My first time here with a friend who celebrated his birthday.(Sunday Brunch) The salad bar was very tasty as I enjoyed whole asparagus, seafood salad, pot roast ( extremely tender) and a spicy vegetable salad. I didn't want to fill up on too much salad as I was here for the meats. For the most part, the selection of carved meat was impressive. The gauchos came around with many different selections while we were displaying green. They were very knowledgeable and generous with the portions. My only issues were that it took our server a while to get our first round of ice tea and waters. This lapse in service didn't last long as she greatly improved as time went on. The chicken wrapped in bacon was extremely dry and it probably should not have been served? A few minutes after, the manager came over to our table to ask if everything was ok. I mentioned that the chicken was dry and within five or so minutes, a gaucho brought over a fresh skewer of bacon wrapped chicken. Lastly, the pão de queijo ( cheese bread) was at room temperature. I still ate it but probably would have tasted better if it was served warm? My friend also received a nice piece of complementary birthday cake. For the most part, I definitely will return as I enjoyed both the salad bar and the meats. I also forgot to take pictures and will make sure to do so on my next visit. This is no fogo de chao but similar idea. The hot and cold salad bar was fresh and had great up keep but some of the options didn't look too appetizing because they were running low and you could tell some options had been out for a while. The meat itself was tasty but they weren't hot.. only the garlic parm steak was a warmer temp for some reason. I didn't like the Parmesan chicken it seemed undercooked. The beef options were good. Drinks were overly sweet (we had the mule and a passion fruit margarita. The ambience was underwhelming.. it was dark but not the nice , fancy dark. We arrived early before our reservation and had to wait an additional 30 minutes. When it was 10 minutes after our reservation, we asked the host about the wait, which she proceeded to tell us that they were waiting for a table to free up and that they had no time limit for tables. My children took me here for my birthday. I felt badly for them because this was a disappointing experience for every member of our party and it was costly. Every sampling of meat was bland and tough. The cocktails were so packed with ice that only 3 sips through the skinny cocktail straw emptied the glasses of liquor. For those of you who have also been to Fogo De Chao in Philly, you'll realize that Rodizio Grill, while very good, is on a smaller scale and the atmosphere is different. However, it is less expensive and and much closer for folks like me in the Voorhees/Cherry Hill areas. Plus there is free parking here! Myself and my guest thoroughly enjoyed all of the sizzling hot and very flavorful cuts of meats (of various types), sausage and other pork, lamb and seafood. Same rules apply here...turn the green coaster to that side if you're ready to be served and to the red side, if you're done ...or just want to take a break until your tummy settles...then back to green if you want more from the servers with the giant skewers!! I recently anticipated celebrating my birthday at Rodizio, a Brazilian steakhouse I had been eager to try. My boyfriend made reservations, and I was really looking forward to the experience. However, when we arrived, the restaurant was extremely busy, and it turned out that my boyfriend accidentally reserved for the wrong night. He left his phone number for them to call us after a 45-minute wait, but unfortunately, we never received that call. When he returned to check in, the hostess seemed surprised and informed him that there were still reservations in front of us, and with the restaurant closing in less than an hour, we were left disappointed. While I can't speak to the food or service (aside from the poor customer service) since we didn't get to dine, the lack of communication and organization was VERY frustrating. We instead had to drive 45 minutes to Gaucho's Prime and they were absolutely outstanding, from the food to the service and the ambiance. I left with a hefty slice of cheesecake, too. I don't know if it's just me, but I am not a huge fan of the flavoring of the meats at these Brazilian places. I have been to a few of these now (and with the caveat that I have also been to Brazil and ate enough there to know for sure), so I am probably in the minority. Still, for a special occasion, while it's not my first choice, it's a good choice. Recently we had family from out of the country visit and they chose this place, so we had no choice but to unbuckle our pants and budget about $70 per person for a meal here. Pace yourself well and when you hit the "salad" bar (which is not just salad, by the way) to try a little bit of the dishes you are interested in. There are probably about 6-8 hot dishes to try on top of your typical salad. Once you're done with that, the meat fest begins. I skipped any chicken options and just went for the best cuts of beef like the sirloin. If the servers are any good, they will ask you in advance the temperature of the meats you prefer (i.e. well done, medium, rare). Staff was very nice and attentive. Food was great, definitely a good price for all of the choices available. The restaurant itself was very nice. Service was the only unpleasant experience throughout the night. Our server did not seem like she wanted to be there, and especially did not seem like she wanted to be serving us. I always tip 20%, and usually a good amount over. If I didn't, I would've given MAYBE a 10% tip. Even as we were choosing dessert our server had an attitude... which is shocking because that brings the bill higher meaning a higher tip but this girl did not seem to care. None of the meats had seasoning. Not even salt. Same with the hot food on the buffet and sides that come to your table. There were only 2 Gauchos on so the meats where slow to come around. We came here for my a family dinner to celebrate my daughters and my birthdays. We were very pleased with everything here. Service was excellent. I believe Caesar was host or served but sure what the position is called. All of the the stuff at the salad bar was fresh and delicious. Everything that came around was amazing. They actually had rare cooked items which I prefer and medium items of the same stuff on the same sticks which my wife prefers. The place was spotless clean