I paid that but minutes later a friend of mine said she could join so I paid an additional $444 for the two of us to do a tour, assuming Paul would gladly refund the first payment. He refunded only $222. When I texted him explaining the miscalculation, he ignored it completely and never paid me back the additional $111. On top of that, I actually had a family emergency arise a couple days before the scheduled tour and requested a full refund. my sister's baby was stillborn and I needed to go home to support her. He showed zero consideration for this matter and again ignored my txt requesting the refund. I ended up finally having my friend go and invite someone else so as it all not going to total waste. But he still owes me $111 which he refuses to pay. He also went on to harass my friend online after the tour. This guy is False Light. Do not support him.

Now I understand that in mountaineering weather plays a deciding role in if a summit is reached or not, but it seems to me like reaching the summit is NOT a priority at ALL. I mean ZERO priority. On this second trip, I was also told by one of the guides that my "footwork" was not good enough (whatever that means), so I was forbidden to head up towards the red banks. Meanwhile, I was in lockstep with the rest of my crew, and was not complaining, for a major blister I had on my heal. After having spent $3,000+ for the guides, (not to mention all other associated costs) they served ramen noodles with frozen meatballs in a cup. (Not a plate, meaning portions were tiny). Personally, I find their guidance underwhelming, and for someone to decide whether or not I can climb is preposterous. I do not recommend this company.

While the route…read moredescription is very straightfoward online, it has a lot of potential to be overlooked by heart. I rated 4 stars because this is definitely a passion project and you really have to be on your A-game if you book with these guides. The guides are professionals and they expect you to be just as prepared as they are -- especially on a physical level. If you can't stay on their pace due to timing, expect not to summit. I cannot emphasize this enough. DO NOT TAKE THE TRAINING EXPECTATIONS LIGHTLY. Coming from someone who did not train as vigorously as I had originally planned, I did not make it very far on my own accord. Secondly, make sure you are aware of every element of the trip. I booked for the summer and expected there to be snow. Snow = cold, but I did not brace myself for the extreme heat conditions at the base of the mountain and start of the ascent. We had a late start at around 11 AM, so you will not be starting early if that's what your expectations were. Most people I talked to in the lot started at 1:30 AM to beat the heat. Drink the required amount of water before your trip so you stay hydrated. If you feel thirsty at the start, you're already behind on hydration. While I did not summit, I have been inspired to definitely try this again when I'm more prepared. Thank you to my guides! You guys were amazing!

I brought my 8-year-old son Brandon along for his first real fly fishing adventure, and Jack made it a day we'll both remember forever. From the moment we hit the water, Jack was patient, knowledgeable, and great with my son. The float down the river was absolutely stunning, and the fishing action was steady throughout the day. Jack knew exactly where to go, and we hooked into some beautiful rainbows... 12 strikes and 9 landed, some north of 18 inches. Jack grilled up a hot ribeye steak lunch riverside--seriously next level. It felt more like a gourmet adventure than a fishing trip at times. Spotting wildlife along the river including deer and a bald eagle as we tackled the mild rapids was awesome! I've fished this river from the banks for years, but the float trip really gets you to locations that you can't otherwise access.
