I'd gotten an extremely high quote from another Ashland mechanic and was considering doing the work myself. Valley View Auto Repair quoted a very fair - and much lower than the other outfit - price and were able to do the work the next day. When I picked up the car, the bill was less than they had quoted me, as the scope of needed work was less. And the car is perfect again! I really believe these are some honest mechanics that want to do right by their customers. I will be back next time something goes wrong with one of my cars.

There's no explanation for a full tank of gas to be gone, with them just doing test drives or starting it to idle, they clearly did something else that used a full tank of gas, in a car that's extremely fuel efficient. We also stop at this I-5 Arco on the way out, as it seems to have the "cheapest" gas. This time around, gas prices on the Oregon side seemed to be a bit higher than California, which is a switch. However, the big bonus in this "mini-serve" environment was that the guy at the pumps actually washed my windows and did a really good job!
