Since relocating to Milwaukee from San Diego, Ca I had a hard time finding shops that felt like home to me. That was until I walked in to MODA3. The staff are friendly, welcoming, just the right amount of unpretentiousness and really helpful. The shop is a staple for individuals who used to skateboard like myself. Plenty of selections for sneaker heads, punkers, hip hop aficionados and just people with great style. Check them out in the Historic Third Ward! read more

This place has a really good vibe. They were super helpful without getting in the way. It was great to see and touch things in person. I was buying some official Brewers gear for a gift. So super great to buy from a local retailer and not deal with online but also not deal with crowds or pressure of the ball park. Plan to be back for some sneakers. read more

Just bought my 2nd pair of sneakers in the past week from this awesome independent shop. They had these sick Air Max 90s in my favorite purple cw and still at retail.Fastest delivery I have ever experienced-2 days flat. Customer service is great, and who else sends you hand-written service thanking you for your patronage and business. I'm guessing there will be a least a 3rd purchase in the near future!!! read more

This is a nice little boutique for those interested in street style. They've expanded their shoe offerings which is nice. It used to be pretty much only NIKE and only men's sizes. There is a lot of cool gear here from hats to socks to outerwear to underwear. One negative thing (and maybe this has been corrected) is that a few years ago I bought a Brewers t-shirt (approx $30-35) and the graphic on the front faded within six months no matter how I laundered the shirt (cold water, gentle cycle, hand wash, finally just throwing it in with everything else). It's a great spot if you're looking for unique gifts, as well. Right now the vibe is definitely 90's with massive graphics on t's and rave-inspired patterns. Check the sales racks/displays for some gems. Bucks championship hats were $10 the last time I was in there. read more

If you're looking for a cool and modern look, especially if you're into sneakers, then MODA3 is where you want to be. I'll start with sneakers because it's more my vibe. I saw current stock from Nike, New Balance, Vans, Saucony and Converse. Skate models are available, too. So are hard-to-find and special releases. Of note, if you're not local, most shoes are available online. I have used this method a few times. Browsing, buying and shipping are all done quickly and professionally. If you are local, there's plenty of clothing options available. The store has a Bucks section, a Brewers section and a MKE section with selections from Milwaukee brands. Each section provides a wide and diverse stock with something for everybody. There additional and non-Milwaukee-focused clothing options available. Accessories, including watches, back packs, bags and sunglasses, too. The staff can be a bit too cool, however they are knowledgeable and willing to help. read more

So Vans have been sold out of the "Made for the Makers 2.0" for awhile but ma chinka wanted a pair so here I was, trying my best to surprise her but no sneakers no mas. And inexplicably, I was up at 3:30 am, couldn't sleep and started googling stuff and came across the kicks in her size. Half way across the country? Ok! Got em for her, had em shipped and they look so good, got myself a pair too. Love the little note they enclosed, made me feel like a part of the fam. read more

I've never actually bought anything here, but it's a cool spot. They've got unique designs for Wisconsin sports teams, which are super cool.

Went into the store today and found a pair of shoes I liked so they offered to set them aside at the front counter. When I went to checkout the cashier couldn't find the shoes I picked out. Apparently they had sold them to the person who checked out in front of me. What a bunch of airheads they've hired at MODA3. Fix your processes read more

If you're looking for Sneakers that you won't see in your average Footlocker or sports store, this is the place to shop. Not only do they sell FLY kicks they also have really cool apparel and accessories. Prices are not bad for their selections that they offer. read more

Somehow I haven't reviewed this place yet. Top notch service and a great selection of hats, t-shirts, Bucks and Brewers gear, and especially SNEAKS. This is the best place to buy sneakers in Milwaukee. They have a great seasonal selection and a 'last pair' sale rack, and they post on social media when they get new stock in so it's easy to keep up with what they have. I'm in here buying sneaks every spring and fall at the very least, a casual dress code at work means I need to keep my shoe game crisp. Thanks to Moda3 for making that happen! 6 stars if I could! read more

