I cannot say enough good things about Bulow Jewelers. I had previously tried to get an engagement ring through a highly respected jewelry store near me in Virginia. They didn't produce what we had agreed upon, and wanted to jack up the final cost by 25% over what they had promised a few days earlier. I was discouraged, and thought there was no way that I would be able to propose in Colorado the way that I had planned. So when we got into town, I tried 3 jewelry stores with my girlfriend. The first two were very typical. They tried to lock me in by buying the diamond first before they would even discuss the gold working that I wanted. They had little actual inventory to show us, and their turn around time was several weeks. Bulow Jewelers was completely different. They had a sizable inventory from which we could explore and talk about our ideas. Serena was very informative and helpful, and showed us a variety of different stones and settings so that we could visualize what was possible. She then ordered in a number of other settings and stones so that we could refine what we were interested in achieving. It was so easy, and my girlfriend loved the experience. Completely different than any of the other dozen jewelry stores that we had tried. SERENA LISTENED TO US. That was huge. In the end, not only did Serena get the ring made exactly the way we wanted it, but had it delivered to us in time for me to propose in the way that I had been planning. Total time from us walking in the door to me having the ring in my hand: 54 hours. I didn't think it was possible, but Serena made it happen. They were transparent about their (reasonable) prices, and delivered what they said that they would, in a timeframe that I frankly thought was impossible. I can't say enough good things about them or recommend them highly enough. 5/5 stars is not high enough. read more

Went in on Monday and spoke with Avi about a custom engagement ring. After they played hot potato with the live customer and he was done texting on his phone, he was very helpful. Thorough explanation of options, very knowledgeable. He even showed us mock designs. It was great. They had us fill out a contact card and we did. Avi looked at me and said "okay, let me source this, I'll be in touch." I left deciding "okay despite the awkward first 10 minutes this feels like a good fit." My partner the same. It's been a week and we haven't heard a peep from them - not even a "hey, we're working on sourcing your gem....thanks for your patience." Bizarre I guess we didn't have a big enough budget to get a text back. Avoid read more

I am a new customer to Bulow Jewelers. I left a jeweler I had for so many years who retired and sold his business. Did not receive the same quality and I felt like I was getting ripped off. I researched and found Bulow Jewelers. Not only was Stephanie so welcoming and accommodating, but I received excellent service and very fair and reasonable prices for my engagement ring prongs reinforced and two ring appraisals. I am so grateful for having found a new jeweler that I feel I can trust! I am so grateful for the other positive reviews that convinced me to give Bulow jewelers a try. I can highly recommend Bulow Jewelers. read more

My engagement ring experience at Bulow was nothing short of incredible! Avi was so professional and did such an amazing job of helping my fiancé and me design her engagement ring. The ring was exactly how she wanted it and we have been getting so many compliments of how beautiful it is. Throughout the whole process, Avi made everything so easy and stress-free. On top of this, his prices are so competitive, but you are not sacrificing quality or service at all. I am giving Avi and Bulow a 10/10 on service, quality, and price. I will never go to another jeweler in Colorado ever again. read more

I did not end up working with this jeweler but did a consult for a custom piece of jewelry. They were so nice via email and during my in person consultation. They all seemed very easy to work with. It was a tough call between them and another jeweler. Ultimately I'd consider them again in the future if the need arises. Check them out! read more

