Just a heads-up, you'll need…read moreto book a reservation because the groups tend to fill up quickly--we had 17 people in our group! This was definitely more than we were expecting! The tour was about 1.3 hours long, and you'll need to climb and descend stairs and squeeze into small spaces. If any of that sounds like a challenge, it might not be the right fit for you. Our tour guide was "BRAD," and he was amazing! He's practically "been there, done that." He grew up exploring these tunnels with his friends and has all sorts of stories to share. You'll learn a lot about the history and some simple sayings that will make you laugh and give you a deeper understanding. For example, there's a "Shoot" of whiskey! From the outside, you have no idea how huge this place is, and we only get to see a small part. Don't miss out if you get the chance. We'd definitely go back and bring a friend who hasn't seen it before.

The price of the ticket included a free drink token, 3 shots during the tour, and a sample of a local meat company. The tour was led by Matt and is meant for mature adults who don't get upset or offended by certain language. It was such a fun tour. Matt told us the history while making it fun throughout the whole 2 hour tour. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to add a little bit more fun to the tour.

I have a 4 & 6 year old and they were entertained the whole time! It was a breath of fresh air for all of us. Our adventure started with eye smiles being greeted by the friendliest staff! They had customized sign for myself and the family. our fire pit and carriage ride were ready! We were able to leave our s'more fixings and hot cocoa at our reserved fire pit. They provided complimentary hot cocoa. There was wine, organic soaps, Christmas wreaths and Christmas trees all available at a very low cost. The carriage ride was spectacular! We brought a blanket along because it can get very cold, but nothing unbearable. We were able to see the wide open views. We could see Miles and miles of vineyards and wildlife. Our tour guide Suzy had so much knowledge and she was just so friendly. She gave stories about the surrounding lands and knowledge on winemaking. What a gem she is to the whole operation! Our carriage ride lasted about 25min and it was worth the $40 for the four of us. After our carriage ride we were able to settle down right next to the coziest fire pit. We had chairs and tables provided for our belongs. Wood would brought to us constantly and we were checked on frequently. Bathrooms were available and were able to sit there over an hour. I would Definitely recommend this one of a kind experience! We will be back and I look forward to supporting this small business! Tips: bring s'more fixings, sticks to toast marshmallows water, hot coco hot dogs/snacks! Parking is very convenient! We were able to get whatever we needed from the suv for snacks, blankets, hand sanitizer, baby wipes! Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy! Merry Christmas!

Teresa and Emily were considerate, personable, and confident guides. They readily answered our many questions about the vineyards, the wineries, and the region. We visited four wineries, and at each stop we were escorted into a tasting room. Our guides and the horses waited patiently outside at each stop, and there was room on the wagon for our purchases. Midway through the afternoon, we enjoyed a delicious luncheon they had prepared, in one of the tasting rooms. We're excited to bring friends and family next summer!

If you're looking for a personalized, stress-free wine touring experience in the Red Mountain AVA,…read moreI can't recommend TC Black enough--especially David as your driver. This was our first visit to the Red Mountain AVA, and our goal was to safely explore some of the smaller wineries to get a true sense of what the region has to offer. From the very beginning, David exceeded our expectations. He responded quickly to texts and had us complete a thoughtful questionnaire about our wine preferences and even our music tastes so he could tailor the experience to us. Communication was outstanding. He called the day before to confirm everything and even offered to contact a winery we wanted to visit when he couldn't personally take us there, just to let them know we were coming. That level of service really stood out. On the day of our tour, David arrived right on time. His vehicle was immaculate, with cold water waiting for us, and he was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. Every winery he selected was exactly the type we were hoping to discover. Each stop was expecting us, and thanks to David's relationships, we received VIP treatment everywhere we went, with tastings customized to our palate. The highlight of the day was when David arranged for us to sit down with the owner and assistant winemaker of a local winery--even though they were closed. That experience alone speaks volumes about the relationships he has built and the exceptional level of service he provides. If you want a safe, comfortable, and truly personalized wine tour with someone who knows the region inside and out, ask for David at TC Black. He made our first visit to Red Mountain unforgettable, and we'll absolutely book with him again.
