I paid that but minutes later a friend of mine said she could join so I paid an additional $444 for the two of us to do a tour, assuming Paul would gladly refund the first payment. He refunded only $222. When I texted him explaining the miscalculation, he ignored it completely and never paid me back the additional $111. On top of that, I actually had a family emergency arise a couple days before the scheduled tour and requested a full refund. my sister's baby was stillborn and I needed to go home to support her. He showed zero consideration for this matter and again ignored my txt requesting the refund. I ended up finally having my friend go and invite someone else so as it all not going to total waste. But he still owes me $111 which he refuses to pay. He also went on to harass my friend online after the tour. This guy is False Light. Do not support him.

I was able to see McCloud Falls, all 3 levels, Lake Siskiyou, Castle Lake, climb up to Faery Falls under Robin's guidance, went up to 7,000 feet up Mt Shasta, stood in a Golden vortex, and had the experience of a lifetime! It is important for visitor to the area to have the expertise of a guide like Robin as she knows the trails a newcomer must take to make it safely up to Faery Falls. Moreover, she has the equipment you need to stay safe from the wildlife of the area. She provides walking sticks and has all the emergency equipment needed in her back pack. While touring, Robin will state the history, facts and figures, and pivotal events that shaped the area. Get ready to marvel at what beauty is in this area as Mother Nature presents the finest scenery! You're bound to take many amazing photos. My dad and I booked a one-day tour with…read moreSMG to strengthen our backcountry skiing skills and to get to ski some of the awesome terrain on Shasta. We skinned up to around 9400ft and then transitioned to ski down. Daniel went out of his way to care for our safety, learning, and experience on the mountain. You could also tell he cared a lot about the mountain, town, and the outdoors in general. If you're getting into backcountry skiing, I highly recommend a day tour with SMG on Shasta!

I have been on two expeditions with Shasta Mountain Guides, and a friend has gone on a third trip…read more None of these trips saw the summit. Now I understand that in mountaineering weather plays a deciding role in if a summit is reached or not, but it seems to me like reaching the summit is NOT a priority at ALL. I mean ZERO priority. On this second trip, I was also told by one of the guides that my "footwork" was not good enough (whatever that means), so I was forbidden to head up towards the red banks. Meanwhile, I was in lockstep with the rest of my crew, and was not complaining, for a major blister I had on my heal. After having spent $3,000+ for the guides, (not to mention all other associated costs) they served ramen noodles with frozen meatballs in a cup. (Not a plate, meaning portions were tiny). Personally, I find their guidance underwhelming, and for someone to decide whether or not I can climb is preposterous. I do not recommend this company.

Nathan was fantastic! He worked with us to plan the day to make sure we got the experience we wanted. Everything was planned out, the wineries were all great and Nathan made sure we had the food and the wine at each spot, even calling ahead to get us the best seats and making sure the wineries were ready for is when we got there. His van was great! We only had 4 people but it could comfortably fit 12 with plenty of room for everyone and on a hot 105° degree day, Nathan kept the van nice and cool for us throughout the day! We had an absolute blast all day and got to try so many great wines in the Applegate region, which I highly recommend everyone trying!

This was a wonderful way to visit wineries. We submitted a list of some wineries we would like to…read morego to and three were selected. There were seven in our group and about eight other people onboard. Water (and rubber bands to help with hair in the wind) was provided on the trolley along with music and laughter. Kari was our hostess and told us a little bit about each of the wineries that we visited. Charcuterie was included while we sat by the Applegate River and tasted at Red Lily. We all agreed that it was one of the most fun days ever!
