of ladies and mens jewelry; also, a lot of the jewelry is unique and not found anywhere else. for example, i had planned to buy a man's gold ring i had seen there, and by the time i called back,---it had been sold. most of all, in addition to performing professional work, it is the spirit and attitude that all the family members displaywith their customers. read more

I've taken a few watches here with mixed results. For basic cleaning he's ok. For anything more forget about it. I took in two watches a few weeks ago and he said he fixed them but neither was fixed. I had asked them to call and give me an estimate for the repair in the past and again with these two but they just don't do that. No estimates, no calls. They try to fix and you pay. read more

Such a cute little jewelry repair shop! Not many of these places around anymore. The couple who work there are just the best! They do great work on repairs and just a couple days turnaround! read more

I got my watch battery replaced- fast service, reasonable price, polite interaction. Great neighborhood mom and pop shop.

AA Jewelers is an amazing business. I have been here to get multiple gold chains fixed, lobster claws replaced, and resized. They will give you an affordable and fair quote. Their repairs are well done and you can always expect your jewelry in amazing condition when you get it back. I can't wait to buy new jewelry from this family business. Amazing people, timely repairs, and outstanding work. Thank you AA Jewelers! read more

I went to AA jewelers to get a ring resized. The first time I went in the lady helping me seemed to not know for sure how to make sure I was getting the correct size ring. The size ended up being too big so I took it back and they corrected it to make it fit better. The shop is family owned and the workers were very nice. This isn't a bourgeois place but it gets the job done. I generally don't go into places with metal locked doors on the inside, but I guess being on Colfax it's a good idea to have some control on who gets to come inside. They do primarily speak Spanish as well. read more

Let me echo what Judy said in her review. These folks are fantastic. Very professional, prompt, and affordable. I have had two watches repaired here, and the work was done quickly, done right, and done for less than the competition. Highly recommend their services. read more

I rarely post reviews, and when I do, it's generally to give praise. Not this time, unfortunately. I have had a number of good experiences with this watch shop previously, but this most recent one was a train wreck that bears posting... Just before the Holidays, I took in two automatic - a Seiko 6139-6000 and a micro brand - Straton which is powered by a Seiko NE88 movement. The rotor had come undone on the 6139, and on the Straton, the screw down crown was coming off when I unscrewed it. Things started out great as with my previous experiences - the owner fixed the 6139 on the spot, and refused to take any money for it. But he said he would have to have his watchmaker look at the Straton. I had just got he Straton back from a full service with the manufacturer in Switzerland, so it was running fine, but I just had this issue with the crown unscrewing. I contacted the manufacturer, and he said it sounded like a simple fix that my local watchmaker should be able to fix very easily. But when I went in to pick up the watch a couple days later, the crown was reattached, but the watch wasn't running and the hair spring was partly uncoiled. I wasn't able to speak to the watchmaker until yesterday (under normal circumstances he's not there any set or regular hours, plus the Holidays, and I had a family situation that took me out of town for about half of December and January). But when I did speak with him yesterday, he just denied any responsibility, saying over and over again that it couldn't be his fault because he "doesn't have those parts" - a total non sequitur - you only need the parts to fix a problem, not to create one... The shop owner basically just backed his watchmaker (not sure what the relationship is - employer-employee or independent contractor or what), saying "he's a professional and doesn't make those kinds of mistakes". All I can say is that the watch was running fine when I brought it in, the watchmaker opened it up to fix the crown, and I got back a jacked watch. I even tried to talk to the owner without his watchmaker present to tell him that I'm not going to push the issue because I can't really prove anything (I foolishly took the watch with me when I went it to pick until snd realized the problem - I should have left it there...), but that he might want to reconsider his relationship with his watchmaker, but he wasn't having any of it. Just steadfastly backed his guy, and denied any responsibility. So now I have to send the watch back to the manufacturer in Switzerland for repair - and incur the cost. ‍ Very, very disappointing. read more

Shout out to AA Jewelers. Owners are very friendly and provide great service. I took my watch in yesterday to get band switched. It took him awhile to exchange them because of it being a difficult band to switch but he did a great job and only charge me $5!! I remember taking it to Cherry Creek mall to get same thing done couple years ago and they charge me $20. I love to support local small family business. I have also brought in some jewelries for him to fix and he did a great job fixing them and quick turn around time. Two thumbs up!! read more