MODA3 - Air max 1 - Shoe Stores Near Me - Milwaukee, Wisconsin

It pains me to leave this review, it really does, but I think it fair that management have this feedback and that other consumers can benefit from my experience. I've been a skater and snowboarder forever (well, let's just say well over 40 years). I also really appreciate how hard it is to run a local business among the fierce competition online. I resolved, therefore, to do my Christmas shopping locally. One of the last item I purchased was a Burton travel snowboard bag (a wheelie bag). I went to Moda3 and was given decent service which has generally been my experience there. I picked out a bag, paid at the counter. This wasn't the issue. When I got home I set about boxing and wrapping the bag as it was a gift. In doing so I noticed that the price tag (that was attached to the pocket zipper) said $129.00. Referring to the receipt, however, I was charged an even $150.00. I went back to the store today with the receipt and price tag in hand. What ensued is the problem - really poor customer service. The first thing that happened was something akin to an argument in which I was basically being accused of not having the right tag. "This isn't even a SKU that I can find..." "This item is actually still in our inventory..." "Do you have any other tags for this bag..." "What color was this bag..." I'll remind you that I'm standing there with the actual receipt for the item. This went on for some time them another man approached the counter. I recognized him from the original transaction. He indeed remembered that I had purchased last year's model bag and the price had increased this year. In other words, he was confirming that the store had charged me incorrectly. It was also notable that the original charge was for $150.00, a price that didn't exist on *any* burton bags (the new price was $159.00). So, several problems. They did not take the time to find the correct price the first time around, and it would not take much. To reiterate, the tag was attached to the zipper of the bag. Second, I, nor any customer, wants to be treated like we're being accused of something. The right thing to do is resolve the issue and assure the customer that you'll get it right. This only happened because someone else came up and corroborated which bag I had gotten. After they finally processed a refund for the difference, I said "thanks." Dead silence, except for the sound of my original receipt being destroyed an thrown away. First, I may need that receipt. If the airline wrecks the bag, they'll want it and sure enough the Burton warranty card on the bag says right on it "original store receipt." Lastly, who should be thanking who here? I went out of my way to patronize your local business and ultimately felt punished for doing so. I wound up paying considerably more than I could have online for the same bag. In doing so to patronize a local business, one of the things consumers look for in return is excellent service. read more

Back to the reviews again... First trip to Milwaukee, and what is one of the first things you have to do... Of course check out some show stores to see what kinds of kicks they have. If you are a fan of skateboarding, snowboarding, boarding in general.. you will definitely like this place. But I have to hold this place to a higher esteem, because I am a fan of original shoes, which this place has a ridiculous amount of. Also, when the shoes have been on the shelves a while they discount them down greatly!!! I was going to get some First Rounds... but they unfortunately didnt have the size... The only reason why this place wouldnt get 5 stars. Chicago needs a shop like this... Were expensive. Thanks Moda3 and Milwaukee for having a great shoe selection! read more

I had been looking for Nike Vapor Max Plus for a birthday present with no luck. All sold out in a specific size. I happened to come across Moda3's website online selling the shoes I've been looking for. I was spectacle about placing the order as I have never heard of Moda3. I looked up reviews and saw lots of positive feedback. I went ahead and placed the order. I'm glad I did! I received my order the next day! Talk about fast shipping! Exactly what I wanted and ordered. It even came with a personal message on the invoice thanking me for my order. Thank you Moda 3! read more

Awesome spot in the third ward! I always bring friends here while they are in from out of town. Such a gem!

Amazing staff, always super helpful and knowledgeable about their products. Best street wear shop in Milwaukee (along with sky high)

Walked in and they were playing music with explicit lyrics. Not cool. I was glad we didn't have any kids with us.

I purchased a pair of Nike SB Dunks online and received them within 5 days (Shipped to Chicago). The shoes sold out quick so I am beyond grateful that I was able to purchase the exact size I wanted. The shoes and box came in perfect condition. I will definitely be returning! read more

Went in store and bought a shirt marked Large. When I got home and tried it on it was actually a medium, to which Moda3 mislabeled. After I went back to return it, Employees wouldn't let me return my item because it was worn, and wouldn't give me my money back from a mistake they made. Wouldn't recommend to anyone read more

Great selection of quality street clothes and shoes, excellent service and it's local!

One of the best store in Milwaukee! Always stocking some of the best clothing items! Great customer service and friendly staff!!!

Been going here since day 1. Only place in Milwaukee I've come across Kidrobot, The Hundreds, Primitive. Largest snowboard hardware/softgoods selection in the area. All the guys down there are super knowledgeable and helpful. Parking can be a pain but it's the third ward so it's expected. Prices all match MSRP per a company/brand so those that claim "expensive" just aren't informed, but that's just me. Going to definitely be a lifetime customer read more

One of the most unique variety of apparel brands in the city. Plus they carry best selection of Bucks Gear in the city.

The best staff, hard to find product, a slick store... I've been a Moda 3 fan since the first time I stepped foot in their spot. Best shop in the Milwaukee area to find streetwear brands, and many other goodies you can't find at the mall. read more

Great selection for all your street wear, snow, and skate needs. Very knowledgable and helpful staff.

I have been going to Moda3 for a couple years. I originally was told about it from friends of mine who skateboard. I have stopped in recently, and something just seems different. I used to be able to find some good urban clothing, but it seems to have turned to mostly skateboarding and snowboarding exclusively. They just don't seem to have any deals, so most of the clothing is fairly expensive. I have had $75 on a gift card for over a year, and I actually had trouble spending it the last couple times I went in. I will probably just use it toward a new pair of shoes soon. They still seem to have decent T-shirt variety. They are also the only place to get Kidrobot around here, so that's a plus. read more

It's really the only place I shop ‍. Coolest dudes, best street wear and the freshest shoes in Milwaukee. Been shopping here for 10+ years. I go here because the shop is spotless, they have a massive selection of fresh and unique clothing, knowledgeable staff that remembers your name and most importantly they are focused on our community.
