I literally created a Yelp account just to share my awful experience. I enjoyed the actual service that day, but the gel manicure did not last the weekend! 8/10 nails were peeling and lifting by Sunday! I called when they opened on Monday morning and the woman over the phone was kind and understanding. We talked it out, she sought guidance from a manager and I agreed to a soak off and just a regular manicure (no need to redo the whole service) ...I didn't want to damage my nails... I was happy, I tipped well again... and when I went to leave I was asked to pay full price, for the removal and for the manicure service. I shared my conversation tactfully (I didn't want to make others sitting there speculate that their nails wouldn't last either) and the owner/manager proceeded to YELL at me and said I changed my mind, and that's why I came in to soak them off... it was HUMILIATING. Her employees are clearly scared of her. They looked at me empathetically. Every customer that day was cringing. I wrote her an email when I got home in hopes she would reflect on the situation and make it right but, she never replied. So, I feel obligated to share this review. I will never ever give this woman my business again. And I will be sure share this horrible experience when friends ask for a nail salon recommendation. Just had the worst experience with the manager, screaming at me, yelling at the poor girl behind the counter. Every time I try to speak, she interrupted me, kept referring to me as she the young girl tried to explain to her what was going on then the manager proceeded to tell me You can leave and go somewhere else. It's a shame because I really enjoyed the young lady that I had the last time she did a great job I will never step foot into this place again that manager shouldn't be a manager. I had a very upsetting experience at this nail salon yesterday. I had an appointment scheduled for Saturday at 1:30 PM. I was running late, so I called ahead to inform them, and they told me it was fine and that I could still come in. Shortly after, the owner called to ask if I wanted designs on my nails. I said yes, and she told me she would call back to confirm if they had time. When I received a call back I'm assuming it was her daughter I was told that they did have time for the designs. Once I arrived, everything started off well. Evelyn, the nail tech, was doing a great job and had just started applying the base coat. Then, the owner came over and told Evelyn to stop and just paint my nails with no designs. I told her that wasn't what I requested, and I had confirmed multiple times over the phone that designs would be okay. When I reminded her of this, she dismissed me and said it didn't matter who called me. I found that incredibly unprofessional. Another client had just walked in, but as everyone knows, sometimes you have to wait at a nail salon--it's normal. Instead of handling it professionally, the owner began yelling at me, telling me to leave--even though my nails weren't dry or shaped yet . I told her I wasn't going to pay for something I didn't agree to and that wasn't finished. That's when things escalated. She told me to leave and not come back, and as I stood up, she physically put her hands on me, pushing me and yelling. It was absolutely unacceptable and honestly scary. I've never experienced anything like this at any business. It was extremely disappointing. Went here yesterday because of all the good reviews. Wasn't disappointed! All seats were taken. Customers and staff were all happily chatting like they knew each other for years. Shujuan did my nails and explained every step. She applied tips on two fingers, applied clear powder then gel, and did the Disney-themed design like I asked. Finally found my go-to-salon! A bit of a drive for me but worth it! Only thing I would wish for is more parking as I had to park next door. read more

The staff is super friendly and my nail technician did a great job with my manicure and pedicure. My saviors!!! Some backstory - I am a lifelong nail-biter. I have no plans to stop that habit. And after 30+years of constant biting, I obviously have tiny stubs. Not much any nail beautician can do with these stubs lol. That said, my friends FORCED me to get acrylics for wedding photos. After 2 days of poking myself in the eye to deal with contacts, texting skills now worse than the most drunken texter, unable to type on a computer, can't build anything or do my job (I'm a STEM teacher), can't open chip bags or a soda can... I WAS DESPERATE TO TAKE THEM OFF ASAP. I found this salon via Yelp, called, was quickly squeezed in, and in 15-20min THE ACYRLICS WERE GONE. THANK YOU. Jane was SO NICE and gentle. She took the time to sand them down, soften them, and repeat the process slowly and gradually (prolly to lessen any damage to the real nail). They only said $10, but no way! I was so happy I just left a $20 and I shouted praises and cheers as I left I don't mind pedicures tho. So I am definitely bookmarking this place and coming back for anything else I'd need! read more

