So it wasn't staff they are accommodating and check-in was easy but that's all that is good about this place. We opened door to room and was hit with the most noxious fumes from what I guess is industrial cleaner it was so bad it made my wife and I nauseous eyes burning even my dogs were trying to get out. The room itself was dirty beds were suspect carpets extremely worn and dirty just a nightmare. We had to leave. Worst motel I been in cleanliness specifically as an issue in many years. Also as a footnote if you use a booking service please don't just take the reviews do some extra checking only takes a short time and also make sure you spend a little extra for trip protection, I usually don't because I'm familiar with most places I stay when traveling but regret not doing it for this trip. read more

This was the last room for 50 miles of the Pendelton Round-Up, and the price was jacked! This place is disgusting - trash everywhere, room was filthy and smelled like a wet dog, water comes out of the tap with sediment in it, room service hadn't cleaned or vaccumed before we checked-in (potato chip crumbs and dirty tissues around the bed), sheets were threadbare and felt like 50 grit sandpaper, windows did not open and no fan in the bathroom, A/C did not work, and despite the big message board on the sign at the road ("FREE WI-FI and NEW HD TV's) there was no remote for the TV so we could not even turn it on. When we asked the staff to help us make the TV work, 3 times in 2 nights, they were rude and did not care one bit (too concerned about chatting with their friends in the lobby and whatever they were all doing on their phones). Don't stay here, you've been warned. Keep on driving or sleep in your car - you'll be better off! read more

It is a budget motel that is close to the interstate, ya get what ya pay for. It is outdated, it is bland, and the walls are thin, our flat screen TV was very small, but it wasn't filthy and I didn't see any bugs. While I did not have a pet with me this time, I think it is cool that they are super pet friendly. The gals that I dealt with at the front desk were Great. read more

This place is garbage from the rooms, the staff and the quality of the rooms. I began staying here since May of 2022 due to work related reasons and during my stay it's been nothing but hell from staff making up their own weekly rates, making charges to my credit card, given issues when ask for a receipts, rooms are outdated. New owners are a joke and if you do decide to stay here I wish you the best of luck and pay in cash or use a 3rd party app to book never use your debit or CC to pay here. Look, the reality is this - at some point we've all got to stay in the small motel on the side of the busy highway. It's inevitable. And, the Rodeway Inn in Boardman, Oregon is not a bad place to cut your teeth on such an experience. In fact, the motel (yep - that's an "m") door opens directly to the parking lot and all, is really nice. It's clean, well cared after and staffed by an exceptionally nice group of attentive people. We were in town chasing the eclipse and they had rooms at a great price. I made a reservation online for the last room in the place and it was a smoking room. I cringed at the thought, but knew not much else was available so hoped for a last minute cancellation. I even called and asked the staff if there was anything I could do. They were super kind and said they'd do everything they could to move our room; and, if a move wasn't possible, they would use an air purifier to reduce the odor before our arrival. As luck would have it we got a smoke-free room and a great nights sleep. Thanks to the awesome staff! read more

If I could give negative I would. We found bed bugs and many more major issues. A very uncomfortable stay. No apology, and we were treated like we were stupid by management. I called corporate and hopefully we will get this hotel shut down till problems are corrected. read more

My husband and I stayed in this budget motel in Boardan on the night of 11/19/2022. Unfortunately, the next day we discovered that our room was invested with bedbugs. If you plan to stay here check thoroughly for pests. We stayed in this motel 3 or 4 times in the past and had no complaints. read more

OK, this isn't a "nice" hotel - not a 5-star stay by any means, but when you're stopping on the side of the road in the middle of the night on a long road trip, this is EXACTLY what you're looking for (at least if you road trip on a shoestring budget like me). Old-ish (but clean) carpet, wood panel walls... the kind of place only a velvet Elvis on the wall would complete. There aren't enough of these places anymore. It's really hard to find a roof over your head for under $100 these days, so the $50ish I paid here made this a happy find, hence the 5 stars. read more

My husband and I stayed here after his truck had broken down on the side of the 84. We stayed here because it was the closest place we could find for the night, while we had his truck towed, etc. I would not recommend this place to anyone! We paid almost $100 for the night, which I thought was high considering the quality of the place. I've had better quality at some Motel 6's. Yes, the Wifi is free if, you can get a signal. I could not get even a decent WIFI connection in my room (next to the pool) and was disconnected several times while trying to do my work. Additionally, when I got into the room I discovered several bugs in our room. My experience with the ladies at the front desk was not good at all. They refused to give me my AAA discount when we checked in because I did not have my card on me, although I presented her with my membership # and an ID (I did not encounter this problem at any other hotel/motel we stayed at on our trip). The next day, when I asked to use the restroom in the "hotel" lobby (while waiting for my husband's truck to get fixed) I was told to use the gas station next door! So I paid close to $100 for the night and I was not even allowed to use the bathroom, which was located behind the front desk. Finally, to top it all off my husband and I realized that we had left our phone chargers in our hotel room (as we had rushed out to deal with his car situation). When I called and spoke to a woman at the front desk about it, she informed me that she hadn't worked there in a while so she did not know anything about it. When I asked her if she could look in the room for our chargers she said she could not, but that she would ask her supervisor about it tomorrow and have someone get back to us! So, I left her with my name and number. It's been over a week later and we still haven't heard from them. I would be shocked if they actually did call me. I wouldn't stay at the RodeKill Inn again if it was the last hotel on earth. read more

My visit on 6/28/09 shows the name Rodeway Inn. I already sent yelp a message to update their info. Anyways, this place is pretty much a motel. The rooms are clean but outdated. The service is pretty much all that this place has going. Their is free Wi-Fi and complementary breakfast (bagel and OJ). Don't expect much if you plan on staying here. Oh, they charge a hefty price for such a low quality room. We had to stay there because it was just off the highway. I would not recommend this place. read more

Yes it is one step above a Motel 6, in fact they are owned by Accor Hotels. Beside the free internet and a mini fridge, the beds, linens and towels are way better than Motel 6. The complimentary breakfast is your basic coffee, bagels, poptarts and OJ. The reason I love this place is that they have rooms when you are traveling with your dog. No weight restrictions and no additional charge. For me this makes this motel fantastic! read more

I stay here every time I pass through this part of Oregon. The staff here is always friendly and nice. I had an issue this time with my room choice. I ended up with a smoking room when I signed up with my iphone. The front desk person took care of it and even though they were out of rooms of the same category that I had chosen ( verified online by myself before I called) the clerk honored my reservation and gave me the upgraded room. I would not have been able to sleep in a smoking room but I did not want to pay the extra 20 dollars. Not sure why it is coming up as 3$ signs, it is half the price of other hotels in the area. Nice and clean, even if it is a bit older. Need all the latest, look elsewhere. Need a nice, clean hotel, this is it. read more

Best under 70.00 a night hotel I've ever stayed in! The facility is dated, however the service and condition make up for it. My room was clean, cozy, and quite. I wish they had irons in the room but the price makes up for it. Love this place. Elizabeth at the front desk was wonderful. I recommend this place! read more

We booked rooms a week ago for our company and find out today that instead of them booking 1 single and 5 doubles like we asked, they booked 1 double and 5 singles. So we had nowhere to stay in that town and we had to go about 45 min from the job site!! Extremely frustrating. read more