Avi Bulow and the team at Bulow Jewelers created an exquisite masterpiece for me. I had first seen Avi's beautiful engagement ring on my friend's hand two years ago at my own wedding. I was blown away by the craftsmanship of the setting, which was a delicate milgrain halo surrounding a scintillating round brilliant. She and her fiancé told me about Avi and how fun and involved the design process was, and how dedicated he was in finding the perfect stone. I couldn't wait to design my own! Two years later, I contacted Avi. He is so passionate and knowledgeable about diamonds, and I learned a lot in the process. I had initially wanted a large (5+ carat) round or cushion, but he turned me onto an emerald cut with near-flawless clarity and remarkable dimensions; as a true diamond aficionado, I knew this would be the one! The design process from start to finish took about a month, and he was very patient with me and meticulous about the details. I enjoyed the updates and could tell that he was just as excited as I was! The final result was simply mind-blowing. I remember opening the box, and I was speechless and stunned! The ring completely exceeded all of my expectations!!! The center emerald cut stone was *spectacular*, and its step cuts created gorgeous throws of reflective mirror sparkle. The French-cut halo perfectly complemented the stone, lifting the stone into the light, with a delicate basket of small hand-set diamonds. In all, well over 7 carats of jaw-dropping gorgeousness. I have been wearing her non-stop! The ring will be featured on their Instagram so you can see photos and creation videos. If you are thinking of designing a truly one-of-a-kind jewelry masterpiece, Avi will help make your dreams come true. You rarely find this level of craftsmanship and artistry at brand stores. There is something magical about designing your own and seeing it come to life in the most beautiful way. Thank you, Avi & team, for this exquisite ring! This is truly wearable art! read more

Great and friendly service. Jeff is very knowledgeable on watches but the whole shop and staff have a great vibe. I'll be back.

Avi and Stephanie have been wonderful to me and my fiancé every step of the way in working with them. Operating as a true family-owned business, Avi sat with me for as long as I needed in every visit to his shop (trust me there were many), deliberating on what engagement ring I should buy. I got a beautiful ring at a very fair price that my fiancé loves, and now we're buying custom wedding bands from them too. Avi and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and caring, and make you excited every time you visit the store. Highly recommend! read more

Jeff Miller is an exceptional watchmaker! He knows his craft and his talent is shown in his work. I am so glad I found him!

I don't know what great things I can say about Avi and his team that hasn't already been said, but I will certainly try. I have worked with Avi many times over the years, including for my most important jewelry purchase of both mine and my husband's wedding bands. He is exceedingly kind, considerate, patient, and most of all.... just an all around fun guy! And this goes for each one of his employees I have had the privilege to interact with over the years, ESPECIALLY Kandice. His taste is impeccable and I always love coming into his store to play. I just couldn't recommend him more highly if I tried. read more

I had an amazing experience with Bulow Jewelers today. I came from out of town for a conference and noticed my watch battery was dead. I found this place near my hotel and the watchmaker got me in and out in no time! He was very welcoming and we chatted a little bit about what I do for work. The pricing was more than fair for taking his time away from what he was working on to squeeze me in. The rest of the staff was very nice as well. I wish I lived in Denver now so he could service my other watches, he that good. Thank you again Bulow Jewelers for your amazing work! read more

Great selection of top-quality jewelry and diamonds, and if they don't have it, they'll make it. Jeff also is a top-shelf watch maker and repair tech. I followed him from William Crow downstairs when they sadly closed last year. I bring all my watches in for batteries and service. Everything is done quickly and professionally. Come and support a wonderful local business. read more

My fiancé came here to create my engagement ring and WOW! My fiancé isn't the most stylish guy so I gave him an idea of what I wanted, but Avi made a ring that far exceeded any dream ring I could have imagined. And he is so nice! After my fiancé popped the question, Avi invited us back to go over care for my new ring and offered to clean my grandmothers ring that my fiancé had brought in for a size comparison. My fiancé wanted to clean it when he originally came in but reminded my fiancé that if I saw a clean ring randomly before he proposed I would start to put two and two together haha. I recommend Bulow Jewelers to anyone that requests anything jewelry related. And we can't wait to go back for our Wedding bands. read more

Avi is the best! I had heard about him from my best friend who Avi helped with his engagement ring. From when I first met him he has always been genuine, listened to me and what I wanted, was patient with my indecisiveness, and not only was willing to answer all of my questions but taught me a ton about diamonds in the process. He helped me design my wife's engagement ring and then after we got engaged designed my wife's wedding band. Every time we have worked with him I have been amazed at the quality of jewelers that I've gotten and I always feel like he is fair and understanding. I've purchased many items now from him and recommend him to all of my friends. He is the first one I think of when I want to buy jewelry and my wife has loved everything she has gotten. read more