Pretty sure this is my new go to spot. I am 7 months pregnant and Coco advised me of what was a safe option for me as some nail products are not good for pregnant women. I have been living in Hamilton for some time now and dying to find the perfect nail salon. I have very bad cuticles and I like my nails short and round and Erica did a wonderful job! My nails are short and round and my cuticles are so clean. I also like the fact she paid attention to the tip of the nails so they won't chip. It's been a week with my gel mani and I've done everything imaginable- dishes, laundry, gym, packed and moved boxes, opened cans etc and they are in perfect condition. I love that they have OPI gel polishes as well since it's my favorite brand. I really also liked the fact that Erica didn't engage in conversation because I just needed a quiet gel mani kind of day. This is hands down the best nail salon I have attended. I've been coming here for about 8 months, since I moved into the area, the techs do a great job with my gel fills. They don't chip, crack or break; I really only have to go in due to growth. They also put up with my nail design requests which are not always the simplest. Their polishes are in good condition (not old or goopy) and they get new season colors (OPI is my favorite). Staff is polite, communicative, and honest. I have noticed that the owner, who also works on clients, is personable and treats his staff respectfully which I believe facilitates an engaged staff. They do have a lot of clients so I would advise making an apt if you are going during peak hours. Not a negative point, more of a sign of a great salon. In short, I have been having a wonderful experience for the past 8 months and will continue to use their salon. read more

I came in with no appointment to get my dip powder taken off of my fingernails. I got a pedicure and a dip powder set a month ago and I'm not good with up keep just did it for my birthday and service was great. I came in to get it removed which I guess is a soak off and I was shocked at how they left my nails looking. I didn't expect a manicure just for them to take off the gel and make my nails look somewhat normal again. Instead she did the cotton balls and the foil took it off asked me to wash my hands and sent me on my way. No buffing or filing. My nails were left looking scratched and with chunks of gel still on. She said it was $10 and that I wasn't getting anything else because I didn't pay for a manicure. I wasn't expecting her to do my cuticles and polish but at least make my nails look decent. I could've just done this at home which I regret not doing to begin with. The lack of customer service reminds me why I don't go to these places to begin with. read more

I've been trying to not give them a really bad review but the way my nails turned out to be after only a week and a half it's kind of impossible. I went to Hamilton nail boutique because of the great reviews in yelp. I did see that someone else had the chipping problem but I thought it was just one out of the many. I loved that they have so many colors to choose from, and the environment is really clean. Everyone seemed to be friendly. The nail tech that did my nails was super fast and I thought "wow she's really good" but now I think that she was rushing and that's the reason why this turn out to be the way they are. Gel manicure usually last me about 3 weeks, after 4 days two started to chip, went in and the lady had a little bit of attitude, but helped at the end. She only put two coats of color. I don't think I will go back to this place. They seemed very friendly and really good because of the reviews but after my experience I will rather try different places. read more

so, i'm picky with my nails. i frequented another local nail place in the area for more than 5 years, but after a few bad experiences there it was time for a change. at the suggestion of a girlfriend, i scheduled an appointment at hamilton nail boutique. and i keep going back. my gel mani's stay fresh for 3+ weeks. woooo! and the price point is good, $25. really good selection o f gel colors. pedicures are good too, and they include an exfoliating scrub, which is nice. the staff is friendly and engages in conversation. they're detail oriented and really pay attention... super important. i don't recommend the waxing, though. they're pretty heavy handed with the wax, and my skin was not a fan. bonus: they have a punch-card program so after 5 services, you get $5 off your next one. ps- it's easy to miss, but the salon is located on rt. 33 across from brother's pizza. they're in the same small strip mall as best choice sushi, and the parking lot is in the back. so is the entrance. pps- as with most other salons of this caliber, they won't put the tip on a credit card, so don't forget cash. read more

I went to this salon for a last minute pedicure on a Friday afternoon. I called ahead and he said there was no wait. I walked right in and sat down. There were 2 women who were free and they went back and forth with the man and a young woman about who would do the pedicure. It seems neither of them wanted to do it. The young woman who did it was nice enough. She was quiet, which I liked, because I didn't feel like talking. It was pretty basic for a pedicure. She wore gloves, which I hate, but it was ok. I can't comment on polish colors or selection because I brought my own. Anyway, it was soak feet, trim nails & cuticles, exfoliate (barely a rub, just enough to get the scrub on my legs), callus removal with the tool, rinse, lotion rub (much better than the other, but not done with any kind effort, nor did it last very long), polish. There was no hot towel on the feet and legs or a shoulder massage at the end like some salons do. She gave me a cursory thank you after she set me up at the dryer for my toes. The place is in a strip mall on route 33 in Hamilton. It's across the street from Brother's Pizza. It's conveniently located with parking in the back. It was pretty nondescript on the inside. They had TVs on with low volume. It looked like an older place. It didn't seem dirty but I didn't pay that much attention, now that I recall, so I guess it was clean enough. As I left, no one said anything. It was $25 for the pedicure and I tipped her $4. She gave me a customer loyalty card with a punch on it. Buy 5 then get the 5th one at $5 off or something like that. It's a good deal but I doubt I'll go back to this place for a pedicure. It was average. read more

The first time I went there a woman by the name of Sandy (I think) did my gel manicure, and my nails looked beautiful! The next time I went back a woman by the name of Lilly did my gel manicure, and again, my nails looked beautiful! I've also gotten a pedicure here before, and that was wonderfully done too.
