Southridge Mall - View of photos ops on both levels

    Southridge Mall

I love Southridge! It's easily my favorite Milwaukee area mall. Store selection is great,…read moreespecially for someone who's plus size! Food options are affordable and typical for a mall food court. The Icee's at the combination Mrs. Fields & TCBY are made perfectly, and I definitely wish I got a large size instead of a small. Service was great at the few stores I visited (Torrid, Rally House, Hot Topic, and Claire's). If you like shopping or even walking a mall, I highly recommend taking the trip to Southridge for your next spree!

Southridge Mall in Greendale, Wisconsin has a lot of stores that bring back great memories for me…read more I had the occasion to visit the Mall recently after a 10-year hiatus. I was disappointed to see that some stores had relocated, but I was happy to see a lot of familiar stores prospering. I have always enjoyed ambience and aromas while walking the main corridor. The entire mall is blessed with staff that is very Wisconsin friendly. All were helpful in helping our small group find and direct us to the appropriate stores to make our purchases. We needed some special products and because of their help we were able to locate them. As we walked in the main corridor staff members were saying hello and giving out samples, including food and fragrances. The mall staff/security were very helpful also. We were trying to find the best place to stand to get public transportation. He not only told us, but he took us there and stayed with us until public transportation arrived. He was the perfect representative for Southridge Mall! Great stores such as Macy's, Bed Bath & Beyond, Starbucks, Mrs Fields, Cinnabon, Foot locker, Claire's, JCPenney and many others are all located at this mall. They're undergoing renovation but it is worth a trip. Easy parking in the front or behind for those that decide to drive. Public transportation from buses to trains have stops located near entrances. I hope new stores will find their way to this location.

Service was fine but the shoes are waaayy to expensive. Got a pair of BASIC black shoes for work (…read moreI'm a bus driver ) cost 95.00!!!! Needed some boots for work and got steel toed black boots that are water proof at Walmart for 35.00. No more Rogan for this family.

Rogan's used to be THE place to go for shoes. Dress shoes, work shoes, running shoes, sandals,…read morewinter boots, hiking boots, you name it. It was an excellent store/business that was managed well, and as a result, it was efficient and comprehensive in its stock and its operations. My family and I used to go literally nowhere else but Rogan's. They had the wide widths that two of us need. The running shoes were labelled for things such as Stability, Motion Control, Neutral, and so on, and even with their levels, according to the degree to which they provided that particular correction for your feet. It was marvelous and SO helpful! Rogan's could even get shoes that you needed from their other stores if the location you were at didn't have your exact size, and they sent them to your home for no extra cost. Salespeople were there when you needed them, and they had a lot of expertise. It was top-notch in every way. We always had positive experiences and were always 100% pleased. However -- The recent buy-out or merger with Shoe Carnival / Shoe Station has resulted in many dreadful changes. It's a total change for the worse, in every possible way. The selection is stripped-down horribly - models of shoes are just gone, and there are lengths and lengths of empty shelves, making it appear as if it's going out of business. Keen, Brooks, and many other brands are excluded from the Rogan's delightful policy of "buy one, get one half" that they used to have on everything. When I asked about wide widths for running shoes, the young man at the register told me that they don't carry them much (if at all) anymore. The recent detrimental reviews reflect all of these terrible changes. I'm so sorry and sad that this has happened. I do not recommend Rogan's at all anymore. It's a HUGE let-down. Rogan's, please come back!!!

SKECHERS Warehouse Outlet - Tons of stock

First time visit to this store. I was very impressed by the array and quantity of the shoes on…read moredisplay, though my shoe size (8.5) was a bit sparse in their inventory. While perusing the many aisles, I was approached by two different sales people at different times who were very polite, offering help. When told no thanks, they left me alone which I appreciated, as opposed to some other stores that have sales people that "helicopter" their shoppers. When finding one of the pair of shoes I wanted in my size, I grabbed the box and realized that it only had one shoe in it; the other was the display model. I brought them to the checkout area and asked a woman behind the register, whom I believe was the store manager, to verify it was okay to use the display shoe. I then asked her if she could keep the shoes there for me while I continued shopping. Though little was said, she was very unfriendly and curt in her response. When taking the second pair of shoes I found in my size, the same thing occurred. I picked up the shoe box in my size and discovered that it, too, was missing a shoe and the other was the display model. I also brought this to the register with the same lady store manager and said, "Would you believe that both shoes I wanted to buy today in my size were used for the display? Isn't that funny?" ... referring to the coincidence and irony. Apparently, my comment irritated her because she made a face at me and rudely admonished me with some garbage about their inventory and store policy. The store has a large parking lot and shouldn't be a problem parking. All-in-all, this store deserves at least a four (4) star rating, but the fact that this woman behind the counter and most probably the store manager was so unfriendly, surly and rude to me, they get three stars.

Our experience here was ok. They have a large variety of Skechers to choose from, yet somehow we didn't find anything we were excited enough about to try on. We also expected their prices to be more of a bargain, when, in actuality they're pretty much what you would pay any where else in town. The whole vibe of the store is a bit haphazard and while there's tons of stock, there's not necessarily tons of stock in a variety of sizes (ie: not all sizes were represented). All in all, a bit of a ho-hum experience. I wouldn't likely make the trip to Greenfield for it when I can find Skechers at similar prices at other retailers closer by.