Avi came highly recommended to me from two close friends, though it took me buying a ring online and sleeping on it for a few nights to finally heed their advice. Now that I'm happily engaged and my fiancee absolutely loves the ring Avi and I designed for her, it's clear that I ultimately made the right call. Both of my friends who used Avi had gotten engaged a few years prior to the online guys (James Allen, Blue Nile, etc) really gaining prominence, and I convinced myself I could get a better deal cutting out the middle man. A big part of me wanted to buy locally and build a relationship with a local jeweler, but I wanted to get as much diamond as I could for my dollar and it seemed all signs pointed to buying online. I did all the research, evaluated hundreds of options online over a few weeks, and finally built and paid for a ring. Over the next few days of continuing to read about more buyers' experiences, I became disenchanted by the fact that if any issue arose, I would need to chat online with a customer service rep or talk on the phone to someone answering hundreds of similar calls each day. Also, because she wanted a pave setting, I really didn't like the idea of having to send the ring away for three weeks every time a stone or prong came loose, as they inevitably do over the years. I made an appointment with Avi and within two hours of being in his office, realized how misinformed I was about the entire process. It's too long to get into all the details in a Google review, but I'll just say that Avi sells a lot of diamonds to the online retailers and could easily and quickly show me why those aren't the ones that go to his clients. For the exact same amount I'd spent online, we ended up with a setting much closer to what I was looking for and a diamond substantially larger than what I originally had bought. While this was all taking place, Avi gave me some advice on planning the proposal and the trip I was making to speak with my then-girlfriend's parents, which ended up being as useful as his guidance in designing the perfect ring. My fiancee is on cloud nine about the ring Avi helped me design for her, and I had much more fun doing it hands-on at the table with Avi than I did looking at high-zoom photos on a computer screen. Given how big of an expenditure this is for most guys my age and how close I was to making a suboptimal decision, I hope my story is helpful for those considering buying online to at least go into a local jeweler and ask some of these same questions and see for yourself why the old-fashioned way of doing things is still alive and well in this digital age. read more

I rarely write reviews on Yelp, but was so impressed with Bulow Jewelers that I felt the need to put this out there. In honor of my 10th anniversary, I went to Bulow Jewelers to find something appropriate. I have very little experience in buying jewelry and was a little nervous as to what I should get. I was immediately put at ease with Avi's assistance. He showed me several items within my price range and made feel very comfortable with this very important purchase. Suffice it to say, I left feeling confident and excited to deliver the gift to my wife. When she opened the box (expertly wrapped by none other than Avi himself), she was so ecstatic. I highly recommend Bulow Jewelers to anyone, especially if you think you need any help with making the best choice possible for your loved one. read more

Best Diamonds and other pretty things! So far I have my tennis bracelet statement dangle diamond earrings and a yellow diamond pendant necklace and a lovely engraved amethyst and diamond ring. I always call him at bonus time :) He is the kindest and most flexible deal maker. Thank you Avi! read more

I was recommended to Avi by a coworker whose son had designed an engagement ring through Bulow. I had inherited a number of rings and other jewelry that I had never worn in the 10 years of owning them. I felt it was time to sell, melt down, or create a new piece of jewelry from the collection. Avi helped me to sort through what was costume vs real, how much value the gold had, and melt down the pieces I was fine parting with. We then designed two new rings- one for my mom and one for myself- using several of the stones from the jewelry that was melted down. My mom and I are so happy with the end result! We have designed two more rings with the rest of the remaininthat I hope to one day complete with Avi! read more

My partner proposed to me with his mother's and grandmother's rings and I wanted to incorporate them into a custom ring. I learned of Bulow Jewelers from a coworker whose sister had a custom engagement ring done with Avi. The process was so easy and Avi was communicative throughout it. He is also very knowledgeable and easy to talk to as someone new to fine jewelry. I learned so much from our meetings with him. Bulow Jewelers brought my idea to life - I highly recommend them to anyone! read more

