I began seeing him for some serious issues with early onset psoriatic arthritis as well as my regular primary care physician in the early 2000's within our hometown of Stanwood. For approx ten years he provided me with excellent care and referrals to specialists and I always felt like he genuinely cared about his patients and that my well being mattered to him. I can recall that he had delivered so many babies in the town and surrounding area that he devoted an entire wall of photos with happy parents and their newborns. He loved people and was always a pleasure to see. I always felt I could be open and honest to trust him with any issue I chose to share with him. Eventually the clinic in Stanwood had been bought out by a larger healthcare company (as most have over the years) and I lost touch with where Dr Grierson had gone following his departure. So after about 3 years luck was on my side and I had heard that he was once again practicing just a few miles away in Marysville. Although the quality care and help he gave me was always present, the corporate care structure is a little different and not for the better in my opinion, but I was grateful to be able to get in to see him again and I still remain a client today. I just want to thank him and say that no matter what the circumstances, he's an exceptional healthcare professional and a great person. If he returns to practice at some point I would be one of the many patients trying to get onto his patient list because he's a valuable asset to the healthcare industry and part of what makes the American healthcare system a little more tolerable.
