I went to him because I just lost all motivation to go to the gym, so I figured if I hired some twice a week for a half-hour that could maybe get me back into it. That's not many hours but Bryant was totally fine training in the way that works best for me at the time. I started to get into it and slowly increased to lifting 5 sessions a week. Things went great until I tried pick up a boulder in my yard and partially tore my biceps tendon. Injuries happen and part of a trainers job is to adapt workouts for each person, so started to work legs twice a week and do cardio the other 3 days. It took maybe 3 months to work upper body again but we took our time because rushing injuries is not the way to go. From doing all the cardio and legs I started burning a lot calories and I lost 40 pounds in 60 months and actually had a 6 pack that I never thought I would see. I was very excited wanted to keep going but I needed a new goal, so we chose trying out bodybuilding for a month and see how much I can change. After the month I lost 1.5% fat by adding in eating clean, which I saw was essential. We decided I actually was on track to be respectable at the show so we started the prep. It's actually fun be trained by Bryant because he sometimes get more excited about my accomplishments than I do, which is pretty cool. The main reason I lost so much weight was from listening to all of his nutritional advice. Most of it I didn't totally understand at first but he knows what he's doing so I just did it. I'm a business owner and all I do all day is make decisions. When I train I like turn brain turn off and I just do as I'm told and I love it. Finally, I ended up doing the show and actually placed 1st, 3rd, 4th and 6th. We are thinking Bryant will be awarded "Best Trainer" from the whole show and I can't wait until the results come out. It's actually not too hard to get into shape when one is given the correct advice for nutrition and working out which is the opposite of what most people do which is listen to Instagram or TikTok morons that give terrible and sometimes dangerous advice.
