This is a fantastic RV Park, not "RESORT" but a wonderful place to unwind from the world and JUST RELAX. Listen to the wind, trains, boats, the birds and grab your fishing pole! We brought along our Starlink to keep up with the world but it was very nice to sit outside and just listen. Roomiest RV SITES ANYWHERE. BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF THE RIVER/LAKE. Not much to do here, not many restaurants or stores but again it is the unplugging from the noise. They hand out a day coupon to the rec center which we did not use. This park has nice clean restrooms, the grounds are well groomed and staff is always keeping up with cleanup. Hard working staff. Clean, very spacious, beautiful green grass, paved trails for riding bikes or dogs. Excellent views of river. Great for kids, lots of Pokémon stations at each workout station. So if you want your kids to walk around, this is the place. Can't say the walking trail is smooth for a wheelchair, might be a challenge in some locations due to buckling. Train rumble is pretty much nonstop so bring earplugs if needed. No train horn. I found the rumble relaxing & comforting. Rocked me to sleep. Huge camping areas, so with that said, bring Elon or your internet provider of choice, breathtaking views of river. Keep tabs on your husband fishing! Fish jumping at dusk is pretty awesome to watch. read more

This is truly a great spot! Wide open spaces right on the river. Watch out for Wasps! We did have to change sites but well worth it. You can get great views of the river even from the sights in the back. Noting to really do in the immediate vicinity but a great campground and friendly staff! Stayed 2 nites in June. Site 4 on the river. About 4pm the sewer started to back up from the ground. My tank valve wasn't even opened. Raw sewage allover my water hose, elec cord, sewer hose and no my shoes when I tried to put cap on to stop it. Went to office & she moved us to another site. Advised I would have to talk to Mgr for refund. Next day I was told they knew there was a sewer issue but since other campers didn't experience the backup they would only refund 10% (14.98). My contaminated shoes cost 5x that amount. They should have told me this at check-in. Mgr Ricci was pretty much a waste of time. Nicely manicured and spaced out park. Hidden gem tucked away in a little town along a river. Stayed in passing but wouldn't mind staying a few extra days next time enroute to our destination with all the amenities and beauty of the area. This campground would be fun for a group of camper folks to reserve an entire cul de sac style area. Good for pets, kids, relaxing or partying at it just offers quite a bit of space for all. The RV Park is very nice however, the management turns over, it seems yearly. This past June I stopped on way back from LaGrande and found the Manangement not so good. They evern had a CEO believe it or not! A CEO of a campground! Weird! As it currently is I would not recommend the Campground, but it will change as current 2024 employees will turn over I expect. Totally clewless people! Sad to have to say that. It has some really nice spaces near the river. read more

Board man park is the perfect stopping point from Boise Idaho to Seattle. Each campsite is roomy and clean. Restroom/Showers are clean also. They have a laundry facility to complete your stay. The only little hiccup is making reservations, the website a little hard to maneuver through. But overall it's a perfect place to go. Next time through will need to stay a few days longer. Stayed for one night enroute across Oregon to Boise. Always wanted to travel along the Columbia River through Oregon and this place was along the route. We were there in the spring and it was still pretty cold and windy. And because the place is sort of in the middle of nowhere, there's not a whole lot to do unless the weather is good. So we simply bundled up and took the dogs for long walks along the water front. However you can tell this place is hopping in the summer time - and that they are certainly set up and prepared for the larger summer crowds. It's right on the water, so I'm sure the boating and fishing there is pretty robust. The sites are all clean, well maintained and surrounded by some grass. The hookups are good and a picnic table is provided. There are shower and laundry facilities on site, and both were clean and in food repair. read more

As good as it gets! Pulled in after check-in hours and the camp host was friendly, accommodating and even guided us to the only spot left on the water. He even helped us back in! Park has tons of amenities. Lots of grass, real grass not astro turf. Spots have nice views if you're lucky enough to get one on the water. Full hook ups at every spot, Air Digital TV Stations, and a picnic table. The rules were not too strict, but common for most parks. Loved our stay and will be back again! read more

