It was super windy that day but we managed. The Sage Center at the time we came had construction going on for an expansion. The construction only affected one exhibit. It was a Ballon ride experience I think. It was super cool being up close to an industrial sprinkler system. They are massive. You really don't get a feel for how big this simple water sprinkler is from the highway as you drive by. There is a moving display of how how potatoes go from the field through a system of machinery that turns potatoes into fries and packages them at the end. I know I'm not doing it justice but you'll have to check it out for yourself. It's a self guided tour so you can take your time. Worth the price of admission. I'd go again.

The exterior here really looks like it's dating back a few decades and can appear a little off putting at first glance. The interiors are a whole different thing, updated and nicely furnished, you will not be disappointed at all. Walkable to most of the eating spots in Prosser, quiet in the evenings. I'm not sure if all the rooms have been renovated, there is a section that doesn't appear to be refurbished as of our visit, but there should be 8-10 rooms that we would highly recommend. Scott was readily available via phone contact to confirm reservations and meet us on arrival, though he is not in the office.

The room was a pleasant surprise: clean, quiet, updated and fairly large with 2 queen beds and a desk. This is not a fancy place with lots of amenities by any standards but a pleasant retreat and a change from the mainstream. It has a fridge, flat screen TV, A/C, ironing board w/ iron, hair dryer and friendly management to boot. Simple but pleasant and close to good food. Don't let your first impression scare you from a nice experience. I give it 5 stars because the room and the location were such a nice change to our trip not just the ordinary.

They have video surveillance of the area and also civilian patrol so you shouldn't have to worry about getting mugged or anything. But of course, use common sense. And I didn't forget the truckers.
