The staff insisted that this wasn't a fast-food place and that their 50-minute ticket time was acceptable. I arrived at 12:30 PM and left at 1:20 PM without eating lunch. I wouldn't recommend this place. The staff was completely unprofessional, and the food portions were disproportionate to the price. Do not eat here. I repeat, do not eat here. Overall cleanliness was at a low and the staff's behavior was totally unacceptable... "We located the receipt for your order. Our records show you waited 20 minutes, and there were 10 orders ahead of you. We prepare orders in the sequence they're received. We maintain a clean restaurant and have nothing to hide. We issued a refund. We believe some of your statements are untrue." Wow, Angie D., you're being incredibly dishonest. I believe you were present when you and your staff were incredibly disrespectful about your late ticket times. It's not surprising that you're now trying to downplay the truth and lie to cover up your inappropriate behavior. How about some accountability? "We located the receipt for your order. Our records show you waited 20 minutes, and there were 10 orders ahead of you." That's an absolute lie. I literally had only two gentlemen who were before me on their lunch break before they were served after it took 10 minutes plus to make their food and watch them consume their meals in their entirety and sit and have extended conversation afterwards until I decided to get up and leave. I can't believe the lack of accountability. I've worked in the restaurant industry for over ten years, and I completely missed my entire lunch break. What would I gain from fabricating this story? I'm simply informing people about what to expect and how you treat your guests. As I mentioned, I observed several people who ordered after me being served before me, while people around me finished their meals while I sat and waited in vain. When you begrudgingly gave me my refund, you glared at me and acted completely disregarding my time. Then, you yelled that I should go to McDonald's after I had waited my entire lunch break in your store, showing absolutely no remorse. So I ask you now whose statements are really untrue.

A huge shout-out to Kaylin, who consistently goes above and beyond. She is always smiling, genuinely welcoming, and happy to make great recommendations. They do not have on the menu iced tea, but rather than simply telling me they do not, she brings me a cup of ice along with hot green tea so I can make my own. It's a small thing, but it perfectly represents her approach to customer service. The sushi itself is remarkable, and the chefs clearly appreciate their customers. They routinely do little extra things that make us feel valued and create a level of service that really stands out. We generally spend around $100 for two people, including one alcoholic beverage and green tea, which I consider very reasonably priced for the quality of the food and service, especially in today's economy. The only thing which surprises me is that the restaurant often seems slower than I would expect. We've been on both Mondays and Saturdays, and I honestly don't understand why this place isn't packed. Hiro Sushi has officially become our new favorite sushi restaurant, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Without any previous knowledge of this place, unable to find a menu for them, we called in a few of our usual items on our way through town for a take out order. A couple spicy scallop hand rolls, a crunchy dragon roll & some salmon sashimi. We wanted some albacore sashimi but were told they didn't have any. It was ready promptly when we arrived for pick up. Drove home & dug in. Everything was fresh & flavorful. The portions were good on the sashimi & we were pleasantly surprised with the items we received. We will be happy to get take out again from them until the restrictions are lifted & then we are looking forward to trying a dine-in experience.
