I politely asked her if I'm able to take them off when need be, she got all super defensive about it and told me that I stripped them. Lol.....we exchanged words and then asked if I'm not able to get my lug nuts off will they take em off for me. Tricia and the mechanic Bill said once I leave the parking lot I'm on my own. Tricia is the worse manager I've ever seen in the history of an auto shop. Who calls their customer names? She called me a dumbass and so on, in exchange she got an ear full from me as well. Even the other customers said I wasn't in the wrong and AutoMax broke their engine by doing some work and not putting any oil in it. AutoMax is has the worse customer service ever...if anyone needs work done I recommend Vidal Auto Services across the street from them. I took my truck right across to Vidal's, they looked at the lug nuts and said they are pretty much stripped. They said if they were the ones who stripped the lug nuts while taking them off they would of replaced them or been honest with me about it.

The new auto experience was sublime but then I realized I was only going 20 mph and making farting noises. An auto repair shop recommended Auto Max for exhaust problems, so I called them up and they told me to bring the car in. There was no wait and my Honda was immediately inspected by a mechanic. He showed me what was causing the problem and gave me a quote. He didn't use any salesman tactics on me or pressure me into a decision. Based on my few minutes of Google research, I thought the quote was fairly reasonable. Within the hour, my car was back into its old self and not making farting noises. While I sat in their waiting room, I watched the front desk person interact with customers and I noticed they were friendly and did not use dirty sales tactics. I paid $3872, most of the cost was for labor because they did not quite know what they were doing, for repairs that should have cost $2,500. I brought my 2015 Nissan Rogue to Eden Prairie Nissan on 07/24/2026 for diagnosis of an airbag…read morewarning light and paid $189 for their diagnostic service. The service department pulled diagnostic trouble code B0020-13, described as an intermittent open circuit on the driver's front side (curtain) airbag. Based solely on this scanner code, the technician recommended replacing the driver's side curtain airbag assembly and rechecking operation afterward. I paid $189 expecting a proper professional diagnosis -- not just a code readout. Reading a diagnostic trouble code from the controller is something I could have gotten for free at O'Reilly Auto Parts or any similar store that offers free code scans. Standard diagnostic procedure for an intermittent open-circuit code like this calls for actually inspecting the wiring harness and connector for corrosion, damage, or looseness, and measuring circuit resistance, before condemning the airbag component itself -- intermittent faults are commonly caused by wiring/connector issues rather than a failed part. Eden Prairie Nissan did not perform or document any of this wiring-level troubleshooting. They went directly from a free-tier code reading to recommending replacement of a safety-critical, expensive component approximately $2000 estimated, without doing the additional diagnostic work I paid $189 for. I'm concerned that I paid for a professional diagnostic and received nothing beyond what a free code scan would have shown, and that I was being asked to authorize an unnecessary and costly repair without proper verification.

After the oil change and before I left, they gave me a list of things that were "wrong" ($5800) with my car. One major one was the valve cover gasket leaking. ($1700+) Leaving Honest 1 with a terrible feeling in my gut, I decided to go to get a different quote. That is where All Imports & Domestic came into play. I called them and talked to Michael and we scheduled for me to come in that day to have them look at the quote I got from Honest 1. I knew I needed new tires and some front end work (Thanks MN roads) and Michael suggested that they clean my entire engine and put dye in the oil to see where the leak(s) and coming from. He sent me a quote for the engine dye, front end work and new tires and on Tuesday of this week, I dropped my car off, hoping they didn't find the problems the Honest 1 told me about. Michael called me in the afternoon to tell me that it wasn't necessary to do the dye test because it is a very minimal leak and that also saw that my car had the wrong size tires on there...so he ordered ones that were right. I picked up my car and had a bill that was a little more then one of the jobs Honest 1 would have done that wasn't needed. This is going to be my forever go to place when I need a oil change or anything else for my current and future cars. Thank you so much Michael for all your help, honesty and being straight forward with me!!!

I definitely would recommended this shop as trustworthy, reliable and dependable which I can tell you is not the case with all places you might consider in Eagan. One place I would stay away from and this is getting side tracked but a relatively new chain which has two locations in Eagan and while I wont explicitly name them I'll just say this about them. They are not HONEST and they market themselves as being that along with being women friendly repair shop. I have first hand experience, knew a person that was honest and worked there and left because he could not in good conscience do what they were asking of him. One being constantly up selling folks and trying to get unneeded work done. My experience along with friend who worked there has also been collaborated by neighbors and friends in the community. Ok, I digress but try these guys are the complete opposite so out before you try any place claiming to be HONEST try the guys out or any other place for that matter.
