I've been under the care of Dr. Albrecht for some years now. I've never known a physician so caring…read moreand so thorough in his treatment and manner. There's a calm gentleness about him I've never experienced with any other physician. His staff adores him and I can see why. I feel the same way about him--and about them, too. I had chronically high--very high--blood pressure which he finally helped bring under control. He goes beyond simply treating kidney issues by treating other problems which can affect the kidneys. Dr. Albrecht also delivers solid advice for how to prevent some problems from getting worse, again in a calm, gentle manner which is never 'preachy' like it can be with other medical professionals. I highly recommend Dr. Albrecht and his staff to anyone in need of a great nephrologist. I don't mind sharing. Truly, I don't.

I feel that when we call, we are not that important. The tone of the person says that she is upset with us calling. I just asked about my husband's appointment time and day. It's like we interrupted something important that she needed to do. When we talk to her in about making a payment, she is not very friendly. I feel like she is more important and shouldn't have to explain anything to us. I like paying my co pays after the appointment. That way it's paid. The last time I was told there was no co pay. We thought that his deductible was meet for the year. It was someone else who said this not the main person. It would have been nice to have the main person acknowledge that she saw us by her head or hand movements. Both people were on the phone when we came in. We had to go sit down as my husband is in a walker and could not stand too long. The other person helped us when we acknowledged who we were. The other person was a substitute for the regular person, who takes us back to the room. Oh well, at least we love to come and see the doctor. I miss the other staff who showed they enjoyed their job.

I thought long and hard before writing this review. My goal here is simply to let others know about…read moremy experience, so they can make an informed decision before coming here. I had a terrible experience with Dr. Kim. Her behavior towards me was completely lacking in empathy and kindness. She did not listen to me, and interrupted/cut me off/talked over me every time I tried to say something, even after I asked her not to. She made very unkind and judgmental comments, such as "And why do you think that's working?" She refused to help when I asked for it. When the appointment was over, she rudely said "OK then let's go" as I was trying to collect myself and my belongings. Zero stars -- do not recommend. Other doctors here may be kind and empathic, but Dr. Kim is not.

My lady had an appointment to see him early. Let me say that i really do not like doctors and rarely visit one myself. I have to be almost dead to go. Lol It was my first time meeting Dr. Joo. I found him to be a extremely likable, with a wonderful and pleasant chairside manner. He took the time to talk to her and not about her, as if she were not there. He took care of her problem and gave her a lot of great information to better take care of her health. She left with a smile on her face and hope for improved health. I was impressed with him and will be taking her to see him again in the coming months. Thank you, Dr. Joo, for making our visit a nice one.