We stayed here 1 night and it was just okay. If I had to give this place a headliner it would be "Slimey algae infested waters and mosquito covered grass that you can't even sit in". I saw lots grass in the pictures and thought it would be perfect for my kids but we couldn't sit in it or play in it without being eaten alive. Just the walk to the water my legs were covered in bites. The "swimming area" was dead empty on a 90 degree day...why? Because the water is so gross! I live in Vancouver and our part of the Columbia River is actually a River and very clean. This part of the river is basically a lake thanks to the damn and the algae is just we didn't even swim it was so uninviting looking. Park itself is clean and well kept, bathrooms ok for campground showers. But yeah the big draw to this place was playing in the river and grass...which you don't even want to be anywhere near read more

This review is specifically for the RV park. The main reason for the low rating is the fact that I was not able to sleep for two straight nights here due to LOUD trains running all night long. One train after another blows their horn and rumbles past the park 24/7. The trains are so loud and close they actually made our trailer vibrate. If the trains don't get to you the extremely LOUD traffic will. Truckers laying on their jake breaks made it impossible to enjoy nature and the river outside. It was so unfortunate. I would also avoid staying here in the winter months as the rv pads are so small you'll be stepping out into mud. The mud was unavoidable here and we trekked it through our trailer and truck. Also be aware that this RV park is directly off a community walking path. I would normally be thrilled about this as we love family walks, but the individuals walking this path were less than the trustworthy type. We didn't leave our site in fear we would be victims of theft. Also, the community pool nearby was only partially open. The slide and therapy pool was closed, with no fish running and heavy rain this left us with nothing to do. I would avoid camping here unless you're camping here to utilize the Marina and able to wear earplugs. read more

On our annual trip through I84 we always stop in Boardman and stay at this park. It is simply the best RV park for hundreds of miles. The sites are very big, they each have their own backyard almost. It's a busy park with boaters so you may need an advanced reservation during the summer or holidays. The beach nearby isn't good but as an RV park it's full of grass and the spots are quite wide, unlike many RV "parking lots" that exist today read more

We stayed in the park years ago and decided to go back. The site was picked by the office staff, site 44. It was a nice private site, we stayed 3 nights. Preparing to leave we dumped our black water tank first, to our horror it started spraying all over the place, the tank had a clog in it and no one said a word when we checked in. We are on a road trip with our pup, and this was the perfect stop on a hot day! We loved the beautiful grassy areas, and pup had fun wading into the swimming inlet! We went on the swings, and lounged under the apple trees. There were nice bathrooms and water fountains as well. The only drawback was there were some gross dead fish around the swimming area. read more

Just stayed here a couple of weeks ago for one night on my way to Washington. What a surprise! I had visited the park in February in the middle of winter, now the trees are all leafed out giving great shade to the campsites, and the lawns are maintained and lush green. I didn't pick my spot as I had made a reservation over the phone, but was surprised to get one right on the river. Awesome view. To those other reviewers who say $35 is pricey, this is a very good deal, most private campgrounds are $40 to $55 during the summer. I had camped in a Washington State park last year and with the out of state charges, was $50, and not nearly as nice as here. All of the employees were courteous and the place is spotless clean. Great park, beautiful location, customer service sucks! We pulled into this park early on a Sunday afternoon at the beginning of a two week trip. Before even getting to the check in kiosk, we passed a sign that said "reservations only" however we decided to ask anyway. The kiosk turned out to be empty with another customer ahead of us. He said he was a frequent visitor to the park and showed us which spots were open from an information board. Using this information, we drove on in and selected a spot. When we walked back to the kiosk to pay, there were now two young female attendants. They were there all along and had just chosen to take their break at the same time and not come to the window. They seemed irritated that we didn't pay before selecting a site, but did acknowledge that the site we chose was open. Our friends were a few minutes behind us and the girls were rude to them also. All in all, the two high school age girls appeared to have no customer service training. I later asked to use a phone book, and even though they had one, my request was refused. Another customer checking in was equally disgusted. The park itself was nice, too bad these brats ruined it for us and our friends. read more

