The overall look around they do for your car when it comes in is appreciated, and they won't try to sell you on work you don't need then and there. I had told them this car was needed for a trip deep into Montana, and was excited to have a refreshed engine to reliably make that trip. When I received my car back, I noticed a couple bits had not been put back together correctly. Should have been a MAJOR red flag. Not only did K&S manage to crack part of my radiator, they didn't own up to it! Driving down the freeway the radiator blew the top hose from the flange they cracked. I limped the car back and they said they'd take care of it. Surprise surprise, a nice $700 bill waited for me. I love my car and I'm dissatisfied and disappointed by the level of care not taken. It's still missing multiple bolts for attaching the fans back to the new radiator, and for my hood prop. Probably because they lost them and didn't even care to use a zip tie or just tell me. I wouldn't consider coming back here for something even if it fell under the warranty. Thanks for the sh*tty work K&S! Won't be coming back!

I had one primary issue, but also mentioned two more minor things just for the advisor's awareness (since I thought they may be related). I was also told the evaluation would be done by a certain date, but it wasn't done until a day and a half later after stopping by and calling to check the status. Their labor rate isn't listed, so be sure to ask and be extremely clear about exactly what you want if you choose to go here. Although each shop can choose their own rates and how many labor hours to charge, when I called around after the fact, they were definitely on the high end. Thankfully the work hasn't had any issues, and they seem to have a good warranty... although I hope I don't need to go back there as my impression was that the advisor was indifferent whether I was a customer or not.
