My gel pedicure chipped on the beach 2 days after I got it. How does gel chip? Also none of the employees were wearing masks. The child present wasn't wearing a mask (currently out of school for possible exposer to a child testing positive for covid) I would rather not have known this information when I asked if the 7 year old was vaccinated. No windows or door propped open for ventilation. The dividers between employee and customer very dirty. The man who was giving me a pedicure kept coughing and clearing his throat. He was the only one wearing a mask, below his nose. I had two masks on, and had not had a pedicure since June. I was very nervous and it was not relaxing. Never again. The woman who did my pedicure was so rough with my toenails and cut the side of my toenail where it shouldn't be cut. At the end of the short, rushed, and rough pedicure, she put the rubber around the top of the cuticle clippers and put them back into the bag and into the sanitizer machine which was off. Yuck!! This place was absolutely amazing. The staff was super friendly and the nail color selection was definitely up to par. I decided on getting a full set of acrylic nails. The service was quick, efficient, and quite relaxing. Everything and everyone one there was super nice. Would go again! I recommend for anyone who needs their nails done to go there. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!! My two friends and I had made an appointment to get 3 gel manicures. We showed up to our appointment, and was made to wait for over an hour. During that time, 2 walkins were sat ahead of us. We finally got sat across from the oldest man in the establishment. He started on nail prep and then began to paint my nails. He started with a blotchy swipe that covered more of my cuticles than my actual nails. After several passes at trying to fix it (about another 3 coats) he shrugged and seemed to give up. He left to go grab a towel. During this time, I showed my friend how awful my nails looked and they agreed that they were going to leave as soon as I was finished and we would go to another store. The man apologized for my manicure and insisted he would fix it. He began to then FILE my PAINTED AND CURED GEL NAILS. He sawed with the file into my skin to the point I began to bleed. Only after this did I finally let out a small yelp. He signaled to my friends that it was now their turn and they politely declined. A couple that was waiting for their own appointment noticed my botched nails and immediately left the establishment. The man, after realizing how much pain he had caused me and how he completely ruined on of my nails began to slowly apologize. he then charged me $25, which I paid through tears of embarrassment and pain. My friends rushed me to Urgent Care and now 3 of my nails are INFECTED. They are now swollen, hot to the touch, and EXTREMELY tender. I am so disgusted and disappointed. PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!!! read more

Awful. The place wasn't clean, the woman who did my pedicure rushed through, doing the whole thing in a very short time, left my legs greasy and got polish on my skin which she didn't clean off. The nails are uneven. Her manicure was not any better. The nails are uneven, they weren't smooth, and they snagged as soon as I got home. There was no massage or any of the things that make getting a manicure and pedicure nice. I won't be back. A shame. It's very close to home. read more

This is the best of all the local nail shops. Michael, Tiffany, and the whole crew do impeccable work and are as friendly as they are talented. Do not mistake the other nearby nail shops for this shop. This one is in the Pennington Market shopping center, and they are in the process of revamping their interior. The Nail Place is clean and lovely already, but I wish them luck and can't wait to see the re-do! My family members, friends, and I come here for manis, acrylics, powder dip, and pedis -- they do it all. read more

I was searching all over for a nail salon that was clean, the reviews were great, and the prices were affordable. I've had many experiences with salons that I've left unhappy; the nail place is not one of them. Michael, the owner and nail tech was extremely friendly, precise, and listened to the shape and length that I wanted. He also made sure before I dried my nails that I liked every French tip. I highly suggest going here, you will not be disappointed with the friendliness, cleanliness, and the price to get your nails done compared to other salons. Despite having an appointment, had to wait one hour; rude and very bad job for the manicure

Never have I ever written a review in my life but my experience was so poor I felt I needed to. First off, the place is so dirty. Had I not been in a rush, I would have turned around and I wish I did. Acrylic shavings on the floor, dust from filing all over the counters, and the towel under my hands was damp and filthy. I just needed one nail fixed - the man tried to take off all my polish and when I reminded him I was just getting the one fixed he said he knew. He was also extremely rough and pulled on me rather than letting me know where/when to move from the light. He used the electric file on my natural nail until I eventually had to pull away - if you've ever felt that you know that it burns! He was so rushed and did a bit of a messy job around the cuticle so I asked if he could clean up the polish a bit and he took out the electric tool again and used it on my skin which sliced my cuticle. After he did this, he tried to move onto the next finger until I told him no thank you as I was bleeding. No apologies or acknowledgment of anything. Have never had such a poor experience at a salon and have certainly never walked out bleeding. Again, I am not the type to write reviews but I wish I had read one about this place before going in.