The check in was interesting. Two people in the office were sitting at a desk that wasn't facing customers. After answering the questions and paying, the transaction was over and we were on our way to our site. It was beautifully situated close to the Columbia River. During set up I discovered the site didn't have water. A neighbor said they had shut it off because it may freeze that night. No one said anything about no water at check in. Thankfully we had water in our tank and the pump works. Wifi was pretty good and the location is great but customer service for us was lacking. read more

Very nice park for an overnight stay. Comfortable, beautiful views of the river, barges floating by and hills. Very clean, well-kept Park. Dog-friendly. Restroom was clean, shower was hot with private stalls. Nice walking trails and exercise equipment is scattered along the trail in case you are tempted to get even more exercise. Reasonable price. Hang onto your hat, it was a bit windy, but spaces have wind-breaks to help out. Highly recommended. read more

BEAUTIFUL park. Lots of grass space between rv sites. Picnic bench, fire pit/grill at each site & right on the water. Very friendly staff. Walking trail all the way around. The only problem I had was the showers and laundry room were not what they should have been. Cob webs, damaged doors. Looked run down. Kind of a bummer considering how beautiful every thing else was. But we'd stay there again. Just have to shower in the RV. read more

We stayed here for about 2 weeks and LOVED it! A little pricey for the summer months ($35/night) and they don't have monthly or weekly deals. They are dog friendly, which is great! Just use common sense and keep your dogs on leashes. We have a large dog and were able to walk him around without contact with other dogs. If you're on the far side of the park (example, space 41) you're right in the middle of both "beaches" and less than a 10 minute walk to both. The marina is beautiful and COVERED in geese! I was in gosling heaven! All around a beautiful place. The rv park itself is extremely clean and green. Most, if not all of the spaces, have their own little fence separating from your neighbor giving you a splash of privacy. Yes, depending on where you're parked, it's a walk to take your trash to the dumpster, but they do have a few. The laundry facility is small (2 washers & 2 dryers), but the machines are fairly new and clean. I didn't check out the showers, so you're on your own there. Yes, there is a train that goes by pretty frequently, but it doesn't go over any roads so it doesn't have to blare its horn. But you can feel it going by...So depending on where you have your RV parked, chances are you won't even hear it or feel it. We will definitely be back! We had reservations made and was looking forward to the visit but mechanical issue with our RV changed our plans. I called a week in advance to let them know the deal and all I got for two days were voice messaging services. They charged me a $5.00 reservation fee and a $5.00 cancellation fee. The all the other parks I've stayed at or had to cancel never charged me these fees. I think they're just grubbing for every penny they can get and I won't be doing business with them ever. read more

We just completed a two-week trip to see the National Parks in Utah and were headed home to Oregon with our friends who went on the camping road trip with us. We managed to reserve RV spots ahead of time at places with pull-through sites for easy in/out access. Every place we stayed during our trip was beautiful and quiet. Boardman RV Park and Marina is also a beautiful park with lots of grassy areas and beautiful views of the Columbia River. Is it quiet you ask? We have never been to a more noisy park filled with campers and their barking dogs in the past two years we have owned our RV. Our friends said they weren't sure if they could stand the sound of continuous barking. Not only have the countless dogs barked non-stop since our arrival, the owners of the dogs just yelled at them, but didn't take them inside or actually quiet them down. There were three young ladies who were working in the office and we saw them drive around the park in a cart, but apparently they didn't want to tell people to quiet their dogs down. I may sound like a curmudgeon, but the barking was so bad we moved from sitting outside in our chairs to the inside of our trailer to escape the barking. Like I said, the park is beautiful, but the office staff needs to do a better job enforcing their own rules about quiet pets. If they did that, I'd give them a higher rating. read more
