I had a really wonderful experience here today! I was a walk in at 9:45 in the morning, and asked for a pedicure and gel manicure. I did not have to wait at all. Yami was my tech and she was very nice (she was also training another tech who was observing while she did my mani and pedi.) I really liked how the files, and pumice stone were all one per customer and then disposed. They also used liners for the pedicure tubs which is nice. I really appreciated how sanitary they were. Yami helped me pick a color, when I told her what I was looking for , and she was able to match the regular polish to gel without any trouble. She also tried four different types of gold glitter for me so that I would be 100% happy. I really appreciated not feeling rushed and her taking the time to "experiment" with the options. Rodeo is a good option depending on what you're getting and who you get. They will rush on your nails if it is busy and definitely don't ask for anything other than a solid polish. The staff is really pleasant and their pedicures are always five stars. Overall, there is too much inconsistency in staff's quality. read more

They've been open a few years now and when they first opened they were great. Something has happened within the past two years where the service has gone downhill as well of the quality of nail polish/ manicures. They are a very popular place but they are often very crowded and dont want customers to leave so they lie about how long a manicure or pedicure will take and try and make everyone wait and have rushed jobs to move things along. Not ok! Another thing- the reason I stopped going- was I used to get my nails painted regularly and I'd be able to go a few weeks with little to no chipping. Then, without changing anything specific in my day to day life the quality of their nailpolish began to decrease. Ill get my nails done every once in awhile and the polish chips within the next few days. Occasionally while you are sitting waiting for your nails to dry the girls will give you a small back massage which is enjoyable. Staff is very friendly and the place is always clean. I moved to the area a while ago, I was looking for a nail salon . I went to this place like twice . The first time the woman did my nails horribly. They were boxy and chunky . I went back a second time , which I regret because I told them that I didn't want gel nails , I wanted acrylic. The lady gave me so much attitude. She yanked my hands and talked about me the whole time. Even a bystander was shaking her head. I final stood up for myself and said I have never been treated so badly! It was also my bday that weekend! So I got a pedicure and a fill. The woman who was originally supposed to do both my pedicure and fill said she didn't want to do my nails. All because I was getting g acrylic instead of gel. This group of staff was rude and not accommodating at all! They charge an arm and a leg and they didn't even discount me after I was almost in tears over all the events leading up to my nails! I will never ever go back to this place! Love this nail salon, the family that runs it + the team that works here. When I am in Pennington I go to their other salon, Dolce, which I also highly recommend. They have great hours so I DEFINITELY recommend making time to stop in during a quiet day (mid week) so that you dont need an appointment and you wont have to wait. The salon has no price list and offers no accurate information up front. I made an appointment for an acrylic set, went in and got seated. My nail tech asked me if I wanted gel, and I said yes because I had chosen a gel polish for my acrylic set. As she went on to do my nails she kept leaving the chair, didn't file evenly and forgot the base coat. She went on to look for the color I had chosen, and instead of telling me she couldn't find it she brought over another shade and began to paint. When I went up to pay at the end I was expecting to pay the usual $60, but I was charged $100. This salon is overpriced as is and then she had the audacity to tell me that she had chosen to give me a full gel set because it was better for my nails, but never informed me of the price difference. When I get a pedi it is like a mini vacation. I grab my magazines, close my eyes and after 40 minutes I have the most amazing feet ready to walk the world. This was not so much the case here. While the salon is very pleasant, right from the start I felt a battle brewing with the staff. No smiles and not caring left me feeling frustrated with my $25 pedi especially when I asked to test out two colors before she put the base coats on. What's with the attitudes ladies?! Her foot massage was light even after I told her to perhaps make it stronger. She completely ignored me and then tested the colors on her fingers not my feet. Then as you dry your nails they give you this lame roller ball massage that lasts two minutes. None of them wear name tags, but good news is that they clean the wash basins down after each pedi. read more

For what they charge, when you have a "scheduled" appointment one should not be kept waiting. I recently went here yesterday, made an appt by phone with Emma to have my lashes done. The place was very nice and clean but the communication on prices was very shady! The salon had no price list and a sign posted that said you get 20% off price for first time visit. I had to ask about the prices, the procedure and the type of lashes used. She did not offer this information upfront. The problem came with the pricing! She told me three prices and charged me 139 the higher price for her service. Fine I was trying to figure out her tip So I asked her was it 20% off that price? She replied that the 20% was already deducted and it came to 139. So I asked her what is the regular price and she just stood there looking thru an appt book like she had to look it up and never answered me!! Really!!! someone in a business who is the only one that does the lashes doesn't know how much the regular charge for the service is? She was not honest and I got taken advantage of just because I was new. She didn't have her shit together and needs to post a price list in that shop! I tipped her anyway! This type of customer service is not acceptable when I'm spending my money! I won't be going back..Btw the girl who told me bout her said she pays round 90 dollars!! I went here for the first time 2 days ago.. I have been thinking about what a wonderful job this nail salon did and I needed to create a yelp account just so I could comment. I am relatively new to the area, and have been searching for a good nail salon. I've tried a few in the area, but nothing compares to rodèo. I walked in and saw that there were about 8 women already getting services, and 3 waiting ..When I saw the high numbers I almost walked out; I was in no mood to wait. To my surprise my wait was less than 5 minutes. The 8 employees were all diligently working to service the 10-12 of us in there.. And what a great job they did! I got a gel manicure and the quality was superb. Like other users have stated, as your nails dry they give you a short neck massage... Its only a minute or so.. But a nice added touch. The price is decent; it's not cheap by any means ($35 for a gel manicure) .. But to be in the Princeton area they keep it competitive. The ambience was nice, great location and one of the cleanest places I've been to. If all my visits go as well as the first, I think I found my new salon!! read more

My experience was horrible, the owner did not listen to what I wanted at all, rather she just 'did her thing' while constantly talking to her associates. When I questioned what she was doing she was extremely rude. I have since been to another salon where I paid $60 for them to fix what this salon did. Do not go here! I have been going to Rodeo for about 5 years for gel manicures and pedicures. I like that they are very clean and my nails almost always look great. They are very accommodating to walk-ins. I would recommend Emma, although she is usually booked, since she is the only one who does eyelash extensions- which by the way look awesome and are very reasonably priced! It bothers me that there is no price list. I find that the price for a basic gel manicure varies by $5, even with no repairs. I always think that the price went up, only to be charged $5 less two weeks later. There are constantly new employees who are very slow at gel manicures, sometimes taking over 2 hours. The only person who is friendly is Emma; no one else will speak to you until you tip them and leave. I do recommend Rodeo, because they are convenient and you will leave with a great looking and long-lasting manicure and pedicure. read more

Rodeo Nails does an excellent job at a very fair price. The staff is friendly and the shop is kept very, very clean - which is so important. Even though I don't have to spend a lot of money here I always feel like I'm pampering myself when I stop in . I also appreciate that I CAN just stop in without an appointment sometimes ( though they do take appointments it seems). The friendly greetings as you arrive and leave are such a nice touch. They seem to use good products AND the salon doesn't have a strong smell of products so they must have a good ventilation system which I think is so important. I highly recommend Rodeo Nail. read more
