Service was fine but the shoes are waaayy to expensive. Got a pair of BASIC black shoes for work ( I'm a bus driver ) cost 95.00!!!! Needed some boots for work and got steel toed black boots that are water proof at Walmart for 35.00. No more Rogan for this family. read more

Rogan's used to be THE place to go for shoes. Dress shoes, work shoes, running shoes, sandals, winter boots, hiking boots, you name it. It was an excellent store/business that was managed well, and as a result, it was efficient and comprehensive in its stock and its operations. My family and I used to go literally nowhere else but Rogan's. They had the wide widths that two of us need. The running shoes were labelled for things such as Stability, Motion Control, Neutral, and so on, and even with their levels, according to the degree to which they provided that particular correction for your feet. It was marvelous and SO helpful! Rogan's could even get shoes that you needed from their other stores if the location you were at didn't have your exact size, and they sent them to your home for no extra cost. Salespeople were there when you needed them, and they had a lot of expertise. It was top-notch in every way. We always had positive experiences and were always 100% pleased. However -- The recent buy-out or merger with Shoe Carnival / Shoe Station has resulted in many dreadful changes. It's a total change for the worse, in every possible way. The selection is stripped-down horribly - models of shoes are just gone, and there are lengths and lengths of empty shelves, making it appear as if it's going out of business. Keen, Brooks, and many other brands are excluded from the Rogan's delightful policy of "buy one, get one half" that they used to have on everything. When I asked about wide widths for running shoes, the young man at the register told me that they don't carry them much (if at all) anymore. The recent detrimental reviews reflect all of these terrible changes. I'm so sorry and sad that this has happened. I do not recommend Rogan's at all anymore. It's a HUGE let-down. Been shopping here for 15 years always got good product good service, good selection of Merril. All that has changed, poor selection( no women's Merrils), poor service, just terrible compared to past experiences. Going to be trying some new places to buy my families shoes. Maybe check back in a year or 2 to see if they get it together and start back to being professional. read more

This place is next to a nail salon. If you got a lung or allergy problem do not shop here. The nail polish smell was so strong I couldn't stay in the store more then a few minutes. You are also on your own here nobody makes an effort to assist you. read more

This review is for Erin the assistant manager. My husband whom works outside on his feet came in on a Sunday to get work boots. After hours trying different boots on, he went with a pair. He tried them on Monday for work and they cut up his feet. Long story short, we brought them back with a receipt on Tuesday and Erin was completely unprofessional and mean. It was our first time returning a pair of shoes and she was awful to my husband. So terrible that even the employees were put off by it. We had great service from Rob and we will be contacting the "higher ups" in Rogans. I surely wouldn't want someone like this in my store with poor sales and customer service! I've been to this location before, and had a good experience. This trip was for my husband, mostly, and we were less than impressed. On a slow night (we seemed to be the only customers in the store when we arrived) they had four employees standing by the entrance, chatting. The three ladies just stared at us as we walked in, and the young man asked if we needed help finding anything. We told him we were looking for Vibrams, and he said he didn't know what we were talking about. So we changed our quest to minimalist shoes (You know, the ones with toes?), and he informed us they used to have one type available, but no longer carry it. Fine. Then he said, just check out the running shoes and left us to shop on our own. Long story short, they had Vibrams, but not the type we were looking for, and had little else we were interested in. What we were interested in didn't have our sizes. The whole experience was disappointing, especially since their shelves should have been chock full with so many people standing around. read more

Robert...this review is for you!! Rogan's is my Go To place for athletic shoes! They have a wide selection and you can't beat the ongoing But One get One Half Off deal! The best part is you don't have to get the second pair right away. Save your receipt and you can get the deal the next time you are in. The staff has always been friendly. They are usually near the front of the store and offer their assistance when you walk in. But, not the annoying way where they start following you around trying to make a sale. They simply say Hello and let you know they are there to help if you need. Exactly what I like!! They also have a check-in special of a free can of shoe protectant. How cool! I got Great service from Robert yesterday! He wasn't familiar with Yelp so we chatted and I gave him a quick lesson. I left with a smile on my face. read more

Poor selection. I've been here two winters in a row looking for winter boots and their selection is either completely picked over and not restocked (or perhaps they didn't carry much to begin with). Winter boots should be in stock in January! They did offer to order other sizes from another store but there just weren't any options to start with. Also, I drive all the way to a store so that I can try on and leave with the item. If I was going to order I would do it on Zappos or Amazon! Two stars from me. read more

I cannot believe how many poor ratings you have, I then have the question is management doing anything about it? I was in the store ( 76th and Forest Home ) January 5 at about 3 pm. A young guy with grey slacks was waiting on me. I was looking for steel toes, we went to another section of the store which was all steel toe shoes. I asked him to measure my feet. He went to look for the device. He never came back!!!! And look here, right on this rack plane as day is the device he's looking for. another young gal walked by (if management is looking , a petite gal 5 ft 2 maybe) walks by I say hi and she continues walking, doesn't say anything. I thought she was on break, she did have a jacket on. I look down the isle and she's helping someone else. I quietly walked out of the store never seeing the guy that was waiting on me. They certainly must not work on commission. These employees don't care about there jobs or the customers. read more

I have gone in there at least three separate times. I think some of the shoes are a bit over priced because of their buy one get the second half off deal, so I have never found a "deal". Beware of the return policy. Staff can be rude. read more

Rogan's Shoes is awesome. They have good quality products, and the "Buy One, Get the 2nd for 1/2 Off" is a great deal. I bought 2 pairs of men's Florsheim dress shoes the price I would pay for one pair at the department or Florsheim store. I haven't even broken into the 2nd pair after wearing them to the office, 5 days a week, for over a year. They still shine up nice! read more

Always like going to Rogan's because it's close to home and enjoy their buy one, get one half off sale. They have a wonderful variety of shoes so I decided to stop there and look since I could use a new pair, and one of the kids always seems to be outgrowing theirs or wanting something new. All in all, I was able to find what I was looking for, but was taken aback when I noticed one of the female employees in a sundress with a length comparable to a mini skirt! For a local store that prides itself as family owned, I think that this was far from appropriate. I am very likely to return again, but hope that next time, none of the staff is wearing a dress I wouldn't let my kids out in! read more
