Stopped by here yesterday for the first time. I thought it was a new shop although the cashier said they've been around for quite a while. They have really cute gifty type merchandise. When I walked in, I saw some coasters and I immediately recognized the artist - it was from Polka Dot Mitten in Saugatuck (I had just been to that store and bought one a few weeks ago), which was fun. They're also doing a promotion with some Main Street restaurants right now, if you purchase something there and then show the slip of paper at the restaurant, you get $10 off your next meal there. And vice versa, if you go to the restaurant, and then show the slip of paper at the store, you get 20% off one item. I ended up getting a cute owl type figurine for my mom, it was about $10 which was reasonable. Cute store and I will stop by next time I'm in Ann Arbor. read more

A bit of roaming in downtown Ann Arbor, Michigan to sightsee the sights and see the University of Michigan campus. So much blue and gold here. I needed souvenirs to buy for my co-workers back home and I didn't want to just hit up the airport gift shop on my way out. I wanted to support local businesses who make vintage quality souvenir magnets - similar to what you'd find at the airport but not at the airport. I was with my friend on a brisk Friday evening and we stumbled upon this place. We had asked around for souvenir shops in the vicinity, but ended up here at Roeda Studios. They actually had what I wanted here and thankful that I didn't have to go all over Ann Arbor to get it. In hindsight, Detroit airport didn't have much anyway and I was glad that I came here for souvenirs. We entered around 6pm, exhausted after searching through 3 nearby shops. When the cashier told us they carried Michigan inspired souvenirs, I was happy and thankful that the search was over. Roeda Studios is one of those stores that carries an assortment of trinkets and cute household things that you can decorate your home or office with. There's plenty of Michigan inspired items along with some University of Michigan logo items too. The store itself is very organized and meticulously clean. Just glad that I didn't need to buy at the airport on my way out in Detroit. The overall experience here at Roeda Studios here in downtown Ann Arbor, Michigan was quite nice and easy. I took about 30 minutes here browsing and shopping for those souvenir magnets that my coworkers love to have. I did enjoy the ambiance of this cute boutique store. Don't know if they had any public WiFi, but pretty sure they had central air conditioning. Roeda Studios is located at 319 S Main Street in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor, Michigan. They accept major credit cards and cash. Perfect for us out of towners, who are always on the go. We ended up parking at a parking garage that was about 2 blocks away. Kind of perfect though, especially with a low parking fee to park for 2 hours or so. Not sure about Ann Arbor's public transportation options, but best bet would be your own private car or rental. Or if you need it: uber or Lyft is at your service too. Roeda Studios has your Michigan inspired tourist souvenirs and ideas on how to spruce up your home decor or office space. Quite a nice little shop that I happen to stumble into. For the most part though, the experience here at Roeda Studios was quite uneventful and great that I didn't have to run around downtown Ann Arbor for Michigan inspired souvenirs. The service was friendly and quick. I'm glad my friend and I came here and, while prices here can be above average for touristy souvenirs, you can be sure that you do get a quality product here. My reference would be the $6 magnets you find at the typical airport kiosk to $10+ unique ones you find here at Roeda, if you were to find something special for Michigan. Not sure if they have central air conditioning or public WiFi though, but the shopping experience was quick enough to where I didn't notice one bit. I would definitely recommend coming here for your home decor or office space sprucing needs, as well as Michigan inspired souvenir magnets. If you're ever in downtown Ann Arbor, swing on by. They'll be glad to help you out with that you need. Come on by, they would love to see you. No trip to Ann Arbor is complete without a quick stop to Roeda. No matter how many times I visit, I always find something new, some little whimsy that needs to come home with me. While adorable magnets with super-strong hold may be their specialty, there is no lack of unique greeting cards, kitchen accoutrements such as towels and serving dishes, lotion bars (a must for the cold and dry Michigan winters), and giftable items, even if the recipient is you. Visiting Roeda helped round out my Christmas list this season. I hope that the people getting my gifts will be just as excited to receive them as I was to pick them out at Roeda! read more

This is a cute gift and stationery store, perhaps better for holiday shopping than early summer for most. It was bright and well designed and the staff was very friendly. I saw two tiny items more unique than usual for a similar shop I have frequented so I got them here to save for birthday gifts later in the summer. If I lived in Ann Arbor I would probably shop here occasionally. read more

Such a cute store in the heart of Ann Arbor. A perfect stop during a night on the town or on the walk to a restaurant. Great spot to buy souvenirs or just something to spice up your garden. Love the fact that everything is locally made. The staff are kind and always looking to help. The employee with the bandana was especially great! Stopped in to Roeda while visiting A2 for the afternoon to explore local art galleries. The business is advertised on Yelp as an art gallery first, but I don't know that I'd call this business an art gallery. It was more-so a craft supply, hobby shop, and home decor store in my opinion. It's worth checking out if you are looking for a new project, but don't expect to see one of a kind paintings, mixed media, or sculptures that you would find in an 'art gallery'. read more

This studio is like a Pinterester's wet dream. Gross, sorry. But there are tons of crafty things here that tons of women in their 30s would see and go, "Wow, I could TOTALLY do this!" or, "Why didn't I think of that!??" Unlike other similar shops I've been to, this one is not really overpriced. The prices seem appropriate. I got a present for someone that I honestly COULD have made myself....if I had had the time, creativity, and patience to follow through. Cute. I usually shy away from cute. That's the only way I can describe the merchandise in this store...and I totally loved it. It's like life size, magnetic, scrap book-like things. I'm sure you're thinking, huh?. Just stop in there the next time you're strolling down Main Street. Oh, and if you have your husband, boyfriend or brother with you, just tell them to wait outside. Very cute store. Simply magnets and magnet boards, which at first I couldn't believe you could have a store just for that, but once you see their products you'll understand. This looks like hand crafted, higher quality home accessories. Great variety: sports teams, holidays, hobbies. Moderately expensive, but for the quality I think it's worth it. read more

This place is a GREAT store to bring your mom or your best friend who like crafty things! At first, I wasn't into it... now I just love it. I blame my 30th birthday! There are these boards that you can buy fancy magnets for and then use them as picture frames. None of the stuff they sell is what you need, but if you are the right demographic, chances are it is something you will want! Have fun! read more

I just love this store! If you want really cool and unique magnets then this is the store for you. My favorite magnets include a small skull with rhinestone eyes and small birds that are so glittery and beautiful. Lots of lake/beach stuff, UM/M-State stuff, gifts/cards, etc. to peruse. Most fun item I saw yesterday was a carbon filled hour-glass which magnetized to its stand. Really cool. Prices are good, staff is friendly and helpful. read more

There are so many cozy things here. So unique and beautiful. The only reason of minus is the cost. They are too expensive.
