I have walked past Roja Rugs a few times and have always noted how beautiful and light the atmosphere is inside the store. My husband and I were shopping for area rugs and I thought to go to Roja. What a wonderful experience! Not only is the store clean and stylish, the rugs are exceptionally beautiful. We recently purchased a rug for our living room from this company. A relatively new store in Downtown Mill Valley. The quality of the rugs and selection were great. The store is bright and clean and the owners were extremely knowledgeable. While the rug was costly, they were able to negotiate on the price. As important, their service was terrific. They were at our house 4 times - once to bring full samples (actual full size rug) to the house, once to pick up the unused sample, once to bring an under-rug mat (cut to size) and last to pick up the rug for cleaning (our neighbor's little dog decided to urinate on the rug) - The free cleaning was part of the service (no charge). Knowing a business is responsible and stands by their product means a lot to me. read more

This is the way to get the right rug for your home. We wandered into Roja Rugs in Mill Valley to get ideas from their vast selection of styles and sizes. Sahap Borak patiently asked questions about our space and style and began showing various possibilities. When he saw what we reacted to he suggested that we let him bring 10 or 12 rugs to our home and see them in our space, which we did. We were surprised at what we thought would be right for our home and what actually did look right with our light, our appointments and our artwork. We chose a rug but after living with it for a week we realized the colors were not exactly right for the room. Sahap was happy to come back and present more possibilities and we landed on the absolute perfect rug. We never could have done this through a catalog or by purchasing a rug without seeing it in our home. In fact we had already made the wrong choice twice over the years which is why we were still searching. We did spend more than we anticipated, but when you end up with the right piece you feel good about the transaction, and very appreciative of a business that will stick with you till you have exactly what you didn't know you were looking for. read more

The showroom is light and airy and the beautiful rugs speak for themselves .I stopped to look for a rug for our dining room & selected several rugs to see at home. Before that however, my husband wanted to come in so Sahap & his brother went through the same process again. A new rug had just come in which we added to our selection (ultimately this is the one we chose). They brought the rugs to our house so we could view them in place and were patient about the amount of time and effort it took.