I am so, so happy to have been referred to Bulow Jewelers. Stephanie was wonderful in helping us to design custom rings using meaningful diamonds from both mine and my partner's families. She provided the perfect mix of encouragement and guidance throughout the design process, and I ended up feeling like I got exactly what I wanted. In my first few days of wearing my engagement ring I had multiple strangers stop me to comment on its beauty and uniqueness. I'm thrilled with it! I'm certainly not accustomed to having jewelry of this quality, but anytime I'm ready to purchase anything like this ever again, I will happily return to Bulow Jewelers. read more

Bulow Jewelers has become our go to jeweler, even as out of state customers! We've worked with Avi to design two special pieces and they are exquisite and are looking to design another piece soon. Avi worked tirelessly with my husband (who takes a long time to decide) to design my engagement ring and it is truly spectacular and one of a kind. We always get top notch service and custom pieces at a fair price with incomparable attention to detail. We will continue to use them for years to come and can't recommend Bulow Jewlers enough-they will take care of everything! read more

The story below taught me a few things: 1. There is a reason to buy local, especially for jewelry 2. It can even be a better value than online 3. Don't trust the grading supplied by online jewelers. They are not always accurate I was very excited to buy an engagement ring for my now wife, so I turned to the internet. After seeing reviews for Avi at his previous employer, I took her in to get ideas and was very impressed with his kindness and knowledge but I wrongly assumed his pricing would be much higher than I expected to find online. I was wrong. I had ordered a large diamond and custom made ring online from Brilliant Earth for what I thought was a great deal. It came and it just didn't look right to me. I was distraught so I contacted Avi, again assuming his prices would be much higher. He was able to get a similar graded diamond for me to look at and when I saw it, I was totally blown away! It was truly spectacular! I immediately sent back the one I had purchased online and they provided a refund. The final ring created by Avi's people was amazing. My wife is so happy and gets compliments daily. I checked all the major high quality sources for engagement rings and never saw as good of a value as I got from Avi. Any time I want to get a gift for my wife, all I have to do is go to Avi and it's always a winner. read more

When you talk about a friend in the diamond business this is the group you want to know. For a decade Avi and crew have been steering me the right way. When you are looking for something to buy you don't want to be sold something you really don't want. They have some of the best customer service I have experienced. A great variety for a Denver Jeweler and because of the low overhead they have it is always a better value then you can find other places. read more

Not once did I question whether Avi had my best interest at heart. If only all major purchasing experiences were like this.

Avi has been my jeweler for over 6 years and is completely genuine and sincere. I first met Avi when shopping for my wife's engagement ring. I sat down with Avi and told him what I thought I wanted and my price range. We then looked at numerous diamonds and he taught me things you could not learn without physically looking at diamonds. I know most people will not take as long, but after a least a half dozen 1+ hour visits, I found the perfect loose diamond and the perfect setting. The ring came out better than I ever could have imagined, and he captured all of my thoughts and details in a perfect custom ring. It exceeded all of my expectations, and my now wife could not have been any happier with it! Since then, I have been a repeat customer many times. It's easy to keep coming back to Avi when every experience is great! read more

I have dealt with Avi on a major diamond purchase. I am not at all pleased. I felt he was arrogant and talked down to me. I regret dealing with him and wished I would have gone elsewhere. I know now I was not given a good deal and my treatment was worse. I didn't feel like he was sincere, and my interactions with him left me feeling like I got taken. I just wanted the experience over and I settled and now regret it. read more

I very rarely write reviews but I was so impressed with the customer service and quality of work at Bulow! I recently got engaged but the ring was a bit too small. I was desperate to find somewhere that could do a same-day resize; but I was really hesitant about leaving my ring at a typical 'fast-fix' jewelry repair type place. After seeing the positive reviews I decided to give Bulow a call. They were so kind, and willing to work with my deadline, even though I couldn't get it in until after noon. I immediately felt at ease as the atmosphere was very friendly and professional. Not only did my ring come back the same day, it was absolutely perfect! The perfect fit, absolutely zero blemishes from being resized, and very affordable ($85 for almost a full size up of rose gold). I had a wonderful experience!! read more
