We are snowmobiling this weekend in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and we always stop at Roger's Bar. The place is always busy and the staff are always hustling ! They are happy you are there and we are always happy to be there ! Hidden gem in the Northwoods! We were vacationing in the area and had multiple locals recommend Roger's Bar. So we took a drive on a rainy day for lunch and a cocktail. The bar has deep history and has been family owned for many years. Owners and bartenders were friendly and food was good. Tater Kegs were great and the pizza, although frozen, was really good! Apparently it is a local pizza place in the area called Luigi's. We liked it so much we went back a week later. I also made a new friend! This sweet girl made the rounds to visit in the bar. Cold Beer, Pizza, and a dog! What else can you ask for? read more

Wow this place is just the best! It's in the middle of the woods and such a fun local place, but welcoming of newbies. The bartender loaned us her personal cribbage board and make us "mini beer" shots. I will definitely make the trek to watersmeet again just for this bar. read more

Always friendly, wood burning is going in the winter to warm you up from coming off the trails. The chili is amazing. MI trail passes are sold here as well if. read more

I went to this fine restaurant about a year ago it was perfect the dining experience yes like a bar from the 90s it was perfect.

I have been coming up snowmobiling for years and never missed a stop at Rogers Bar. It is a great little bar to warm up and get a cup of the best chilli in the north woods. Sue is the nicest lady you will ever meet. You will be glad you stopped. read more

An okay stop right off trail 13 in Watersmeet. A bit cramped, especially in peak sledding season but they offer cheap refreshments all the same so stop by but don't plan on spending the whole day! read more

We love this cozy little bar!!!! We stopped in while snowmobiling for a quick bite to eat and some drinks and we were blown away by the service. The owners are awesome people who work very hard! After having a few drinks and dinner we asked the owner the best way to get back to our cabin (very cold night and a long day of riding) he gave us directions via a few service roads for easier and faster riding. Then he offered to get in his truck and meet us at a few intersections to make sure we didn't get off the route! He spent a good 20 min driving around making sure we didn't get lost! WHO DOES THIS?!? They are amazing people! This will be one of our all time favorite stops for sure! read more

Great little spot on the sledding trails of the "UP". The warm, Family atmosphere makes it an easy decision to stop in and grab a refreshment as you make the rounds on the trails. I have been there 3 times now and each time, the ladies slinging the sodas are not only friendly and willing to snap a few shots of the sledding group, but they also give you the local scuttlebutt about riding conditions and the safety. The ladies of Rogers don't just say all is well, they actually give you tips on the groomed runs and the stories of riders who went wrong. I would make this an early stop on your "UP" run, because they tell you the "bad" stories and tell you the dangers they have heard to avoid. read more