and the decor was pretty cool. I would like to see more fish or seafood items not from the salad bar and was a little disappointed there were no chicken hearts either. Absolutely got meat sweats from this place--hence, it was a successful trip. Located in Voorhees, you can't compare it to Fogo or Chima because it's on a different level; I would consider this Fogo-lite. For what it's worth, I thought the quality and service were exceptional for the price. The salad bar, with salads and some hot foods, was decent--I really enjoyed the assortment. They had all the different meats you would expect, including sirloin, bacon-wrapped pork, grilled pineapple, etc. At one point, my son said, "Dad, you're eating way too much." Mission accomplished. One thing is that it doesn't have a very kid-friendly salad bar, but that's a small gripe. Everything you would expect from a Brazillian steakhouse is here without the hassle of driving into the city to find parking, waiting for a table, and all those shenanigans that come from a night out in Philly. Yes, it's true, Voorhees has its version of Fogo de Chao, and it's called Rodizio Grill. Although it doesn't have the flair of "Order!" shouted by the waitstaff every couple of minutes, it is a much more relaxed and enjoyable place to get your meat sweats on. The price is on par with what you would pay at the other Brazillian steakhouse, but we had a buy one get one half-off coupon, which made it much more affordable to a wallet with an appetite to spend. I doubt I would pay the regular price here since I'm not really a meatman connoisseur, but if you are, you will surely love eating here regardless. **TIP: Add some veggies from the salad bar to help your digestion because you will get a TON of protein. And if you're looking for something else to offset stuffing your face with endless cuts of meat, go around to the back of the salad bar section, and you'll find an array of various other dishes to balance your plate, like collard greens, mashed potatoes, soups, beans, etc. That way, you don't have to disappoint mom when she tells you to eat your veggies. **TIP: And they even gave me a complimentary slice of chocolate cake since I came here on my birthday :) read more

First and foremost we came in as a party of 18 last minute, but they actually accommodated us! I feel as though doing the buffet of meats isn't the worst case for the servers versus doing plated dinners. Our server kept the drinks flowing with other busy tables. However, the food, the sides weren't good, it was very odd having a seafood pasta salad, rice or salad as sides. I wasn't impressed with the sides or the meats. If they cut a piece it was a sliver of meat and you had to ask for another cut. This is probably instructed by management to ensure there's no food wasted. Fantastic place although a tad overpriced. As far as these staff restaurant and food all-top notch. They used to offer a Groupon I'm back in the place is always extremely crowded. We've been there twice since they've stopped offering A Groupon and both times the restaurant was empty. About a year ago we went for dinner and there was only one other table of guests. Last week my wife and I went when they opened at 4 and we were the only two customers in the place for the full 2 hours that we were there. Don't get me wrong it is unbelievable to go to a Brazilian steakhouse in the have the entire staff waiting on you. The food itself is unbelievable everything is absolutely delicious. The beer selection is a little bit Limited. Overall besides the extremely high price this is one of our favorite restaurants. Tip - sign up for their VIP Club on their website at least 3 days before you go. My wife received a buy one get one voucher for her birthday. I was shocked that there was a Brazilian steak house so close to me and I'm glad I found it!! The servers were so nice and the people with the meat came around very often. The meat was DELICIOUS and was all cooked to perfection! The salad bar was nice and the hot sides were great as well. Loved the whipped potatoes! The little breads and banana starters they bring you were delicious as well. Also the polenta!!!! When you get your salads and sides, they definitely pile it very high. Although they do this in hopes you fill up and eat less meat, it was nice to get a larger portion. My only complaint is that we did not get all 13 meats they advertise. We got about 8 I believe. We did pass up on two of them but a few we missed. Also, when half of our table got up to get sides, the meat guys came around and we missed like 2-3 of the meats. The flourless chocolate cake was probably my favorite part of the dinner! A beautiful cake with some ice cream on the side. DELICIOUS!! Overall I will be returning to this place! Rodizio was the 4th Brazilian steakhouse I have been to, and it was by far my favorite! I'm trying to understand why it only has a 3 star rating, and people complaining about too much meat being brought to their tables. Isn't that the point?! You can always flip over your wooden doddle to red if you need a break! The meats were almost all delicious, especially the bacon wrapped chicken. The only one I wouldn't recommend was the brisket - it was fatty and chewy. Everything else was really excellent. The salad bar and hot bar were also top notch. The chimichurri was fresh and delicious and the salad was crisp. I also enjoyed the ceviche. The bread plate brought to the table had fresh made sides to go along with the meat, and the little Brazilian cheesy rolls (which are gluten free btw) were SO GOOD. As for the price, we went in with a groupon, so it really wasn't much more than a good steak would be somewhere else, and we had so much more than JUST a good steak. It was okay, I like that they have a hot foods bar as opposed to Foga De Chao; however, I prefer Foga De Chao in KOP and Philly. I'm not a big meat eater so I asked my husband and other members of my group who are and we all agreed it was okay. Their grilled pineapple was delicious. All these reviews are given from the writers perspective and expectations so I always if reading a spectrum of different reviews try it for myself. My suggestion is to try it for yourselves. As for the service provided by the servers that was on point. I saw some things hygiene wise that I didn't care to have witnessed, such as other patrons using their hands picking up food and we were seated across from the grill and one of the cooks grilling the meats wiped sweat from his forehead with his hands wearing no gloves.
