Even after leaving and waiting outside the store they came out and told us to get off their property or they would call the cops even when we moved to the public sidewalk? Once my Friends Parent came to confront the worker, they denied it but the other employees didn't? And Even a Different Dunham's Employee said, "I see where your child gets it from" Is that what a Dunham's Employee should say? and to the Dunham's Employee you know who you are the situation could have been handle way better than how you and your fellow coworkers handled it.

Please allow me to preface this review by saying the following...if you are looking for a quick…read morereview, this isn't it. The next matter is very simple, it's just in multiple "parts". I state my case according to the following adage, If you haven't done anything wrong, you have NOTHING to worry about. I went to Dunham's on South 27th Street ( in Milwaukee ), to look for a specific firearm for ownership. There is a fair to good selection to choose from. Honestly, there is about a 60% chance you WILL find what you want at this particular Dunham's Sports location. If you want something specific , you will either order the item requested through the store, or order the item online and pass delivery to a retailer/ dealer who has a valid FFL, or do what I did.... keep shopping until you find the one you sought for soooo long, like I did. Tim was the gentleman who assisted me with my purchase. He did a fine job. I wish him the best. I asked Tim if we could look at the item I wanted to purchase. He agreed. It took me about two minutes to decide which firearm to purchase. Then it gets easy. First....You pay for your "Background Check". Then you WAIT! Understand that the State has limited resources, and can't get back to Dunham's right away with a decision. Be patient, that's the State of Wisconsin and that Federal Government, not Dunham's. I went back the next day to pick up my firearm. Tim was there and ready to go. A fellow employee was also on hand to "second" the actual transaction. This is company policy...ROLL WITH IT...and again be patient. Tim presented me with a checklist that had to be completed with the sale, it's a great way to make sure all points are covered with the transaction. One other thing, PLEASE understand that Dunham's Senior Management at their Corporate Offices must also approve the sale of any firearm. This is an extra "layer of security". Tim and I went through every point on the checklist. I'm not going to tell you what's on this list, it would discourage cooperation, but the only point to this is true: "If you have done NOTHING wrong, You have nothing to worry about. The last point was to pay for the item, and be escorted to the door where Tim gave me the paperwork and then the firearm. This guy was GREAT, professional, thorough, and accommodating...HOWEVER, don't even ask for shortcuts, bypasses, or freebies.... Everything was done by the numbers, NO laws were broken. I received GREAT service and purchased a GREAT firearm at a GREAT price. The service was GREAT too. Thanks Tim. Thanks to Dunham's.... Well Done!!!

I actually came here this past weekend after searching for a local place that sold Aventon bikes. I…read morehad been researching the Aventon Level 3 online and was really hoping to be able to pick one up that weekend so I could use this summer, especially since gas prices have gone up and I can commute with it around Bayview to everywhere I need to go. When I walked in Jeremy greeted me and asked if I needed any assistance. I had already saw that they had the Aventon Sorella 3 and the Aventon Level 3 and 4 step-through bikes. So I asked him if the store had any Level 3 step overs and Jeremy said, "yes, we actually have one black one left, want me to bring it up?" I said sure--as that was the exact one and color I wanted. Jeremy brought up the bike and let me test ride it and let me just say that I knew after about 10 minutes that I was going to buy that bike. He let me know that the e-bike needed to get checked before I could pay for it and ride off into the sunset and luckily we had time to explore the store and I was able to take it home about 30 minutes later. Not only did he explain everything about the bike that I needed to know to safely operate it but he also answered all my questions about the tires and things that I never had to deal with on my triathlon bike. I have already ridden it about 15 miles and I cannot believe how much I would love an e-bike! I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated with the service here. They called me on Sunday at 5:58…read morePM to tell me my bike was ready--exactly two minutes before they closed. Because of the timing, I couldn't even pick it up until Tuesday. The pricing feels highly suspect. For a bike that costs $350 brand new, I was charged over $200 for a new rear tire, chain, and miscellaneous items. To make it worse, I paid an extra $30 for a "lifetime membership" because they promised it would give me reduced rates. Instead, my bill somehow jumped from a quoted $160 to $202. The math makes absolutely no sense. But the worst part is the complete lack of basic safety quality control. When I finally got the bike home, I realized the front brakes were completely unattached and just hanging there. This is a massive safety hazard. They kept my bike for days, charged me hundreds of dollars, and ultimately handed me back a bike that wasn't even safe to ride. Now I have to waste my own time and gas to go back and get them to finish the job. Take your bike somewhere else where they actually care about mechanical safety and honest pricing.

One thing I love about REI is the membership. The benefit of being able to return almost anything…read morewithin a year of purchase is really awesome, helpful, and convenient. With the membership, you also get 10% back on eligible items and free shipping with no minimum order. The downside I've found with REI, is that over the years REI has switched to selling more REI branded items instead of all of the other cool brands they used to offer. Their variety of brands has diminished from what I've seen, which is a bummer to me.

Neither did he give me the Impression that he hated his job. The second guy charismatically and professionally told me that what they had there was all they had and that he apologized for the inconvenience. There was no miscommunication nor misunderstanding. The second guy that helped me had to apologize for the first guy's behavior. As for me, I went to a different shop to buy myself shirts.
