    Fishing on the Columbia River

We spend 3 nights at Boardman RV Park. It was clean and the staff was very nice. The fishing in the Columbia River sucked but we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again. The WIFI at the time of our stay was bad. They said they were hoping to get it fixed.

Board man park is the perfect stopping point from Boise Idaho to Seattle. Each campsite is roomy and clean. Restroom/Showers are clean also. They have a laundry facility to complete your stay. The only little hiccup is making reservations, the website a little hard to maneuver through. But overall it's a perfect place to go. Next time through will need to stay a few days longer. Stop at C&D's for your morning Donut fix..

As good as it gets! Pulled in after check-in hours and the camp host was friendly, accommodating and even guided us to the only spot left on the water. He even helped us back in! Park has tons of amenities. Lots of grass, real grass not astro turf. Spots have nice views if you're lucky enough to get one on the water. Full hook ups at every spot, Air Digital TV Stations, and a picnic table. The rules were not too strict, but common for most parks. Loved our stay and will be back again!

I didn't pick my spot as I had made a reservation over the phone, but was surprised to get one right on the river.

This park is totally awesome! It's HUGE and right now with COVID19 going on there is plenty of…read morespace to social distance from others! There are several play areas, a splash pad, areas for walking, biking, skating, disk golf, regular golf, swimming and other activities that you can think of to do outdoors. There are restrooms throughout the park and some picnic tables to have a picnic at or you can bring your own. Lots of parking throughout the park. It was clean and had a well maintained grass area.

Yay! I got to get my kayak on for the second time this summer (thanks to my…read moreexpert-kayaking-friend). This time we pushed off from this marina....well, we didn't really use the dock of the marina, we just threw our kayaks in the agua and hopped in our hoopties. The parking is adequate and the facilities are pretty nice. The water here is fairly protected and away from the main flow of the Columbia; although it is a little slimy and gooey in spots. If you go to the "lagoon to the left, you have some nice still water options. It was interesting to paddle around this patch because every few seconds huge cuts and spashes would happen around you (I assume these must have been bass trying to have me lunch). We wanted to practice flipping ourselves in our crafts and getting back on our rides, so we headed out for the open water of the Columbia. Man, there were plenty of people on the water this day, but we managed to find a good place to dunk ourselves---I didn't really mind since it was hella hot out. There are plenty of put-in options in the Tri-Cities and this is but one, but it was certainly adequate, free, and provided an afternoon of fun.
