I came here on a Sunday to have my dip redone. It is not my usual spa but two of my nails were broken so I had little choices. I came here before and never had issues. The technician was in a hurry, it seemed. Overall she did a good job, but two days later my nails were chipping. I did not do anything to them other than occasionally washing dishes. Now it's Friday, and I noticed all of them have cracks throughout. sort of like they shattered. I will not be revisiting this salon again. such a bad experience, I went there and sat down in one of their massage chairs and since I'm a little shorter than instead of massaging my neck it kept hitting the back of my head hard, and hours later I still have a headache, I tried signaling and telling the tech but she didn't listen, and i was getting my toes done, I had a bruised part from badly cutting one myself, she dug her nail into that part and caused me so much pain, it still hurts a while afterwards, then after i was finished and the polish was drying, this nail tech gave me "back massage" but all she did was rub my back and I barely felt anything. lastly I tried to tip her ten dollars but when I walked up to her she gave me a weird look and backed away and I tried to give it to her but she just stared at me with a weird look. overall such a terrible place. read more

It's clean and nicely decorated and the prices are fair. However, I've never encountered such a rude tech as Scarlet. Unapologetically rude to the point of aggressive. Always sniping at the guy next to her who is probably her husband. I've been to so many nail salons all over the country and I kid you not I have never experienced the hostility. The work is efficient but they always burn me with the filing tool - without fail, every time, and they NEVER bat an eye or apologize. I gave them their last chance. I'd rather pay extra then deal with these people, especially when I spend my hard-earned money for some self-care. The single nice person here is Danny. I have been going here for years, although they still don't know who I am. They are nasty (the owner and one man), and they don't do a good job. When I asked to cover my whole nail in polish, they gave me a dirty look. They do it so quickly to get you out of there that they hurt me and don't apologize. If you go and get Danny then you will have a positive experience but all the other nail techs are rushed, rude, and don't follow instructions. Well, the service here is pathetic. Looks like they are in rash while providing their services. Not welcoming and making you uncomfortable. I reallly wanted to like this place because they do treat you like royalty. Unfortunately I have to give it three stars because after one week my gel dip manicure was cracking and coming off. Very curt service, pedicure guy rushed me through (completed in half of the time to someone who opted for the same pedicure), nail extensions were so thick, no leveling around edges, manicure guy looked like he was forced to do the job, was visibly upset when asked to reduce the length. In reply to ur comment it took an hour because it took half hour for the crew to figure out how the machine works and redo it multiple time to make it correct, after which the final output is 'okayish'. I have been going to Aloha nails for several months now. It is the best nail salon in the area. First, they are extremely accommodating about time. They do a great job with both manicures and pedicures. They have some extras that other salons do not have, like paraffin wax dip at no additional charge. I had one of the best pedicures in this area in a very long time. As the daughter of salon and spa owners, I am super picky. This salon is immaculate and my technician Cindy was very professional, and gave the best foot and back massage. And I only got the regular pedicure for $28! Everyone greeted me with a friendly hello, and they had HGTV playing on the TV which is always a good way to pass the time!! Best part, this salon does not smell like glue or chemicals one bit. Warning!!! First time here. Went in for a fill and halfway through my service the nail tech next to mine grabbed a "bit" that had been used on my nails to use on her client without cleaning it. I brought it to her attention that that had been used on me and she needed to clean it- maybe she didn't know... she told me they only clean instruments AT THE END OF THE DAY... I clarified and she was annoyed because "everyone knows to wash their hands before they come in". I didn't know this and was not instructed to when I came in, but even if I had washed my hands if I had some type of nail fungus it could have been spread to another customer. She was very annoyed and kept repeating that they clean at the end of the day every day. Clarified- no need to clean between each client only end of the day. Eek. I've gone to aloha a few times for gel and it was great. But DO NOT go for a dip manicure. I went and the lady had no idea what she was doing. She put on 7 layers of dip polish which left my nails sore after the appointment. They looked thick and uneven. I had to get them taken off and acetone wasn't strong enough. They had to be drilled off. Now my nails are thin and brittle. Save your money and your nails. read more

What a find! The location is convenient, seating and nail techs are plentiful. An interesting, easy to read menu for different pedicures. I received a wonderful steam and lavender scrub. I chose a callus remover treatment, which made my feet soft, but did not get rid of my tough dry spots. Perhaps more frequent pedicures would help. It was a wonderful pedicure choice which offered $5 off a gel polish. I had a different manicurist than the person who had done my toes. While the finished product was beautiful and flawless it did not even hold up 2 weeks. It lasted exactly 7 days before there was a chip in my pointer fingers. I did go swimming twice and was on vacation in the heat, however I thought one week was very poor for a gel manicure. I chalked it up to being in the water that week. On the car trip home my ring finger, which was silver glitter as opposed to the light blue on my other fingers, cracked along the edge and was left hanging there until I was able To clip it off. While this might be a deal breaker for some I will be back to try again as I was pleased with the location, the employees, the ease of availability as well as their interesting pedicure options. read more
